Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) "pažljivo će pročitati" kinesku studiju o novom soju virusa svinjske gripe, rekao je u utorak glasnogovornik i istaknuo da ti nalazi samo naglašavaju važnost sustavnog nadzora u pandemiji covida-19.

Novi virus gripe otkriven među kineskim svinjama zarazniji je za ljude i treba ga pomno pratiti kako ne bi postao potencijalni "pandemijski virus", otkriva studija.

"Pažljivo ćemo pročitati studiju kako bismo vidjeli što je novo", rekao je novinarima glasnogovornik WHO-a Christian Lindmeier i dodao da je važno surađivati na otkrićima i motriti životinjsku populaciju.

"To također ukazuje na to da se ne smijemo opustiti kada je riječ o gripi i da trebamo biti budni te nastaviti i s nadzorom pandemije koronavirusa", dodao je.

Grupa kineskih istraživača proučila je viruse gripe zaraženih svinja od 2011. do 2018. te je otkrila "G4" soj H1N1, koji posjeduje "sve bitne karakteristike potencijalnog pandemijskog virusa", stoji u dokumentu objavljenom u stručnome američkom časopisu, Zborniku radova Nacionalne akademije znanosti (PNAS).

U krvi radnika na kineskoj farmi svinja otkrivena je povišena razina virusa, kažu autori te dodaju da je iznimno važno "izbliza pratiti razvoj događaja među ljudskom populacijom, posebice među radnicima u svinjogojstvu".

Novootkriveni virus je rekombinacija varijante H1N1 iz 2009. i nekoć prevladavajućeg soja koji je otkriven među svinjama.
Premda je virus u stanju zaraziti i ljude, nema neposredne opasnosti od izbijanja nove pandemije, rekao je Carl Bergstrom, biolog sa Sveučilišta u Washingtonu.

"Nema dokaza da 'G4' kruži među ljudima, unatoč tomu što su mu masovno izloženi već pet godina", tvitao je znanstvenik. "To je ključan podatak koji trebamo imati na umu."

Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) "pažljivo će pročitati" kinesku studiju o novom soju virusa svinjske gripe, rekao je u utorak glasnogovornik i istaknuo da ti nalazi samo naglašavaju važnost sustavnog nadzora u pandemiji covida-19.

Novi virus gripe otkriven među kineskim svinjama zarazniji je za ljude i treba ga pomno pratiti kako ne bi postao potencijalni "pandemijski virus", otkriva studija.

"Pažljivo ćemo pročitati studiju kako bismo vidjeli što je novo", rekao je novinarima glasnogovornik WHO-a Christian Lindmeier i dodao da je važno surađivati na otkrićima i motriti životinjsku populaciju.

"To također ukazuje na to da se ne smijemo opustiti kada je riječ o gripi i da trebamo biti budni te nastaviti i s nadzorom pandemije koronavirusa", dodao je.

Grupa kineskih istraživača proučila je viruse gripe zaraženih svinja od 2011. do 2018. te je otkrila "G4" soj H1N1, koji posjeduje "sve bitne karakteristike potencijalnog pandemijskog virusa", stoji u dokumentu objavljenom u stručnome američkom časopisu, Zborniku radova Nacionalne akademije znanosti (PNAS).

U krvi radnika na kineskoj farmi svinja otkrivena je povišena razina virusa, kažu autori te dodaju da je iznimno važno "izbliza pratiti razvoj događaja među ljudskom populacijom, posebice među radnicima u svinjogojstvu".

Novootkriveni virus je rekombinacija varijante H1N1 iz 2009. i nekoć prevladavajućeg soja koji je otkriven među svinjama.
Premda je virus u stanju zaraziti i ljude, nema neposredne opasnosti od izbijanja nove pandemije, rekao je Carl Bergstrom, biolog sa Sveučilišta u Washingtonu.

"Nema dokaza da 'G4' kruži među ljudima, unatoč tomu što su mu masovno izloženi već pet godina", tvitao je znanstvenik. "To je ključan podatak koji trebamo imati na umu."

Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) "pažljivo će pročitati" kinesku studiju o novom soju virusa svinjske gripe, rekao je u utorak glasnogovornik i istaknuo da ti nalazi samo naglašavaju važnost sustavnog nadzora u pandemiji covida-19.

Novi virus gripe otkriven među kineskim svinjama zarazniji je za ljude i treba ga pomno pratiti kako ne bi postao potencijalni "pandemijski virus", otkriva studija.

"Pažljivo ćemo pročitati studiju kako bismo vidjeli što je novo", rekao je novinarima glasnogovornik WHO-a Christian Lindmeier i dodao da je važno surađivati na otkrićima i motriti životinjsku populaciju.

"To također ukazuje na to da se ne smijemo opustiti kada je riječ o gripi i da trebamo biti budni te nastaviti i s nadzorom pandemije koronavirusa", dodao je.
