Austrija je jedna od 17 europskih država koje su primile doze iz serije AstraZenecina cjepiva protiv covida-19 čiju su uporabu zaustavile austrijske vlasti dok se istražuje slučaj smrti i bolesti nakon njegove uporabe, viši zdravstveni dužnosnik rekao je u utorak.

Četrdesetdevetogodišnja medicinska sestra u Zwettlu, gradu sjeverozapadno od Beča, umrla je od teškog poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi nakon primanja cjepiva.

Druga medicinska sestra iz Zwettla koja ima 35 godina i primila je dozu iz iste serije, ABV 5300, razvila je plućnu emboliju i oporavlja se.

"Obavijestili smo sve europske kolege u europskoj mreži jer je ova serija, koja je ukupno iznosila otprilike milijun doza, poslana u 17 europskih zemalja", rekla je Christa Wirthumer-Hoche, voditeljica nadzornog tijela za tržište lijekova austrijske agencije za javno zdravstvo AGES, na konferenciji za novinare.

Odbor za procjenu rizika farmakovigilancije Europske agencije za lijekove (PRAC), koji nadzire sigurnost lijekova, raspravljao je o slučaju u ponedjeljak, kazala je Wirthumer-Hoche, koja je i na čelu upravnog odbora EMA-e.

Nije identificirala zemlje niti je rekla koje su korake, ako jesu, poduzele. AstraZeneca je rekla da je u kontaktu s austrijskim vlastima i da će u potpunosti podržati istragu.

Englesko-švedska tvrtka rekla je da su sve serije podložne strogoj i rigoroznoj kontroli kvalitete te da "nije potvrđena ozbiljna štetna pojava povezana s cjepivom".

Izvodi se obdukcija nad tijelom medicinske sestre i Wirthumer-Hoche je rekla da rezultate očekuje sljedeći tjedan.

Regulatori Europske unije odobrili su cjepivo potkraj siječnja rekavši da je učinkovito i sigurno za uporabu, dok ga je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija sredinom veljače stavila na popis za hitnu upotrebu.

Nuspojave uočene u ispitivanjima uglavnom su bile kratkotrajne, a problemi sa zgrušavanjem krvi nisu zabilježeni.

U procjeni sigurnosti koju je njemački regulator cjepiva proveo među više od 360. 000 ljudi koji su prošli mjesec primili AstraZenecino cjepivo zaključeno je da su nuspojave u skladu sa sigurnosnim profilom opisanim u kliničkim ispitivanjima.

Austrija je jedna od 17 europskih država koje su primile doze iz serije AstraZenecina cjepiva protiv covida-19 čiju su uporabu zaustavile austrijske vlasti dok se istražuje slučaj smrti i bolesti nakon njegove uporabe, viši zdravstveni dužnosnik rekao je u utorak.

Četrdesetdevetogodišnja medicinska sestra u Zwettlu, gradu sjeverozapadno od Beča, umrla je od teškog poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi nakon primanja cjepiva.

Druga medicinska sestra iz Zwettla koja ima 35 godina i primila je dozu iz iste serije, ABV 5300, razvila je plućnu emboliju i oporavlja se.

"Obavijestili smo sve europske kolege u europskoj mreži jer je ova serija, koja je ukupno iznosila otprilike milijun doza, poslana u 17 europskih zemalja", rekla je Christa Wirthumer-Hoche, voditeljica nadzornog tijela za tržište lijekova austrijske agencije za javno zdravstvo AGES, na konferenciji za novinare.

Odbor za procjenu rizika farmakovigilancije Europske agencije za lijekove (PRAC), koji nadzire sigurnost lijekova, raspravljao je o slučaju u ponedjeljak, kazala je Wirthumer-Hoche, koja je i na čelu upravnog odbora EMA-e.

Nije identificirala zemlje niti je rekla koje su korake, ako jesu, poduzele. AstraZeneca je rekla da je u kontaktu s austrijskim vlastima i da će u potpunosti podržati istragu.

Englesko-švedska tvrtka rekla je da su sve serije podložne strogoj i rigoroznoj kontroli kvalitete te da "nije potvrđena ozbiljna štetna pojava povezana s cjepivom".

Izvodi se obdukcija nad tijelom medicinske sestre i Wirthumer-Hoche je rekla da rezultate očekuje sljedeći tjedan.

Regulatori Europske unije odobrili su cjepivo potkraj siječnja rekavši da je učinkovito i sigurno za uporabu, dok ga je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija sredinom veljače stavila na popis za hitnu upotrebu.

Nuspojave uočene u ispitivanjima uglavnom su bile kratkotrajne, a problemi sa zgrušavanjem krvi nisu zabilježeni.

U procjeni sigurnosti koju je njemački regulator cjepiva proveo među više od 360. 000 ljudi koji su prošli mjesec primili AstraZenecino cjepivo zaključeno je da su nuspojave u skladu sa sigurnosnim profilom opisanim u kliničkim ispitivanjima.

Austrija je jedna od 17 europskih država koje su primile doze iz serije AstraZenecina cjepiva protiv covida-19 čiju su uporabu zaustavile austrijske vlasti dok se istražuje slučaj smrti i bolesti nakon njegove uporabe, viši zdravstveni dužnosnik rekao je u utorak.

Četrdesetdevetogodišnja medicinska sestra u Zwettlu, gradu sjeverozapadno od Beča, umrla je od teškog poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi nakon primanja cjepiva.

Druga medicinska sestra iz Zwettla koja ima 35 godina i primila je dozu iz iste serije, ABV 5300, razvila je plućnu emboliju i oporavlja se.

"Obavijestili smo sve europske kolege u europskoj mreži jer je ova serija, koja je ukupno iznosila otprilike milijun doza, poslana u 17 europskih zemalja", rekla je Christa Wirthumer-Hoche, voditeljica nadzornog tijela...
