Današnji podatak o novom padu broja zaraženih od 31 posto ukazuje kako bi ozbiljnije trebalo otvoriti razgovore o popuštanju pojedinih epidemioloških mjera, piše Jutarnji.

Iako se u situaciji dok u Njemačkoj, koja ima puno manji broj zabilježenih mrtvih na milijun stanovnika od COVID-19 zaraze nego Hrvatska, upravo razgovara o značajnom dodatnom zaoštravanju jako strogih mjera, koje su njemački mediji već nazvali mega-lockdown, ostaje otvoreno pitanje koliko su radikalne epidemiološke mjere doista jamstvo sigurnosti, te možemo li si mi u Hrvatskoj priuštiti mjere kao bogata Njemačka? Povratak mladih sportaša na treninge, čini se, uopće više ne bi trebao ostati sporan, niti otvaranje terasa kafića, ako uz normalni rad shopping centara imamo veliki pad broja slučajeva i, što je najvažnije, novih hospitalizacija.

Vrlo je nejasno što se može dobiti radikalnom epidemiološkom politikom. Ako pogledamo trenutačnu epidemiološku situaciju u Češkoj, Sloveniji i Irskoj, možemo lako uočiti kako te zemlje s vrlo dugim i strogim mjerama i dalje imaju relativno visok broj novih slučajeva na milijuna stanovnika. Češka na 18. siječnja broji 773 slučaja na milijuna, Slovenija 726, a Irska 674 slučaja na milijun. Irska se zbog vrlo strogih mjera donedavno predstavljala kao europski epidemiološki uzor, a sada mnogi stručnjaci pogoršanje epidemiološke situacije u toj zemlji pravdaju kratkotrajnim popuštanjem mjera za blagdane. No, tu ostaje pitanje, što se dobiva s jako strogim mjerama, ako ih ne možete malo relaksirati niti nakon duge provedbe? Isti narativ primjenjuje se i za Češku koja je nakon strelovitog rasta slučajeva i smrti uvela strogi lockdown, malo ga popustila, pa doživjela eksploziju slučajeva.

Ako pogledamo grafikon ispod, možemo vidjeti kako teza o isplativosti strogih mjera nema čvrste temelje.

Dnevni broj novih slučajeva na milijun stanovnika

Ako gledamo epidemiološke podatke Hrvatske, Srbije i Bosne i Hercegovine, vidjet ćemo da su sredinom rujna bile u vrlo sličnim pozicijama po broju novih slučajeva na milijun, kao i Češka, Slovenija i Irska. Taj broj se kod svih spomenutih zemalja kretao od 120 do samo 10 slučajeva na milijun. Od 15. rujna do danas Češka, Irska i Slovenija u prosjeku su imale puno strože mjere, a Slovenija i puni kontinuitet radikalnijih mjera u odnosu na Hrvatsku, BiH i Srbiju. Kako je onda moguće da s 18. siječnjem Srbija bilježi 269 slučajeva na milijun, Hrvatska 170, a BiH samo 60 slučajeva na milijun stanovnika tj. daleko manje slučajeva nego zemlje sa strogim mjerama? I kako je moguće da su se prije nešto više od tjedan dana (na 10. siječnja) Češka, Slovenija i Irska našle na novom vrhuncu slučajeva od 1322 do 975 slučajeva?

Posebno je zanimljiv slučaj BiH, koja je među europskim zemljama s najblažom epidemiološkom politikom, a sada im zaraza praktično jenjava.

Postoje li doista uvjerljivi dokazi da je epidemiološki radikalizam učinkovit ili stvara dojam lažne sigurnosti u iščekivanju cjepiva?

Današnji podatak o novom padu broja zaraženih od 31 posto ukazuje kako bi ozbiljnije trebalo otvoriti razgovore o popuštanju pojedinih epidemioloških mjera, piše Jutarnji.

Iako se u situaciji dok u Njemačkoj, koja ima puno manji broj zabilježenih mrtvih na milijun stanovnika od COVID-19 zaraze nego Hrvatska, upravo razgovara o značajnom dodatnom zaoštravanju jako strogih mjera, koje su njemački mediji već nazvali mega-lockdown, ostaje otvoreno pitanje koliko su radikalne epidemiološke mjere doista jamstvo sigurnosti, te možemo li si mi u Hrvatskoj priuštiti mjere kao bogata Njemačka? Povratak mladih sportaša na treninge, čini se, uopće više ne bi trebao ostati sporan, niti otvaranje terasa kafića, ako uz normalni rad shopping centara imamo veliki pad broja slučajeva i, što je najvažnije, novih hospitalizacija.

Vrlo je nejasno što se može dobiti radikalnom epidemiološkom politikom. Ako pogledamo trenutačnu epidemiološku situaciju u Češkoj, Sloveniji i Irskoj, možemo lako uočiti kako te zemlje s vrlo dugim i strogim mjerama i dalje imaju relativno visok broj novih slučajeva na milijuna stanovnika. Češka na 18. siječnja broji 773 slučaja na milijuna, Slovenija 726, a Irska 674 slučaja na milijun. Irska se zbog vrlo strogih mjera donedavno predstavljala kao europski epidemiološki uzor, a sada mnogi stručnjaci pogoršanje epidemiološke situacije u toj zemlji pravdaju kratkotrajnim popuštanjem mjera za blagdane. No, tu ostaje pitanje, što se dobiva s jako strogim mjerama, ako ih ne možete malo relaksirati niti nakon duge provedbe? Isti narativ primjenjuje se i za Češku koja je nakon strelovitog rasta slučajeva i smrti uvela strogi lockdown, malo ga popustila, pa doživjela eksploziju slučajeva.

Dnevni broj novih slučajeva na milijun stanovnika

Ako gledamo epidemiološke podatke Hrvatske, Srbije i Bosne i Hercegovine, vidjet ćemo da su sredinom rujna bile u vrlo sličnim pozicijama po broju novih slučajeva na milijun, kao i Češka, Slovenija i Irska. Taj broj se kod svih spomenutih zemalja kretao od 120 do samo 10 slučajeva na milijun. Od 15. rujna do danas Češka, Irska i Slovenija u prosjeku su imale puno strože mjere, a Slovenija i puni kontinuitet radikalnijih mjera u odnosu na Hrvatsku, BiH i Srbiju. Kako je onda moguće da s 18. siječnjem Srbija bilježi 269 slučajeva na milijun, Hrvatska 170, a BiH samo 60 slučajeva na milijun stanovnika tj. daleko manje slučajeva nego zemlje sa strogim mjerama? I kako je moguće da su se prije nešto više od tjedan dana (na 10. siječnja) Češka, Slovenija i Irska našle na novom vrhuncu slučajeva od 1322 do 975 slučajeva?

Posebno je zanimljiv slučaj BiH, koja je među europskim zemljama s najblažom epidemiološkom politikom, a sada im zaraza praktično jenjava.

Postoje li doista uvjerljivi dokazi da je epidemiološki radikalizam učinkovit ili stvara dojam lažne sigurnosti u iščekivanju cjepiva?

Današnji podatak o novom padu broja zaraženih od 31 posto ukazuje kako bi ozbiljnije trebalo otvoriti razgovore o popuštanju pojedinih epidemioloških mjera, piše Jutarnji.

Iako se u situaciji dok u Njemačkoj, koja ima puno manji broj zabilježenih mrtvih na milijun stanovnika od COVID-19 zaraze nego Hrvatska, upravo razgovara o značajnom dodatnom zaoštravanju jako strogih mjera, koje su njemački mediji već nazvali mega-lockdown, ostaje otvoreno pitanje koliko su radikalne epidemiološke mjere doista jamstvo sigurnosti, te možemo li si mi u Hrvatskoj priuštiti mjere kao bogata Njemačka? Povratak mladih sportaša na treninge, čini se, uopće više ne bi trebao ostati sporan, niti otvaranje terasa kafića, ako uz normalni rad shopping centara imamo veliki pad broja slučajeva...
