Marko Babić (31), Zagrepčanin čija je borba protiv teške bolesti ganula mnoge, preminuo je, a njegov je odlazak mnoge rastužio.

‘Putuj, dječače naš. Slomljeni, ali ponosni što smo bili s tobom na ovom putovanju‘, objavili su članovi njegove obitelji na njegovom Instagram profilu.

Marko je bio arhitekt, autor bestselera ‘Putovanje zvano igra‘, stručnjak za marketing, ali i osoba koja je u posljednje dvije godine uvelike pomogla ljudima koji su se susreli s dijagnozom. Uz to je bio najbolji otac, partner, sin, brat i prijatelj.

Prije dvije godine dobio je dijagnozu Ewingovog sarkoma, rijetkog oblika raka kosti, a u svibnju mu se bolest vratila i proširila na druge organe. Osim na kosti, i na pluća i moždanu ovojnicu.

- U jednoj rečenici, rekao bih da sam ja čovjek koji samo želi biti lagan dok šeta ulicama svoga grada. Nešto šire od toga bilo bi to da sam tridesetogodišnji Marko, otac dviju fenomenalnih djevojčica i partner jedne divne Dalmatinke. To su stvari koje me najviše određuju - kazao je prošle godine novinarki Slobodna Dalmacije.

Markov sarkom motivirao ga je na izlazak iz vlastite zone komfora pa je svoju nesreću koristio da bi pomogao drugima i potaknuo svijest. Slagao se s riječima liječnika kako Hrvati ne posvećuju dovoljno pažnje svojem zdravlju.

– Ja sam bio prvi primjer takve osobe. Doduše, sa sarkomom je situacija takva da bi se teško otkrio preventivnim pregledom. Naime, to je jako rijetka bolest pa ni liječnicima najčešće nije prva sumnja. Kada je krenulo ovo moje putovanje, počeo sam pisati. Nisam tada razmišljao o tome da će to biti knjiga. Pisao sam prvenstveno zbog sebe. Kada se suočiš s ovako ozbiljnom dijagnozom, sve u životu stane. Čovjek odjednom dobije sve vrijeme svijeta za razmišljanje i introspekciju.

Mene je bilo strah da ću sve zaključke do kojih sam došao olako odbaciti čim ozdravim. Zato sam ih odlučio zapisivati, kako bih im se mogao vraćati. U nekom trenutku situacija je postala prilično ozbiljna pa sam odlučio da želim, u slučaju najgoreg scenarija, kroz moje zapise ostaviti svojim curama komadić tate. S obzirom na njihovu dob, bilo je jasno da će taj komadić mene moći doživjeti tek kada skupe neke ozbiljnije godine - rekao je Marko koji je nedugo nakon razgovora za Slobodnu Dalmaciju izdao knjigu ‘Putovanje zvano igra‘.

- Kao i sve druge stvari u životu, i ovu bolest doživio sam kroz neku svoju prizmu, a na taj način sam i pisao knjigu. Pretpostavljam da će čitatelji koji put pustiti suzu tijekom čitanja, ali potrudio sam se da to bude puno češće zbog smijeha nego zbog tuge. Moja je želja bila pokazati svojim primjerom, prvo svojim curama, a onda i svim drugim čitateljima, da se čovjek s izazovima koje život stavi pred nas može nositi uzdignute glave i s osmijehom na licu - istaknuo je Marko.

Marko Babić (31), Zagrepčanin čija je borba protiv teške bolesti ganula mnoge, preminuo je, a njegov je odlazak mnoge rastužio.

‘Putuj, dječače naš. Slomljeni, ali ponosni što smo bili s tobom na ovom putovanju‘, objavili su članovi njegove obitelji na njegovom Instagram profilu.

Marko je bio arhitekt, autor bestselera ‘Putovanje zvano igra‘, stručnjak za marketing, ali i osoba koja je u posljednje dvije godine uvelike pomogla ljudima koji su se susreli s dijagnozom. Uz to je bio najbolji otac, partner, sin, brat i prijatelj.

Prije dvije godine dobio je dijagnozu Ewingovog sarkoma, rijetkog oblika raka kosti, a u svibnju mu se bolest vratila i proširila na druge organe. Osim na kosti, i na pluća i moždanu ovojnicu.

- U jednoj rečenici, rekao bih da sam ja čovjek koji samo želi biti lagan dok šeta ulicama svoga grada. Nešto šire od toga bilo bi to da sam tridesetogodišnji Marko, otac dviju fenomenalnih djevojčica i partner jedne divne Dalmatinke. To su stvari koje me najviše određuju - kazao je prošle godine novinarki Slobodna Dalmacije.

Markov sarkom motivirao ga je na izlazak iz vlastite zone komfora pa je svoju nesreću koristio da bi pomogao drugima i potaknuo svijest. Slagao se s riječima liječnika kako Hrvati ne posvećuju dovoljno pažnje svojem zdravlju.

– Ja sam bio prvi primjer takve osobe. Doduše, sa sarkomom je situacija takva da bi se teško otkrio preventivnim pregledom. Naime, to je jako rijetka bolest pa ni liječnicima najčešće nije prva sumnja. Kada je krenulo ovo moje putovanje, počeo sam pisati. Nisam tada razmišljao o tome da će to biti knjiga. Pisao sam prvenstveno zbog sebe. Kada se suočiš s ovako ozbiljnom dijagnozom, sve u životu stane. Čovjek odjednom dobije sve vrijeme svijeta za razmišljanje i introspekciju.

Mene je bilo strah da ću sve zaključke do kojih sam došao olako odbaciti čim ozdravim. Zato sam ih odlučio zapisivati, kako bih im se mogao vraćati. U nekom trenutku situacija je postala prilično ozbiljna pa sam odlučio da želim, u slučaju najgoreg scenarija, kroz moje zapise ostaviti svojim curama komadić tate. S obzirom na njihovu dob, bilo je jasno da će taj komadić mene moći doživjeti tek kada skupe neke ozbiljnije godine - rekao je Marko koji je nedugo nakon razgovora za Slobodnu Dalmaciju izdao knjigu ‘Putovanje zvano igra‘.

- Kao i sve druge stvari u životu, i ovu bolest doživio sam kroz neku svoju prizmu, a na taj način sam i pisao knjigu. Pretpostavljam da će čitatelji koji put pustiti suzu tijekom čitanja, ali potrudio sam se da to bude puno češće zbog smijeha nego zbog tuge. Moja je želja bila pokazati svojim primjerom, prvo svojim curama, a onda i svim drugim čitateljima, da se čovjek s izazovima koje život stavi pred nas može nositi uzdignute glave i s osmijehom na licu - istaknuo je Marko.
