Ako bismo trebali pronaći nešto dobro što se našem gradu dogodilo u aktualnoj krizi, onda je to svakako kultura života na balkonima i u vrtovima ispred kuća, koja se zahvaljujući koronavirusu podigla na zaista zavidnu razinu.
Napravite li đir pustim splitskim ulicama, primijetit ćete da su okućnice i balkoni zasjali kao nikad ranije, sije se i sadi punom parom, sve se zeleni. Čak i najmanji balkoni visokih zgrada i nebodera, do prije koji mjesec većinom otužni i sivi, sada su procvali, što je gradu pod Marjanom dalo sasvim novu, puno ljepšu vizuru.
Kultura balkona, zahvaljujući koroni, prodisala je punim plućima. Nikad veći redovi, čini nam se, nisu zabilježeni ispred vrtnih centara i poljoapoteka. U redovima se već danima čeka i do 50 minuta, a sadnice brzo nestaju.
Zakasnili ste, nestalo...
- Zakasnili ste, jagode su nestale već prošloga tjedna, a velika pomama sada je za rajčicama, tikvicama, balancanama, paprikama... Brzo nestaju, nabavljamo nove, inače je ovo vrijeme od naše sezone, ali ne pamtim gužvu kao ove godine. Ljudi su poludjeli za biljem.
Standardno, sade se razne vrste salata, začina, petrusimula, selena, zelenja, a puno toga se kupuje i za balkone. Sade se maline, kupine, a u pitar idu i limuni, naranče, masline, svega se ljudi dosjete, tko nema vrt ima balkon, a i tu se čudo može napraviti. Čak i sjeme jako brzo nestaje, ljudi po balkonima sade špinat, blitvu, rikulu, pa i pome. Pa zar nije bolje i to nego gledati televiziju i sjediti na kauču kada već ne možemo u šetnje? - ističe prodavačica u jednom splitskom poljocentru.
Njezine tvrdnje potvrđuju i naši brojni čitatelji, koji su, u okvirima onoga čime raspolažu, na svojim balkonima i vrtovima napravili prava mala čuda. Neki su se sijanja i sađenja biljaka prihvatili prvi put, pa su s nama rado podijelili svoja postignuća.

- Raduje me vrijeme provedeno s mojim učenicima, ali i biljkama. Sadila sam uglavnom cvijeće. Imam margaritele, lantanu, heliotropium, to je prekrasna biljka, voli puno vode, sunce, miriše kao vanilija i kada stavljam sušiti robu pokraj nje tako lijepo zamiriše, poput prirodnog parfema. No, apsolutna ljubimica mi je moja ljubičasta bakopa - ustupila nam je i fotografije s balkona.
Ružmarin, kadulja i smilje
Prodavačice iz vrtnih centara potvrdile su nam da se traže mirisni jasmini, jorgovani, ali i primamljive bugenvilije.
- Sada se stvarno sve kupuje, ružmarin, kadulja, smilje... Lavanda je standard, budući da dobro odolijeva suncu. Ruže su uvijek, recimo to tako, u modi. Čini mi se da su Splićanke ipak najvjernije điranima - crveni, ružičasti, ljubičasti, bijeli, svaki će balkon učiniti primamljivim, a i zahvalni su za naša područja. Sade se i hortenzije jer su lijepe a nisu zahtjevne, rastu gotovo kao korov. Koliko ljudi se sada primilo grablji i motike prvi put, vrtlarenje je kao virus, odmah se zaraziš, samo neka ti jedna biljka uspije, zaražen si do kraja života - nasmijala nas je sugovornica.
Budući da su ljeta na gradskom betonu vruća i suha, neki su nam čitatelji poslali fotografije najomiljenijih dalmatinskih biljaka - sukulenata.
- Treba im samo šaka zemlje, malo vode i mrva ljubavi - stoji u opisu fotografije koju nam je ustupio čitatelj Renato, jedan od onih kojemu je tek korona, na pragu četrdesetih, otkrila sve čari sadnje.
Velike gužve bilježe se i oko plastenika na rubnim dijelovima grada koji se bave prodajom sadnica, no putove do njih, često makadamske, znaju uglavnom nešto upućeniji vrtlari. Vrtlarenje, urbani, ali i viseći i vertikalni vrtovi hit su posljednjih godina, posebice na društvenim mrežama, te polako ali sigurno prelaze u popularne “mainstream” hobije.

Sadnja povrća po balkonima, krovovima, gredicama ispred portuna sve je češća pojava, a eskaliralo je posljednjih nekoliko tjedana pa sve više upita pristiže na adresu udruge “Permakultura Dalmacija”.
Mnogim našim građanima pravi je izazov okrenuti se prirodi i zato se sadi i sije gdje god se može. Naša udruga ne bavi se samo vrtlarenjem, već i prirodnom gradnjom, edukacijom, a i članovi smo Društvene banke sjemena, gdje ljudi u pravilu razmjenjuju staro i prirodno sjemenje s kojim znate što jedete, a čuva se i nacionalna bioraznolikost.
Doduše, najviše upita imamo oko toga kako nešto posijati, u posudice ili odmah u zemlju, kada se presađuje... Zbog toga ćemo na našoj Facebook stranici uskoro objaviti edukativne materijale s opsežnim uputama za priobalnu klimu i Zagoru, koji će biti besplatni i javno dostupni - kazao nam je Marin Kanajet iz “Permakulture”.

Ako bismo trebali pronaći nešto dobro što se našem gradu dogodilo u aktualnoj krizi, onda je to svakako kultura života na balkonima i u vrtovima ispred kuća, koja se zahvaljujući koronavirusu podigla na zaista zavidnu razinu.
Napravite li đir pustim splitskim ulicama, primijetit ćete da su okućnice i balkoni zasjali kao nikad ranije, sije se i sadi punom parom, sve se zeleni. Čak i najmanji balkoni visokih zgrada i nebodera, do prije koji mjesec većinom otužni i sivi, sada su procvali, što je gradu pod Marjanom dalo sasvim novu, puno ljepšu vizuru.
Kultura balkona, zahvaljujući koroni, prodisala je punim plućima. Nikad veći redovi, čini nam se, nisu zabilježeni ispred vrtnih centara i poljoapoteka. U redovima se već danima čeka i do 50 minuta, a sadnice brzo nestaju.
Zakasnili ste, nestalo...
- Zakasnili ste, jagode su nestale već prošloga tjedna, a velika pomama sada je za rajčicama, tikvicama, balancanama, paprikama... Brzo nestaju, nabavljamo nove, inače je ovo vrijeme od naše sezone, ali ne pamtim gužvu kao ove godine. Ljudi su poludjeli za biljem.
Standardno, sade se razne vrste salata, začina, petrusimula, selena, zelenja, a puno toga se kupuje i za balkone. Sade se maline, kupine, a u pitar idu i limuni, naranče, masline, svega se ljudi dosjete, tko nema vrt ima balkon, a i tu se čudo može napraviti. Čak i sjeme jako brzo nestaje, ljudi po balkonima sade špinat, blitvu, rikulu, pa i pome. Pa zar nije bolje i to nego gledati televiziju i sjediti na kauču kada već ne možemo u šetnje? - ističe prodavačica u jednom splitskom poljocentru.
Njezine tvrdnje potvrđuju i naši brojni čitatelji, koji su, u okvirima onoga čime raspolažu, na svojim balkonima i vrtovima napravili prava mala čuda. Neki su se sijanja i sađenja biljaka prihvatili prvi put, pa su s nama rado podijelili svoja postignuća.

- Raduje me vrijeme provedeno s mojim učenicima, ali i biljkama. Sadila sam uglavnom cvijeće. Imam margaritele, lantanu, heliotropium, to je prekrasna biljka, voli puno vode, sunce, miriše kao vanilija i kada stavljam sušiti robu pokraj nje tako lijepo zamiriše, poput prirodnog parfema. No, apsolutna ljubimica mi je moja ljubičasta bakopa - ustupila nam je i fotografije s balkona.
Ružmarin, kadulja i smilje
Prodavačice iz vrtnih centara potvrdile su nam da se traže mirisni jasmini, jorgovani, ali i primamljive bugenvilije.
- Sada se stvarno sve kupuje, ružmarin, kadulja, smilje... Lavanda je standard, budući da dobro odolijeva suncu. Ruže su uvijek, recimo to tako, u modi. Čini mi se da su Splićanke ipak najvjernije điranima - crveni, ružičasti, ljubičasti, bijeli, svaki će balkon učiniti primamljivim, a i zahvalni su za naša područja. Sade se i hortenzije jer su lijepe a nisu zahtjevne, rastu gotovo kao korov. Koliko ljudi se sada primilo grablji i motike prvi put, vrtlarenje je kao virus, odmah se zaraziš, samo neka ti jedna biljka uspije, zaražen si do kraja života - nasmijala nas je sugovornica.
Budući da su ljeta na gradskom betonu vruća i suha, neki su nam čitatelji poslali fotografije najomiljenijih dalmatinskih biljaka - sukulenata.
- Treba im samo šaka zemlje, malo vode i mrva ljubavi - stoji u opisu fotografije koju nam je ustupio čitatelj Renato, jedan od onih kojemu je tek korona, na pragu četrdesetih, otkrila sve čari sadnje.
Velike gužve bilježe se i oko plastenika na rubnim dijelovima grada koji se bave prodajom sadnica, no putove do njih, često makadamske, znaju uglavnom nešto upućeniji vrtlari. Vrtlarenje, urbani, ali i viseći i vertikalni vrtovi hit su posljednjih godina, posebice na društvenim mrežama, te polako ali sigurno prelaze u popularne “mainstream” hobije.

Sadnja povrća po balkonima, krovovima, gredicama ispred portuna sve je češća pojava, a eskaliralo je posljednjih nekoliko tjedana pa sve više upita pristiže na adresu udruge “Permakultura Dalmacija”.
Mnogim našim građanima pravi je izazov okrenuti se prirodi i zato se sadi i sije gdje god se može. Naša udruga ne bavi se samo vrtlarenjem, već i prirodnom gradnjom, edukacijom, a i članovi smo Društvene banke sjemena, gdje ljudi u pravilu razmjenjuju staro i prirodno sjemenje s kojim znate što jedete, a čuva se i nacionalna bioraznolikost.
Doduše, najviše upita imamo oko toga kako nešto posijati, u posudice ili odmah u zemlju, kada se presađuje... Zbog toga ćemo na našoj Facebook stranici uskoro objaviti edukativne materijale s opsežnim uputama za priobalnu klimu i Zagoru, koji će biti besplatni i javno dostupni - kazao nam je Marin Kanajet iz “Permakulture”.
