Čak 44 solo jedriličara prijavila su se za Vendée Globe, najekstremniju regatu oko svijeta za samce bez zaustavljanja i vanjske pomoći, koja starta 10. studenog 2024., objavio je sailworld.com.

Ekipa je kao i uvijek zanimljiva. Među njoj je najmlađa skiperica 22-godišnja Violette Dorange koja će jedriti u brodu na kojem je Jean Le Cam završio Vendée Globe 2020.

Najstariji skiper regate je Jean de Cam zvani Kralj, 64-godišnjak kojem će ovo biti šesti start regate koju namjerava otploviti u novoj IMOCA-i.

Na Globe se prijavio i paraolimpijac Francuz Damien Seguin, prvi skiper s invaliditetom koji je dovršio Vendée Globe 2020.-2021., kao i Jingkun Xu, mladi kineski skiper koji je kao 12-godišnjak izgubio ruku, te je počeo jedriti. Njihova kandidatura naglašava da je Vendée Globe nadahnjujuća inkluzivna regata.

Ukupno gledajući, na novo izdanje ove regate javili su se predstavnici 11 nacija (Francuska, Velika Britanija, Švicarska, Njemačka, Italija, Belgija, Japan, Mađarska, Kina, SAD, Novi Zeland).

Da bismo saznali kojih će 40 natjecatelja na koncu isploviti u studenom iduće godine, morat ćemo pričekati posljednju kvalifikacijsku i selekcijsku utrku: New York Vendée - Les Sables d‘Olonne, koja će iz Sjedinjenih Država krenuti 29. svibnja 2024.

Čak 44 solo jedriličara prijavila su se za Vendée Globe, najekstremniju regatu oko svijeta za samce bez zaustavljanja i vanjske pomoći, koja starta 10. studenog 2024., objavio je sailworld.com.

Ekipa je kao i uvijek zanimljiva. Među njoj je najmlađa skiperica 22-godišnja Violette Dorange koja će jedriti u brodu na kojem je Jean Le Cam završio Vendée Globe 2020.

Najstariji skiper regate je Jean de Cam zvani Kralj, 64-godišnjak kojem će ovo biti šesti start regate koju namjerava otploviti u novoj IMOCA-i.

Na Globe se prijavio i paraolimpijac Francuz Damien Seguin, prvi skiper s invaliditetom koji je dovršio Vendée Globe 2020.-2021., kao i Jingkun Xu, mladi kineski skiper koji je kao 12-godišnjak izgubio ruku, te je počeo jedriti. Njihova kandidatura naglašava da je Vendée Globe nadahnjujuća inkluzivna regata.

Ukupno gledajući, na novo izdanje ove regate javili su se predstavnici 11 nacija (Francuska, Velika Britanija, Švicarska, Njemačka, Italija, Belgija, Japan, Mađarska, Kina, SAD, Novi Zeland).

Da bismo saznali kojih će 40 natjecatelja na koncu isploviti u studenom iduće godine, morat ćemo pričekati posljednju kvalifikacijsku i selekcijsku utrku: New York Vendée - Les Sables d‘Olonne, koja će iz Sjedinjenih Država krenuti 29. svibnja 2024.

Vendee GlobePripreme za najekstremniju regatu za samce: na put oko svijeta kreće 40 jedriličara iz 11 zemalja

Čak 44 solo jedriličara prijavila su se za Vendée Globe, najekstremniju regatu oko svijeta za samce bez zaustavljanja i vanjske pomoći, koja starta 10. studenog 2024., objavio je sailworld.com.

Ekipa je kao i uvijek zanimljiva. Među njoj je najmlađa skiperica 22-godišnja Violette Dorange koja će jedriti u brodu na kojem je Jean Le Cam završio Vendée Globe 2020.

Najstariji skiper regate je Jean de Cam zvani Kralj, 64-godišnjak kojem će ovo biti šesti start regate koju namjerava otploviti u novoj IMOCA-i.

Na Globe se prijavio i paraolimpijac Francuz Damien Seguin, prvi skiper s invaliditetom koji je dovršio Vendée Globe 2020.-2021., kao i Jingkun Xu, mladi kineski skiper koji je kao 12-godišnjak izgubio ruku, te je počeo jedriti. Njihova kandidatura naglašava da je Vendée Globe nadahnjujuća inkluzivna regata.

Ukupno gledajući, na novo izdanje ove regate javili su se predstavnici 11 nacija (Francuska, Velika Britanija, Švicarska, Njemačka, Italija, Belgija, Japan, Mađarska, Kina, SAD, Novi Zeland).

Da bismo saznali kojih će 40 natjecatelja na koncu isploviti u studenom iduće godine, morat ćemo pričekati posljednju kvalifikacijsku i selekcijsku utrku: New York Vendée - Les Sables d‘Olonne, koja će iz Sjedinjenih Država krenuti 29. svibnja 2024.

Još jednom ćemo ugostiti jedriličare s izvanrednim iskustvom i osobnostima iz cijelog svijeta, spremne za osvajanje veličine oceana i ostvarenje svojih snova. Sve veći broj prijava međunarodnih skipera pokazuje globalni doseg naše utrke i pokazuje koliko nadahnjuje ljude izvan njihovih granica. Upravo ta ljudska raznolikost čini Vendée Globe tako izvanrednim avantura."
