Kad se vratila u Teheran, Elnaz Rekabi (33), iransku sportsku penjačicu koja je sudjelovala bez hidžaba na azijskom prvenstvu u penjanju u Južnoj Koreji, navijači su dočekali kao heroinu. Ona je prekršila strogi iranski kodeks odijevanja no, kasnije je rekla da hidžab nije stavila slučajno. "Nenošenje hidžaba na natjecanju u Južnoj Koreji nije bilo namjerno, radilo se o lošoj odluci. Nisam očekivala da će me pozvati na penjanje", rekla je Rekabi.

BBC piše kako je njezina isprika bila iznuđena.

Rekabi je u natjecanju sudjelovala bez hidžaba samo u dresu u bojama Irana i s trakom u kosi što je protumačeno kao gesta solidarnosti s velikim prosvjedima koje je izazvala smrt kurdske Iranke Mahse Amini (22). Potez Elnaz Rekabi privukao je ogromnu pozornost svjetske javnosti, no uskoro se na društvenim mrežama pojavila snimka na kojoj se može vidjeti njezin uplakani brat Davood Rekabi kako stoji ispred urušene kuće s razbacanim medaljama po tlu.

Mnogi su taj potez protumačili kao osvetu režima jer iranska sportašica nije nosila hidžab na natjecanju.

Pojavila se u istoj odjeći 

Kad je veliko mnoštvo dočekalo sportašicu u teheranskoj zračnoj luci nazivajući je heroinom ona je tamo stigla također bez marame, a kosu je prekrila crnom šiltericom i kapuljačom od trenirke. Sljedeći se dan susrela s iranskim ministrom sporta u istoj odjeći kao u zračnoj luci što je izazvalo sumnju da joj nije bilo dopušteno otići kući. Izvor BBC-a tvrdi kako je sportašica bila zatočena u zgradi iranskog Nacionalnog olimpijskog odbora s agentima u civilu dok se nije sastala s ministrom. Isti izvor tvrdi kako su joj vlasti zaprijetile da će uzeti imovinu njezine obitelji ako ne da izjavu da se slučajno penjala bez hidžaba.

BBC također piše kako nije posve jasno kada je snimka srušene kuće nastala. Novinska agencija Tasnim potvrdila je da je kuća srušena, ali navodno zbog toga što obitelj nije imala važeće dozvole za njezinu izgradnju. Tvrde da se sve dogodilo prije odlaska na natjecanje u Južnu Koreju.

Za vikend je pak iz Irana stigla ohrabrujuća vijest da će preispitati zakon koji od žena zahtijeva pokrivanje glave. Iranska ćudoredna policija, uglavnom odgovorna za provođenje kodeksa odijevanja žena, raspuštena je, objavio je u nedjelju glavni državni odvjetnik.

Prosvjedi su preplavili Iran nakon što je 16. rujna u pritvoru umrla Mahse Amini, Iranka kurdskog podrijetla koju je ćudoredna policija uhitila zbog kršenja tog šerijatskog zakona. Prosvjednici su palili pokrivala za glavu i uzvikivali protuvladine parole. Od smrti Amini sve veći broj žena ne nosi hidžab, posebno u modernijem sjevernom dijelu Teherana.

"I parlament i pravosuđe rade na pitanju treba li zakon izmijeniti, izjavio je državni odvjetnik Mohamad Džafar Montazeri. On, prema novinskoj agenciji ISNA, nije precizirao što bi se u zakonu moglo promijeniti odlukom ta dva tijela, koja su u većinskim rukama konzervativaca. "Tim za reviziju sastao se s parlamentarnom komisijom za kulturu i rezultati se očekuju za tjedan ili dva, rekao je glavni državni odvjetnik.

Kad se vratila u Teheran, Elnaz Rekabi (33), iransku sportsku penjačicu koja je sudjelovala bez hidžaba na azijskom prvenstvu u penjanju u Južnoj Koreji, navijači su dočekali kao heroinu. Ona je prekršila strogi iranski kodeks odijevanja no, kasnije je rekla da hidžab nije stavila slučajno. "Nenošenje hidžaba na natjecanju u Južnoj Koreji nije bilo namjerno, radilo se o lošoj odluci. Nisam očekivala da će me pozvati na penjanje", rekla je Rekabi.

BBC piše kako je njezina isprika bila iznuđena.

Rekabi je u natjecanju sudjelovala bez hidžaba samo u dresu u bojama Irana i s trakom u kosi što je protumačeno kao gesta solidarnosti s velikim prosvjedima koje je izazvala smrt kurdske Iranke Mahse Amini (22). Potez Elnaz Rekabi privukao je ogromnu pozornost svjetske javnosti, no uskoro se na društvenim mrežama pojavila snimka na kojoj se može vidjeti njezin uplakani brat Davood Rekabi kako stoji ispred urušene kuće s razbacanim medaljama po tlu.

Mnogi su taj potez protumačili kao osvetu režima jer iranska sportašica nije nosila hidžab na natjecanju.

Pojavila se u istoj odjeći 

Kad je veliko mnoštvo dočekalo sportašicu u teheranskoj zračnoj luci nazivajući je heroinom ona je tamo stigla također bez marame, a kosu je prekrila crnom šiltericom i kapuljačom od trenirke. Sljedeći se dan susrela s iranskim ministrom sporta u istoj odjeći kao u zračnoj luci što je izazvalo sumnju da joj nije bilo dopušteno otići kući. Izvor BBC-a tvrdi kako je sportašica bila zatočena u zgradi iranskog Nacionalnog olimpijskog odbora s agentima u civilu dok se nije sastala s ministrom. Isti izvor tvrdi kako su joj vlasti zaprijetile da će uzeti imovinu njezine obitelji ako ne da izjavu da se slučajno penjala bez hidžaba.

BBC također piše kako nije posve jasno kada je snimka srušene kuće nastala. Novinska agencija Tasnim potvrdila je da je kuća srušena, ali navodno zbog toga što obitelj nije imala važeće dozvole za njezinu izgradnju. Tvrde da se sve dogodilo prije odlaska na natjecanje u Južnu Koreju.

Za vikend je pak iz Irana stigla ohrabrujuća vijest da će preispitati zakon koji od žena zahtijeva pokrivanje glave. Iranska ćudoredna policija, uglavnom odgovorna za provođenje kodeksa odijevanja žena, raspuštena je, objavio je u nedjelju glavni državni odvjetnik.

Prosvjedi su preplavili Iran nakon što je 16. rujna u pritvoru umrla Mahse Amini, Iranka kurdskog podrijetla koju je ćudoredna policija uhitila zbog kršenja tog šerijatskog zakona. Prosvjednici su palili pokrivala za glavu i uzvikivali protuvladine parole. Od smrti Amini sve veći broj žena ne nosi hidžab, posebno u modernijem sjevernom dijelu Teherana.

"I parlament i pravosuđe rade na pitanju treba li zakon izmijeniti, izjavio je državni odvjetnik Mohamad Džafar Montazeri. On, prema novinskoj agenciji ISNA, nije precizirao što bi se u zakonu moglo promijeniti odlukom ta dva tijela, koja su u većinskim rukama konzervativaca. "Tim za reviziju sastao se s parlamentarnom komisijom za kulturu i rezultati se očekuju za tjedan ili dva, rekao je glavni državni odvjetnik.
