Stigli su rezultati DNK testiranja Julije Wendell iz Poljske, koja je vjerovala da bi upravo ona mogla biti Madeleine McCann, djevojčica nestala 2007. u portugalskom Algarveu. DNK analiza je pokazala da ona ipak nije nestala Maddie. Analiza je pokazala da nije britanskog podrijetla, već je Poljakinja, s rumunjskim i litavskim nasljeđem, javlja Daily mail.
Ta se 21-godišnjakinja pojavila čak i u emisiji Dr. Phil tvrdeći da je posumnjala da je upravo ona Maddie prošlog ljeta. Njezini roditelji su odmah rekli da je sve izmislila i da je očito da ona nije nestala britanska djevojčica.
‘Ona je sto posto iz Poljske‘
Wendell je svoje tvrdnje temeljila na sličnostima u izgledu s Maddie, a kao dokaz navodi pjegicu na nozi i mrlju u oku na istim mjestima kao i kod nestale djevojčice.
Svoju je priču ispričala na društvenim mrežama. Skupila je 194 tisuća pratitelja, ali nije prva osoba koja je na društvenim mrežama tvrdila da je zapravo nestala djevojčica.
DNK analiza je pokazala da je Wendell doista Poljakinja, kako su od početka tvrdili njezini roditelji, no ima i ponešto rumunjskog i litavskog nasljeđa.
- Ona je apsolutno 100 posto iz Poljske, rekla je dr. Fia Johansson, privatna istražiteljica koja je djevojci u dosadašnjoj istrazi pomagala, a pomogla joj je i da se preseli iz Poljske u SAD nakon što je primila prijetnje smrću.
- Ova je priča puno kompliciranija od jednostavne djevojke iz malog grada koja nešto govori samo kako bi privukla pozornost. Uistinu je vjerovala u ono što je govorila, kaže Johansson i dodaje da se Wendell, nakon što je saznala da nije Madeleine McCann, odlučila vratiti u Poljsku kako bi bila s ocem. Njezina obitelj to još nije potvrdila.
Podsjetimo, Wendell je dugo tvrdila da se ne može sjetiti velikog dijela svog djetinjstva i da nije sigurna u svoju dob jer nikad nije vidjela svoj rodni list, što su njezini roditelji opovrgnuli. Naime, Maddie bi sada imala 19 godina, a Julia ima 21.
- Moja najranija sjećanja su ona o odmoru na vrućem mjestu gdje ima plaža i bijelih zgrada sa stanovima. Ne sjećam se svoje obitelji, pričala je.
Njezina obitelj iz Poljske od početka govori da je Julia njihovo biološko dijete i poriču njezine navode, piše Jutarnji list.
- Za nas kao obitelj očito je da je Julia naša kći, unuka, sestra, nećakinja, sestrična. Imamo uspomene, imamo fotografije. I Julia ima te fotografije, sama ih je ponijela iz obiteljske kuće s rodnim listom, kao i brojna otpusna pisma iz bolnice. Uvijek smo pokušavali razumjeti sve situacije koje su se događale s Julijom: prijetnje, njezine laži i manipulacije, aktivnosti na internetu. Internet neće zaboraviti, a očito je da Julia nije Maddie. Očajni smo zbog trenutačne situacije, ispričala je Julijina obitelj.
Istraga i dalje traje
Policija će, inače, za istragu nestanka Madeleine McCann i ove godine od Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova dobiti stotine tisuća funti novih sredstava u nastojanju da konačno otkrije što joj se dogodilo. Postojao je strah da bi sredstva za ovu istragu mogla biti smanjena zbog proračunskih rezova.
Madeleine, tada trogodišnjakinja, nestala je dok je bila na odmoru sa svojom obitelji u Praia da Luz u Portugalu u svibnju 2007. godine. Od tada se svake godine potroši stotine tisuća funti na njenu potragu, a od 2011. potrošeno je ukupno 13 milijuna funti.
Maddie je nestala iz kreveta u vili za odmor dok su njezini roditelji Gerry i Kate iz Rothleyja u Leicestershireu večerali s prijateljima u obližnjem restoranu udaljenom samo 55 metara. Kate je u 22 sata provjerila djecu i ustanovila da je Maddie nestala, a blizanci su i dalje mirno spavali u krevetu.
Ove je godine šesnaesta godišnjica njena nestanka.

Stigli su rezultati DNK testiranja Julije Wendell iz Poljske, koja je vjerovala da bi upravo ona mogla biti Madeleine McCann, djevojčica nestala 2007. u portugalskom Algarveu. DNK analiza je pokazala da ona ipak nije nestala Maddie. Analiza je pokazala da nije britanskog podrijetla, već je Poljakinja, s rumunjskim i litavskim nasljeđem, javlja Daily mail.
Ta se 21-godišnjakinja pojavila čak i u emisiji Dr. Phil tvrdeći da je posumnjala da je upravo ona Maddie prošlog ljeta. Njezini roditelji su odmah rekli da je sve izmislila i da je očito da ona nije nestala britanska djevojčica.
‘Ona je sto posto iz Poljske‘
Wendell je svoje tvrdnje temeljila na sličnostima u izgledu s Maddie, a kao dokaz navodi pjegicu na nozi i mrlju u oku na istim mjestima kao i kod nestale djevojčice.
Svoju je priču ispričala na društvenim mrežama. Skupila je 194 tisuća pratitelja, ali nije prva osoba koja je na društvenim mrežama tvrdila da je zapravo nestala djevojčica.
DNK analiza je pokazala da je Wendell doista Poljakinja, kako su od početka tvrdili njezini roditelji, no ima i ponešto rumunjskog i litavskog nasljeđa.
- Ona je apsolutno 100 posto iz Poljske, rekla je dr. Fia Johansson, privatna istražiteljica koja je djevojci u dosadašnjoj istrazi pomagala, a pomogla joj je i da se preseli iz Poljske u SAD nakon što je primila prijetnje smrću.
- Ova je priča puno kompliciranija od jednostavne djevojke iz malog grada koja nešto govori samo kako bi privukla pozornost. Uistinu je vjerovala u ono što je govorila, kaže Johansson i dodaje da se Wendell, nakon što je saznala da nije Madeleine McCann, odlučila vratiti u Poljsku kako bi bila s ocem. Njezina obitelj to još nije potvrdila.
Podsjetimo, Wendell je dugo tvrdila da se ne može sjetiti velikog dijela svog djetinjstva i da nije sigurna u svoju dob jer nikad nije vidjela svoj rodni list, što su njezini roditelji opovrgnuli. Naime, Maddie bi sada imala 19 godina, a Julia ima 21.
- Moja najranija sjećanja su ona o odmoru na vrućem mjestu gdje ima plaža i bijelih zgrada sa stanovima. Ne sjećam se svoje obitelji, pričala je.
Njezina obitelj iz Poljske od početka govori da je Julia njihovo biološko dijete i poriču njezine navode, piše Jutarnji list.
- Za nas kao obitelj očito je da je Julia naša kći, unuka, sestra, nećakinja, sestrična. Imamo uspomene, imamo fotografije. I Julia ima te fotografije, sama ih je ponijela iz obiteljske kuće s rodnim listom, kao i brojna otpusna pisma iz bolnice. Uvijek smo pokušavali razumjeti sve situacije koje su se događale s Julijom: prijetnje, njezine laži i manipulacije, aktivnosti na internetu. Internet neće zaboraviti, a očito je da Julia nije Maddie. Očajni smo zbog trenutačne situacije, ispričala je Julijina obitelj.
Istraga i dalje traje
Policija će, inače, za istragu nestanka Madeleine McCann i ove godine od Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova dobiti stotine tisuća funti novih sredstava u nastojanju da konačno otkrije što joj se dogodilo. Postojao je strah da bi sredstva za ovu istragu mogla biti smanjena zbog proračunskih rezova.
Madeleine, tada trogodišnjakinja, nestala je dok je bila na odmoru sa svojom obitelji u Praia da Luz u Portugalu u svibnju 2007. godine. Od tada se svake godine potroši stotine tisuća funti na njenu potragu, a od 2011. potrošeno je ukupno 13 milijuna funti.
Maddie je nestala iz kreveta u vili za odmor dok su njezini roditelji Gerry i Kate iz Rothleyja u Leicestershireu večerali s prijateljima u obližnjem restoranu udaljenom samo 55 metara. Kate je u 22 sata provjerila djecu i ustanovila da je Maddie nestala, a blizanci su i dalje mirno spavali u krevetu.
Ove je godine šesnaesta godišnjica njena nestanka.
