Ministar obrane Velike Britanije Ben Wallace i ministrica unutarnjih poslova Velike Britanije Priti Patel otkrili su da su zbog rata u Ukrajini bili žrtve telefonskih spački, piše BBC.

Wallace je rekao da ga je nazvala osoba koja se predstavila kao ukrajinski premijer Denis Šmihal. Britanski je ministar okončao poziv nakon što mu je "lažov" postavio nekoliko "zavaravajućih" pitanja. Wallace je incident nazvao "ruskim prljavim trikom" te naredio da ga se odmah istraži, javlja Jutarnji list. 

Patel je također rekla da je ranije ovog tjedna primila lažni poziv. "Jadan pokušaj da nas se razjedini. Uz Ukrajinu smo", ustvrdila je ministrica na Twitteru.

Izvor iz Ministarstva obrane Velike Britanije rekao je za BBC da je spačka koja je priređena Wallaceu zapravo bio "prilično sofisticiran" video poziv koji nije stigao na ministrov mobitel. Izvor je rekao da je poziv Wallaceu naoko stigao s broja koji pripada jednom drugom vladinom tijelu. "To je varku učinilo uvjerljivom", rekao je izvor.

BBC navodi da je Wallace preusmjeren na video poziv koji je realiziran pomoću platforme Microsoft Teams te da je poziv trajao 10 minuta. Poziv je navodno dogovoren nakon što je u britansku vladu stigao email od djelatnika ukrajinske ambasade u Londonu koji je potom proslijeđen Ministarstvu obrane.

BBC-ju je rečeno da je Wallace pričao s nekim tko je tvrdio da je ukrajinski premijer Denis Šmihal te da je iza te osobe bila vidljiva ukrajinska zastava. Osoba je britanskom ministru pitala niz "ludih pitanja".

"Unatoč svim pokušajima ruskih dezinformacija, svijet vidi da istina stoji iza Ukrajine", rekao je Šmihal nakon što je doznao za prevaru.

Izvor iz ministarstva obrane rekao je za BBC da je lažni Šmihal Wallacea pitao kako idu pregovori između Ukrajine i Rusije, a postavio mu je navodno i nekoliko pitanja o Sjevernoatlantskom savezu (NATO). Prevarant je ministra pitao i hoće li Velika Britanija poslati ratne brodove u Crno more te trebali li Ukrajina pribaviti nuklearno oružje. Navodno ga je pitao i treba li Ukrajina odustati od pridruživanja NATO-u i postati neutralna zemlja.

Izvor je rekao da se Wallacea htjelo isprovocirati da kaže nešto neprimjereno te da on nije rekao ništa što nije točno.

Ministar obrane Velike Britanije Ben Wallace i ministrica unutarnjih poslova Velike Britanije Priti Patel otkrili su da su zbog rata u Ukrajini bili žrtve telefonskih spački, piše BBC.

Wallace je rekao da ga je nazvala osoba koja se predstavila kao ukrajinski premijer Denis Šmihal. Britanski je ministar okončao poziv nakon što mu je "lažov" postavio nekoliko "zavaravajućih" pitanja. Wallace je incident nazvao "ruskim prljavim trikom" te naredio da ga se odmah istraži, javlja Jutarnji list. 

Patel je također rekla da je ranije ovog tjedna primila lažni poziv. "Jadan pokušaj da nas se razjedini. Uz Ukrajinu smo", ustvrdila je ministrica na Twitteru.

Izvor iz Ministarstva obrane Velike Britanije rekao je za BBC da je spačka koja je priređena Wallaceu zapravo bio "prilično sofisticiran" video poziv koji nije stigao na ministrov mobitel. Izvor je rekao da je poziv Wallaceu naoko stigao s broja koji pripada jednom drugom vladinom tijelu. "To je varku učinilo uvjerljivom", rekao je izvor.

BBC navodi da je Wallace preusmjeren na video poziv koji je realiziran pomoću platforme Microsoft Teams te da je poziv trajao 10 minuta. Poziv je navodno dogovoren nakon što je u britansku vladu stigao email od djelatnika ukrajinske ambasade u Londonu koji je potom proslijeđen Ministarstvu obrane.

BBC-ju je rečeno da je Wallace pričao s nekim tko je tvrdio da je ukrajinski premijer Denis Šmihal te da je iza te osobe bila vidljiva ukrajinska zastava. Osoba je britanskom ministru pitala niz "ludih pitanja".

"Unatoč svim pokušajima ruskih dezinformacija, svijet vidi da istina stoji iza Ukrajine", rekao je Šmihal nakon što je doznao za prevaru.

Izvor iz ministarstva obrane rekao je za BBC da je lažni Šmihal Wallacea pitao kako idu pregovori između Ukrajine i Rusije, a postavio mu je navodno i nekoliko pitanja o Sjevernoatlantskom savezu (NATO). Prevarant je ministra pitao i hoće li Velika Britanija poslati ratne brodove u Crno more te trebali li Ukrajina pribaviti nuklearno oružje. Navodno ga je pitao i treba li Ukrajina odustati od pridruživanja NATO-u i postati neutralna zemlja.

Izvor je rekao da se Wallacea htjelo isprovocirati da kaže nešto neprimjereno te da on nije rekao ništa što nije točno.

Ministar obrane Velike Britanije Ben Wallace i ministrica unutarnjih poslova Velike Britanije Priti Patel otkrili su da su zbog rata u Ukrajini bili žrtve telefonskih spački, piše BBC.

Wallace je rekao da ga je nazvala osoba koja se predstavila kao ukrajinski premijer Denis Šmihal. Britanski je ministar okončao poziv nakon što mu je "lažov" postavio nekoliko "zavaravajućih" pitanja. Wallace je incident nazvao "ruskim prljavim trikom" te naredio da ga se odmah istraži, javlja Jutarnji list. 

Patel je također rekla da je ranije ovog tjedna primila lažni poziv. "Jadan pokušaj da nas se razjedini. Uz Ukrajinu smo", ustvrdila je ministrica na Twitteru.
