Crnogorsko tužiteljstvo odredilo je u srijedu 72-satni pritvor episkopu Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikiju i još sedam svećenika zbog molitvene šetnje koja je okupila nekoliko tisuća vjernika. Svećenici su privedeni jer su prekršili mjeru zabrane okupljanja koju je donijela crnogorska vlada zbog epidemije koronavirusa.

Zbog njihova privođenja reagirao je politički vrh Srbije kao i patrijarh Srpske pravoslavne crkve Irinej, koji traže da se episkop i ostali svećenici odmah puste na slobodu.

Dok su svećenici SPC-a sinoć davali izjave u policijskoj postaji u Nikšiću, ispred zgrade se okupilo nekoliko stotina građana koji su pjevali crkvene pjesme i pjesme o Kosovu, uz skandiranje: "Ne damo svetinje" i "Ne damo vladiku". Crnogorskoj policiji vikali su i: "Ustaše! Ustaše!"

Predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić u zajedničkom priopćenju sa patrijarhom srpskim Irinejom danas je „izrazio veliku zabrinutost zbog hapšenja vladike Joanikija i svećenika SPC-a“. Naveli su također kako očekuju da će „narod postupati mirno i pribrano“ u "ovim trenucima u kojima nitko razuman ne priželjkuje bilo kakve nemire i sukobe".

Episkop Joanikije jedan je od najbližih suradnika mitropolita SPC u Crnoj Gori Amfilohija, a njih dvojica predvodili su tradicionalnu litiju ulicama Nikšića povodom dana Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog, kojoj je prisustvovalo nekoliko tisuća vjernika. Molitva se, prema riječima mitropolita SPC, trebala održati u crkvi, no kada su vidjeli koliko se vjernika okupilo "nisu se mogli odreći šetnje".

Crnogorski državni tužitelj Ivica Stanković poručio je svima „koji svjesno krše mjere i naredbe nadležnih organa da će izazvati odlučnu reakciju tužiteljstva“.

Kao što je poznato mitropolit je otvorenom ratu s Milom Đukanovićem još od referenduma o odcjepljenju Crne Gore od Srbije, a sukob se dodatno rasplamsao nakon što je crnogorska Vlada predložila Zakon o slobodi vjeroispovijesti koji dovodi u pitanje vlasništvo Srpske pravoslavne crkve (SPC) nad vjerskim objektima. Cilj operacije je bio otvaranje prostora za djelovanje Crnogorske pravoslavne crkve.

SPC u Crnoj Gori predvođen mitropolitom Amfilohijem od početka 2020. dvaput tjedno je organizirao prosvjedne šetnje tražeći povlačenje Zakona. Prosvjedi pod nazivom "Ne damo svetinje“ prekinuti su nakon što je Vlada donijela prve mjere zaštite od epidemije koronavirusa. Tada su najavili da će se šetnje nastaviti nakon što se situacija normalizira.

Mitropolit Amfilohije izjavio je danas da litije za „obranu svetinja u Crnoj Gori nisu bile ni njegove ni vladike Joanikija, niti bilo koga drugoga, već litije Svetog Vasilija“.

- Ako bude obnove litija, a biće ih ukoliko se bezakonje ne ukloni, narod će se ponovo pobuniti. U kontaktu smo sa državnim predstavnicima i nadam se da će kod njih preovladati shvaćanje da je donjeti Zakon upravo bezakonje, da on razara duh bratoljublja i bogoljublja u Crnoj Gori - izjavio je mitropolit za srpske medije.

Crnogorsko tužiteljstvo odredilo je u srijedu 72-satni pritvor episkopu Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikiju i još sedam svećenika zbog molitvene šetnje koja je okupila nekoliko tisuća vjernika. Svećenici su privedeni jer su prekršili mjeru zabrane okupljanja koju je donijela crnogorska vlada zbog epidemije koronavirusa.

Zbog njihova privođenja reagirao je politički vrh Srbije kao i patrijarh Srpske pravoslavne crkve Irinej, koji traže da se episkop i ostali svećenici odmah puste na slobodu.

Dok su svećenici SPC-a sinoć davali izjave u policijskoj postaji u Nikšiću, ispred zgrade se okupilo nekoliko stotina građana koji su pjevali crkvene pjesme i pjesme o Kosovu, uz skandiranje: "Ne damo svetinje" i "Ne damo vladiku". Crnogorskoj policiji vikali su i: "Ustaše! Ustaše!"

Predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić u zajedničkom priopćenju sa patrijarhom srpskim Irinejom danas je „izrazio veliku zabrinutost zbog hapšenja vladike Joanikija i svećenika SPC-a“. Naveli su također kako očekuju da će „narod postupati mirno i pribrano“ u "ovim trenucima u kojima nitko razuman ne priželjkuje bilo kakve nemire i sukobe".

Episkop Joanikije jedan je od najbližih suradnika mitropolita SPC u Crnoj Gori Amfilohija, a njih dvojica predvodili su tradicionalnu litiju ulicama Nikšića povodom dana Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog, kojoj je prisustvovalo nekoliko tisuća vjernika. Molitva se, prema riječima mitropolita SPC, trebala održati u crkvi, no kada su vidjeli koliko se vjernika okupilo "nisu se mogli odreći šetnje".

Crnogorski državni tužitelj Ivica Stanković poručio je svima „koji svjesno krše mjere i naredbe nadležnih organa da će izazvati odlučnu reakciju tužiteljstva“.

Kao što je poznato mitropolit je otvorenom ratu s Milom Đukanovićem još od referenduma o odcjepljenju Crne Gore od Srbije, a sukob se dodatno rasplamsao nakon što je crnogorska Vlada predložila Zakon o slobodi vjeroispovijesti koji dovodi u pitanje vlasništvo Srpske pravoslavne crkve (SPC) nad vjerskim objektima. Cilj operacije je bio otvaranje prostora za djelovanje Crnogorske pravoslavne crkve.

SPC u Crnoj Gori predvođen mitropolitom Amfilohijem od početka 2020. dvaput tjedno je organizirao prosvjedne šetnje tražeći povlačenje Zakona. Prosvjedi pod nazivom "Ne damo svetinje“ prekinuti su nakon što je Vlada donijela prve mjere zaštite od epidemije koronavirusa. Tada su najavili da će se šetnje nastaviti nakon što se situacija normalizira.

Mitropolit Amfilohije izjavio je danas da litije za „obranu svetinja u Crnoj Gori nisu bile ni njegove ni vladike Joanikija, niti bilo koga drugoga, već litije Svetog Vasilija“.

- Ako bude obnove litija, a biće ih ukoliko se bezakonje ne ukloni, narod će se ponovo pobuniti. U kontaktu smo sa državnim predstavnicima i nadam se da će kod njih preovladati shvaćanje da je donjeti Zakon upravo bezakonje, da on razara duh bratoljublja i bogoljublja u Crnoj Gori - izjavio je mitropolit za srpske medije.

Crnogorsko tužiteljstvo odredilo je u srijedu 72-satni pritvor episkopu Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikiju i još sedam svećenika zbog molitvene šetnje koja je okupila nekoliko tisuća vjernika. Svećenici su privedeni jer su prekršili mjeru zabrane okupljanja koju je donijela crnogorska vlada zbog epidemije koronavirusa.

Zbog njihova privođenja reagirao je politički vrh Srbije kao i patrijarh Srpske pravoslavne crkve Irinej, koji traže da se episkop i ostali svećenici odmah puste na slobodu.

Dok su svećenici SPC-a sinoć davali izjave u policijskoj postaji u Nikšiću, ispred zgrade se okupilo nekoliko stotina građana koji su pjevali crkvene pjesme i pjesme o Kosovu, uz skandiranje: "Ne damo svetinje" i "Ne damo vladiku". Crnogorskoj policiji vikali su i: "Ustaše!...
