Ministri članica skupine G20 odgovorni za klimu, energiju i okoliš nisu se u petak na sastanku u Napulju uspjeli dogovoriti o ambicioznijim ciljevima u provedbi Pariškog sporazuma .

Nekoliko zemalja u zajedničkoj završnoj deklaraciji nije željelo prihvatiti obvezu zadržavanja globalnog zatopljenja ispod 1,5 stupnjeva Celzija, rekao je talijanski ministar za ekološku tranziciju Roberto Cingolani nakon završetka sastanka.

Umjesto toga, zemlje su se samo obvezale na raniji cilj Pariškog sporazuma da globalno zatopljenje zadrži znatno ispod 2 stupnja i nastave napore na njegovom smanjenju na 1,5 stupnjeva, navodi se u deklaraciji.

Zemlja se već zagrijala za oko 1,2 stupnja u usporedbi s predindustrijskim vremenima, uz kobne klimatske posljedice.

Ovisno o regiji, bilježe se ozbiljniji događaji povezani s klimom, uključujući vrućine, sušu, obilne kiše, nevremena i poplave.

Dvodnevni sastanak poslužio je za pripremu summita čelnika G20 u Rimu krajem listopada. Skupina od 20 ekonomski moćnih zemalja ima članice na svim kontinentima, a uključuje SAD, Kinu, Rusiju i Njemačku.

UN-ova šefica za klimu Patricia Espinosa upozorila je da je G20 odgovoran za 80 posto svih globalnih emisija. Pozvala je zemlje na globalnoj klimatskoj konferenciji COP26, planiranoj za studeni, Glasgowu da pokažu odlučnost da uspiju obuzdati zatopljenje.

Talijanski ministar Cingolani rekao je ranije novinarima da se ministri G20 nisu mogli složiti oko dva sporna pitanja i dodao da su se pregovori s Kinom, Rusijom i Indijom pokazali posebno teškima.

Ministri članica skupine G20 odgovorni za klimu, energiju i okoliš nisu se u petak na sastanku u Napulju uspjeli dogovoriti o ambicioznijim ciljevima u provedbi Pariškog sporazuma .

Nekoliko zemalja u zajedničkoj završnoj deklaraciji nije željelo prihvatiti obvezu zadržavanja globalnog zatopljenja ispod 1,5 stupnjeva Celzija, rekao je talijanski ministar za ekološku tranziciju Roberto Cingolani nakon završetka sastanka.

Umjesto toga, zemlje su se samo obvezale na raniji cilj Pariškog sporazuma da globalno zatopljenje zadrži znatno ispod 2 stupnja i nastave napore na njegovom smanjenju na 1,5 stupnjeva, navodi se u deklaraciji.

Zemlja se već zagrijala za oko 1,2 stupnja u usporedbi s predindustrijskim vremenima, uz kobne klimatske posljedice.

Ovisno o regiji, bilježe se ozbiljniji događaji povezani s klimom, uključujući vrućine, sušu, obilne kiše, nevremena i poplave.

Dvodnevni sastanak poslužio je za pripremu summita čelnika G20 u Rimu krajem listopada. Skupina od 20 ekonomski moćnih zemalja ima članice na svim kontinentima, a uključuje SAD, Kinu, Rusiju i Njemačku.

UN-ova šefica za klimu Patricia Espinosa upozorila je da je G20 odgovoran za 80 posto svih globalnih emisija. Pozvala je zemlje na globalnoj klimatskoj konferenciji COP26, planiranoj za studeni, Glasgowu da pokažu odlučnost da uspiju obuzdati zatopljenje.

Talijanski ministar Cingolani rekao je ranije novinarima da se ministri G20 nisu mogli složiti oko dva sporna pitanja i dodao da su se pregovori s Kinom, Rusijom i Indijom pokazali posebno teškima.

Može li klima čekati? Ministri G20 nakon sastanka ostali bez konkretnog dogovora oko provođenja Pariškog sporazuma

Ministri članica skupine G20 odgovorni za klimu, energiju i okoliš nisu se u petak na sastanku u Napulju uspjeli dogovoriti o ambicioznijim ciljevima u provedbi Pariškog sporazuma .

Nekoliko zemalja u zajedničkoj završnoj deklaraciji nije željelo prihvatiti obvezu zadržavanja globalnog zatopljenja ispod 1,5 stupnjeva Celzija, rekao je talijanski ministar za ekološku tranziciju Roberto Cingolani nakon završetka sastanka.

Umjesto toga, zemlje su se samo obvezale na raniji cilj Pariškog sporazuma da globalno zatopljenje zadrži znatno ispod 2 stupnja i nastave napore na njegovom smanjenju na 1,5 stupnjeva, navodi se u deklaraciji.

Zemlja se već zagrijala za oko 1,2 stupnja u usporedbi s predindustrijskim vremenima, uz kobne klimatske posljedice.
