Već prvog dana invazije na Ukrajinu rat je stvorio novu zvijezdu. Turski dron Baykar Bayraktar TB2 preko noći je postao slavan kroz brojne snimke svojih akcija koje je ukrajinska vojska ubrzo počela objavljivati na društvenim mrežama. Dron je dobio i svoju pjesmu, Turska je dobila najbolju moguću reklamu za svoju vojnu industriju, a svijet je dobio uvid u novu vrstu oružja koje će u budućim sukobima imati sve veći značaj - piše Ivan Fischer za Jutarnji list.

Rat u Ukrajini zorno je demonstrirao važnost dronova svih vrsta te je dao na znanje strateškim planerima diljem svijeta da ovu činjenicu moraju uzeti u obzir prilikom dizajniranja, ustroja i opremanja svojih oružanih snaga - svaka vojska trebat će imati dronove integrirane u svoje postrojbe, dronove na operativnoj razini i na razini borbenog teatra, ali i sredstva kojima može svladati neprijateljske dronove, od elektroničkih protumjera do jeftinih protuzračnih rješenja koja mogu odvratiti ovu prijetnju.

Dronovi nisu novo oružje. Pentagon je počeo eksperimentirati s bespilotnim letjelicama još u 80-im godinama prošlog stoljeća. Dok je CIA bila zainteresirana za male, lagane dronove za nadgledanje, Američko ratno zrakoplovstvo htjelo je dronove koji se osim izviđanja mogu koristiti i za napade na kopnene ciljeve. Obje su institucije bile zainteresirane za Amber, lagani dron koji je razvila tvrtka bivšeg glavnog dizajnera Ratnog zrakoplovstva Izraela, Abrahama Karema.

Karemovu tvrtku preuzeo je General Atomics i iz njegovog koncepta razvio dron nazvan Gnat 750, koji je prvi put poletio 1989. godine. CIA ga je namjeravala koristiti na području bivše Jugoslavije tijekom 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, no patio je od brojnih "dječjih bolesti". SAD je Gnatove iskoristio za razvoj sljedeće generacije dronova te je unaprijeđena verzija postala MQ-1 Predator, koji je 90-ih postao sinonim za borbene dronove.

Predator su koristili i CIA i Ratno zrakoplovstvo Sjedinjenih Država, a radilo se o primarno izviđačkoj letjelici koja je mogla preletjeti 740 kilometara do svoje mete i potom kružiti u zraku do 14 sati prije povratka u svoju bazu. Pritom je mogao biti naoružan i s dva AGM-114 Hellfire projektila za precizne udare na kopnene ciljeve.

Nova era ratovanja

Predator se koristio u ratu u Afganistanu, Pakistanu, NATO intervenciji u Bosni i Hercegovini, NATO kampanji zračnih napada na Srbiju, u Iračkom ratu, Jemenu, građanskom ratu u Libiji te intervenciji u Siriji 2014. godine. Osim SAD-a, Predatore su kupili i Turska, Italija, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati i Maroko. Sa sljedećom generacijom napadačkih dronova, MQ-9 Reaper, tehnologija je sasvim sazrijela, a dronovi Predator i Reaper obilježili su mandat američkog predsjednika Baracka Obame, koji ih je koristio prvenstveno za udare u ratu protiv terorizma i Islamske države.

Iako je era dronova tako započela 90-ih, oni su se većinom koristili u asimetričnim sukobima, protiv pojedinaca i malih skupina koje ne raspolažu naprednim sredstvima u arsenalu modernih vojnih snaga. Dronovi su prvi put zasjali u klasičnom, konvencionalnom ratu dviju usporedivih vojnih sila u sukobu između Armenije i Azerbejdžana krajem 2020. godine. Ukrajinski civili, mladići s tehnoloških fakulteta, ubrzo su počeli prilagođavati i civilne, rekreativne dronove za korištenje u vojne svrhe - lakši dronovi mogli su se koristiti za izviđanje i nadgledanje, a malo jači mogli su nositi i po jednu bombu ili minobacačku granatu.

Dronovi su počeli obilježavati rat i s ruske strane kada su se ruske snage počele koristiti iranskim samoubilačkim dronovima Shahed 136. Nebo iznad Ukrajine postalo je premreženo dronovima obaju strana, kao najava nove ere ratovanja - piše Ivan Fischer za Jutarnji list.

Već prvog dana invazije na Ukrajinu rat je stvorio novu zvijezdu. Turski dron Baykar Bayraktar TB2 preko noći je postao slavan kroz brojne snimke svojih akcija koje je ukrajinska vojska ubrzo počela objavljivati na društvenim mrežama. Dron je dobio i svoju pjesmu, Turska je dobila najbolju moguću reklamu za svoju vojnu industriju, a svijet je dobio uvid u novu vrstu oružja koje će u budućim sukobima imati sve veći značaj - piše Ivan Fischer za Jutarnji list.

Rat u Ukrajini zorno je demonstrirao važnost dronova svih vrsta te je dao na znanje strateškim planerima diljem svijeta da ovu činjenicu moraju uzeti u obzir prilikom dizajniranja, ustroja i opremanja svojih oružanih snaga - svaka vojska trebat će imati dronove integrirane u svoje postrojbe, dronove na operativnoj razini i na razini borbenog teatra, ali i sredstva kojima može svladati neprijateljske dronove, od elektroničkih protumjera do jeftinih protuzračnih rješenja koja mogu odvratiti ovu prijetnju.

Dronovi nisu novo oružje. Pentagon je počeo eksperimentirati s bespilotnim letjelicama još u 80-im godinama prošlog stoljeća. Dok je CIA bila zainteresirana za male, lagane dronove za nadgledanje, Američko ratno zrakoplovstvo htjelo je dronove koji se osim izviđanja mogu koristiti i za napade na kopnene ciljeve. Obje su institucije bile zainteresirane za Amber, lagani dron koji je razvila tvrtka bivšeg glavnog dizajnera Ratnog zrakoplovstva Izraela, Abrahama Karema.

Karemovu tvrtku preuzeo je General Atomics i iz njegovog koncepta razvio dron nazvan Gnat 750, koji je prvi put poletio 1989. godine. CIA ga je namjeravala koristiti na području bivše Jugoslavije tijekom 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, no patio je od brojnih "dječjih bolesti". SAD je Gnatove iskoristio za razvoj sljedeće generacije dronova te je unaprijeđena verzija postala MQ-1 Predator, koji je 90-ih postao sinonim za borbene dronove.

Predator su koristili i CIA i Ratno zrakoplovstvo Sjedinjenih Država, a radilo se o primarno izviđačkoj letjelici koja je mogla preletjeti 740 kilometara do svoje mete i potom kružiti u zraku do 14 sati prije povratka u svoju bazu. Pritom je mogao biti naoružan i s dva AGM-114 Hellfire projektila za precizne udare na kopnene ciljeve.

Nova era ratovanja

Predator se koristio u ratu u Afganistanu, Pakistanu, NATO intervenciji u Bosni i Hercegovini, NATO kampanji zračnih napada na Srbiju, u Iračkom ratu, Jemenu, građanskom ratu u Libiji te intervenciji u Siriji 2014. godine. Osim SAD-a, Predatore su kupili i Turska, Italija, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati i Maroko. Sa sljedećom generacijom napadačkih dronova, MQ-9 Reaper, tehnologija je sasvim sazrijela, a dronovi Predator i Reaper obilježili su mandat američkog predsjednika Baracka Obame, koji ih je koristio prvenstveno za udare u ratu protiv terorizma i Islamske države.

Iako je era dronova tako započela 90-ih, oni su se većinom koristili u asimetričnim sukobima, protiv pojedinaca i malih skupina koje ne raspolažu naprednim sredstvima u arsenalu modernih vojnih snaga. Dronovi su prvi put zasjali u klasičnom, konvencionalnom ratu dviju usporedivih vojnih sila u sukobu između Armenije i Azerbejdžana krajem 2020. godine. Ukrajinski civili, mladići s tehnoloških fakulteta, ubrzo su počeli prilagođavati i civilne, rekreativne dronove za korištenje u vojne svrhe - lakši dronovi mogli su se koristiti za izviđanje i nadgledanje, a malo jači mogli su nositi i po jednu bombu ili minobacačku granatu.

Dronovi su počeli obilježavati rat i s ruske strane kada su se ruske snage počele koristiti iranskim samoubilačkim dronovima Shahed 136. Nebo iznad Ukrajine postalo je premreženo dronovima obaju strana, kao najava nove ere ratovanja - piše Ivan Fischer za Jutarnji list.
