Američki potpredsjednik Mike Pence (na slici) je za vođenje posla u javnoj službi, kao guverner Indiane, koristio privatnu elektroničku poštu, potvrdili su iz njegovog ureda čije priopćenje u petak prenose agencije.

O korištenju privatnog e-mail prvi je izvijestio Indianapolis Star, koji piše da ga je Pence povremeno koristio i za rasprave o osjetljivim stvarima te pitanjima vezana uz domovinsku sigurnost. Prema istom izvoru, Penceov privatni e-mail 'hakiran' je prošlo ljeto.

"Slično kao i prethodni guverneri, tijekom obnašanja dužnosti guvernera Indiane, Mike Pence je imao i državni i osobni e-mail račun", stoji u priopćenju njegova ureda.

Indianapolis Star podsjeća da prema zakonu savezne države Indiane, javnim dužnosnicima se ne zabranjuje korištenje osobne elektroničke pošte. 

Prošle godine je jedan prevarant 'hakirao' Penceov osobni email te njegovim kontaktima poslao poruku sa zahtjevom da mu se pošalje novac na Filipine gdje je "zapeo sa svojom suprugom". Guverner je tada, piše list, otvorio novi AOL račun.

Tijekom predsjedničke kampanje 2016., Pence je kritizirao demokratsku kandidatkinju Hillary Clinton zbog korištenja privatnog e-maila u razdoblju obnašanja dužnosti državne tajnice, tvrdeći da je time ugrozila nacionalnu sigurnost.

Američki potpredsjednik Mike Pence (na slici) je za vođenje posla u javnoj službi, kao guverner Indiane, koristio privatnu elektroničku poštu, potvrdili su iz njegovog ureda čije priopćenje u petak prenose agencije.

O korištenju privatnog e-mail prvi je izvijestio Indianapolis Star, koji piše da ga je Pence povremeno koristio i za rasprave o osjetljivim stvarima te pitanjima vezana uz domovinsku sigurnost. Prema istom izvoru, Penceov privatni e-mail 'hakiran' je prošlo ljeto.

"Slično kao i prethodni guverneri, tijekom obnašanja dužnosti guvernera Indiane, Mike Pence je imao i državni i osobni e-mail račun", stoji u priopćenju njegova ureda.

Indianapolis Star podsjeća da prema zakonu savezne države Indiane, javnim dužnosnicima se ne zabranjuje korištenje osobne elektroničke pošte. 

Prošle godine je jedan prevarant 'hakirao' Penceov osobni email te njegovim kontaktima poslao poruku sa zahtjevom da mu se pošalje novac na Filipine gdje je "zapeo sa svojom suprugom". Guverner je tada, piše list, otvorio novi AOL račun.

Tijekom predsjedničke kampanje 2016., Pence je kritizirao demokratsku kandidatkinju Hillary Clinton zbog korištenja privatnog e-maila u razdoblju obnašanja dužnosti državne tajnice, tvrdeći da je time ugrozila nacionalnu sigurnost.
