Aleksandar Lukašenko u srijedu je iznenada, bez najave, položio prisegu za novi predsjednički mandat, navodi državna novinska agencija Belta. Ceremonija prisege, koja je u prethodnim situacijama bila najavljivana kao velik događaj, održana je nakon spornih rezultata izbora 9. kolovoza.

Belta navodi da je Lukašenko položio svoju desnu ruku na kopiju ustava te da je položio prisegu, dok je ceremoniji prisustvovalo nekoliko stotina ljudi.Bjelorusija bi se mogla suočiti sa sankcijama EU-a i SAD-a zbog spornih izbora i oštrog odgovora sigurnosnog aparata na prosvjede.

Istražitelj UN-a za ljudska prava Anais Marin rekao je prošloga tjedna da je više od 10 tisuća ljudi uhićeno od izbora, dok postoji više od 500 izvještaja o torturi. 

Lukašenko, koji čvrstom rukom vlada Bjelorusijom od 1994., tvrdi da je pobijedio s 80 posto glasova, dok opozicija tvrdi da su izbori ukradeni te da je pobijedila Svetlana Tihanovska. Od objave rezultata izbora brojni Bjelorusi prosvjeduju protiv vlasti Aleksandar Lukašenka, koji je pred izbore uhitio nekoliko glavnih konkurenata, dok je većinu preostalih opozicijskih vođa nakon izbora uhitio ili prisilio na odlazak iz zemlje. Svetlana Tihanovska, čelnica opozicijskog Koordinacijskog vijeća, nalazi se u Litvi.

Aleksandar Lukašenko u srijedu je iznenada, bez najave, položio prisegu za novi predsjednički mandat, navodi državna novinska agencija Belta. Ceremonija prisege, koja je u prethodnim situacijama bila najavljivana kao velik događaj, održana je nakon spornih rezultata izbora 9. kolovoza.

Belta navodi da je Lukašenko položio svoju desnu ruku na kopiju ustava te da je položio prisegu, dok je ceremoniji prisustvovalo nekoliko stotina ljudi.Bjelorusija bi se mogla suočiti sa sankcijama EU-a i SAD-a zbog spornih izbora i oštrog odgovora sigurnosnog aparata na prosvjede.

Istražitelj UN-a za ljudska prava Anais Marin rekao je prošloga tjedna da je više od 10 tisuća ljudi uhićeno od izbora, dok postoji više od 500 izvještaja o torturi. 

Lukašenko, koji čvrstom rukom vlada Bjelorusijom od 1994., tvrdi da je pobijedio s 80 posto glasova, dok opozicija tvrdi da su izbori ukradeni te da je pobijedila Svetlana Tihanovska. Od objave rezultata izbora brojni Bjelorusi prosvjeduju protiv vlasti Aleksandar Lukašenka, koji je pred izbore uhitio nekoliko glavnih konkurenata, dok je većinu preostalih opozicijskih vođa nakon izbora uhitio ili prisilio na odlazak iz zemlje. Svetlana Tihanovska, čelnica opozicijskog Koordinacijskog vijeća, nalazi se u Litvi.

Lukašenko bez najave položio prisegu za novi predsjednički mandat unatoč namještanju izbora, padaju li višetjedni provjedi u vodu?

Aleksandar Lukašenko u srijedu je iznenada, bez najave, položio prisegu za novi predsjednički mandat, navodi državna novinska agencija Belta. Ceremonija prisege, koja je u prethodnim situacijama bila najavljivana kao velik događaj, održana je nakon spornih rezultata izbora 9. kolovoza.

Belta navodi da je Lukašenko položio svoju desnu ruku na kopiju ustava te da je položio prisegu, dok je ceremoniji prisustvovalo nekoliko stotina ljudi.Bjelorusija bi se mogla suočiti sa sankcijama EU-a i SAD-a zbog spornih izbora i oštrog odgovora sigurnosnog aparata na prosvjede.

Istražitelj UN-a za ljudska prava Anais Marin rekao je prošloga tjedna da je više od 10 tisuća ljudi uhićeno od izbora, dok postoji više od 500 izvještaja o torturi.
