Talibanske snage održale su u nedjelju vojnu paradu u Kabulu koristeći zaplijenjena američka oklopna vozila i ruske helikoptere u paradi kojom su demonstrirali svoju preobrazbu iz pobunjeničke sile u regularnu vojsku.

Talibani su dva desetljeća djelovali kao pobunjenički borci, no iskoristili su velike zalihe oružja i opreme koje su ostale kad je u kolovozu pala bivša prozapadna vlada.

Paradom je obilježen kraj obuke 250 vojnika, rekao je glasnogovornik ministarstva obrane Enayatullah Khwarazmi.

Deseci američkih oklopnih sigurnosnih vozila M117 polako su prolazili glavnom kabulskom cestom, dok su iznad njih letjeli ruski helikopteri MI-17. Brojni vojnici nosili su američke jurišne puške M4.

Veći dio naoružanja i opreme koje sada koriste talibanske snage Washington je slao vladi u Kabulu koju je podupirao SAD u pokušaju stvaranja afganistanske nacionalne vojske koja će se moći boriti s talibanima.

Te snage su se raspale s bijegom afganistanskog predsjednika Ashrafa Ghanija iz Afganistana, zbog čega su talibani preuzeli veći dio vojne infrastrukture.

Talibanski dužnosnici su rekli da će piloti, mehaničari i drugi stručnjaci iz bivše afganistanske nacionalne vojske biti integrirani u nove snage, koje su također počele nositi konvencionalne vojne uniforme umjesto tradicionalne afganistanske odjeće koju uobičajeno nose njihovi borci.

Prema prošlogodišnjem izvješću posebnog inspektora za ponovnu izgradnju Afganistana, Washington je afganistanskoj vladi isporučio više od 28 milijardi vrijednih obrambenih predmeta i usluga, uključujući oružje, streljivo, vozila, uređaje za noćni nadzor, letjelice i nadzorne sustave, od 2002. do 2017. godine.

Neke od letjelica završile su u srednjoazijskim zemljama kada su ondje pobjegli afganistanski vojnici, no dio je ostao talibanima. No, nejasno je koliko od tih letjelica je operabilno.

Kad je američka vojska odlazila, uništila je više od 70 letjelica i desetke oklopnih vozila te onesposobila protuzračnu obranu prije nego što je otišla s kabulskog aerodroma Hamid Karzai nakon kaotične evakuacije.

Talibanske snage održale su u nedjelju vojnu paradu u Kabulu koristeći zaplijenjena američka oklopna vozila i ruske helikoptere u paradi kojom su demonstrirali svoju preobrazbu iz pobunjeničke sile u regularnu vojsku.

Talibani su dva desetljeća djelovali kao pobunjenički borci, no iskoristili su velike zalihe oružja i opreme koje su ostale kad je u kolovozu pala bivša prozapadna vlada.

Paradom je obilježen kraj obuke 250 vojnika, rekao je glasnogovornik ministarstva obrane Enayatullah Khwarazmi.

Deseci američkih oklopnih sigurnosnih vozila M117 polako su prolazili glavnom kabulskom cestom, dok su iznad njih letjeli ruski helikopteri MI-17. Brojni vojnici nosili su američke jurišne puške M4.

Veći dio naoružanja i opreme koje sada koriste talibanske snage Washington je slao vladi u Kabulu koju je podupirao SAD u pokušaju stvaranja afganistanske nacionalne vojske koja će se moći boriti s talibanima.

Te snage su se raspale s bijegom afganistanskog predsjednika Ashrafa Ghanija iz Afganistana, zbog čega su talibani preuzeli veći dio vojne infrastrukture.

Talibanski dužnosnici su rekli da će piloti, mehaničari i drugi stručnjaci iz bivše afganistanske nacionalne vojske biti integrirani u nove snage, koje su također počele nositi konvencionalne vojne uniforme umjesto tradicionalne afganistanske odjeće koju uobičajeno nose njihovi borci.

Prema prošlogodišnjem izvješću posebnog inspektora za ponovnu izgradnju Afganistana, Washington je afganistanskoj vladi isporučio više od 28 milijardi vrijednih obrambenih predmeta i usluga, uključujući oružje, streljivo, vozila, uređaje za noćni nadzor, letjelice i nadzorne sustave, od 2002. do 2017. godine.

Neke od letjelica završile su u srednjoazijskim zemljama kada su ondje pobjegli afganistanski vojnici, no dio je ostao talibanima. No, nejasno je koliko od tih letjelica je operabilno.

Kad je američka vojska odlazila, uništila je više od 70 letjelica i desetke oklopnih vozila te onesposobila protuzračnu obranu prije nego što je otišla s kabulskog aerodroma Hamid Karzai nakon kaotične evakuacije.

Talibanske snage održale su u nedjelju vojnu paradu u Kabulu koristeći zaplijenjena američka oklopna vozila i ruske helikoptere u paradi kojom su demonstrirali svoju preobrazbu iz pobunjeničke sile u regularnu vojsku.

Talibani su dva desetljeća djelovali kao pobunjenički borci, no iskoristili su velike zalihe oružja i opreme koje su ostale kad je u kolovozu pala bivša prozapadna vlada.

Paradom je obilježen kraj obuke 250 vojnika, rekao je glasnogovornik ministarstva obrane Enayatullah Khwarazmi.

Deseci američkih oklopnih sigurnosnih vozila M117 polako su prolazili glavnom kabulskom cestom, dok su iznad njih letjeli ruski helikopteri MI-17. Brojni vojnici nosili su američke jurišne puške M4.
