Kako bi se izbjegli mogućnost da u isto vrijeme obolite od COVID-a i gripe, jer čak i kod ljudi koji su u punom zdravlju kombinacija tih dviju bolesti ne bi imala lagan tijek, liječnici savjetuju svakako cijepljenje protiv gripe.

Ove godine, kako nam potvrđuje prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, epidemiolog i član Vladina Znanstvenog savjeta za koronavirus, cijepljenje protiv gripe počet će ranije nego inače.

- Prijašnjih godina obično bi cijepljenje protiv gripe startalo početkom studenoga, a sad vakcinu očekujemo za nekoliko tjedana, tako da bi cijepljenje moglo početi već tijekom listopada – kaže nam Kolarić, napominjući da cjepivo protiv gripe stvara imunitet jednu sezonu, odnosno traje negdje oko šest mjeseci do godinu dana.

Prije petnaestak godina broj osoba cijepljenih protiv gripe u Hrvatskoj kretao se oko pola milijuna, pa je onda pao na 250.000, da bi zadnje dvije godine nanovo počeo rasti.

- U sezoni 2017./2018. cijepili smo 300.000 ljudi, prošle godine oko 360 tisuća, a ove je godine ugovorena nabava 460.000 doza cjepiva. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo pokušat će preko objedinjene nabave EU-a dobiti još 40.000 doza i time smatramo da bi se obuhvatio maksimalan broj građana koji pripadaju u rizične skupine - napominje Kolarić.

Treba napomenuti kako je cjepivo za gripu besplatno za one iznad 65 godina i kronične bolesnike, dok ostali moraju platiti.

Osobe koje ne pripadaju rizičnim skupinama mogu se cijepiti komercijalno nabavljenim cjepivom u dogovoru s izabranim liječnikom. Cijena cjepiva lani je u ljekarnama bila između 70 i 100 kuna.

- Cjepivo protiv gripe se tek sad proizvodi zato što se analizira je li se dogodila neka značajnija promjena virusa od prošle sezone. Virus se, naime, promatra u zemljama južne polutke, gdje traje zima dok je kod nas ljeto, i tek onda, kad se vidi je li bilo nekih velikih mutacija, kreće proizvodnja vakcine – objašnjava dr. Kolarić.

Mali postotak cijepljenih

Prošle godine je ukupno procijepljeno 29 posto stanovnika starijih od 65 godina, što je porast cjepnog obuhvata u odnosu na godinu ranije, ali i dalje nedovoljno. Procijepljenost od 29 posto daleko je i ispod preporuka EU-a i Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije po kojima se primjerena zaštita starijih smatra ako ih je cijepljeno 75 posto.

Bilo je godina kad tip gripe koji je bio dominantan nije bio cjepivom najbolje pogođen. Vakcina bi dobro pokrila soj A, ali ne i B, iako bi i oni pacijenti koji su imali tip B dobili lakše simptome budući da je cjepivo pružalo određenu razinu zaštite zahvaljujući antigenskoj sličnosti, odnosno tzv. križnoj zaštiti.

No, sadašnja su cjepiva četverovalentna i to više ne bi trebao biti problem. Još lani građani su cijepljeni takvim četverovalentnim cjepivom u čijoj se proizvodnji koriste dva soja virusa gripe tipa B, a ne jedan kao u ranijim trovalentnim cjepivima. To znatno smanjuje mogućnost nepodudarnosti antigenske linije virusa korištenog za proizvodnju cjepiva s virusom koji prevladava u cirkulaciji među stanovništvom.

Među prvima će vakcinu u listopadu dobiti osobe u domovima za starije i nemoćne. Nekoliko svjetskih znanstvenih studija govori o tome kako cijepljenje protiv gripe smanjuje teške komplikacije koronavirusa kod starijih od 65 godina, a onda i broj umrlih.

- Štićenici domova su najugroženija kategorija pučanstva, oni su ugroženiji od svojih vršnjaka koji nisu u zatvorenim skupinama. U domovina se svaka epidemija brže širi, stoga se oni moraju cijepiti među prvima. Već smo u domove poslali obavijesti da se na vrijeme napravi edukacija i maksimalno procijepe korisnici – kaže Kolarić.

Dosad svi koji su dobivali razna cjepiva u domovina zdravlja nisu morali prethodno predočiti negativan test na koronavirus, a tako će biti i s cijepljenjem protiv gripe - neće biti potrebno prethodno testiranje na COVID.

Kako bi se izbjegli mogućnost da u isto vrijeme obolite od COVID-a i gripe, jer čak i kod ljudi koji su u punom zdravlju kombinacija tih dviju bolesti ne bi imala lagan tijek, liječnici savjetuju svakako cijepljenje protiv gripe.

Ove godine, kako nam potvrđuje prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, epidemiolog i član Vladina Znanstvenog savjeta za koronavirus, cijepljenje protiv gripe počet će ranije nego inače.

- Prijašnjih godina obično bi cijepljenje protiv gripe startalo početkom studenoga, a sad vakcinu očekujemo za nekoliko tjedana, tako da bi cijepljenje moglo početi već tijekom listopada – kaže nam Kolarić, napominjući da cjepivo protiv gripe stvara imunitet jednu sezonu, odnosno traje negdje oko šest mjeseci do godinu dana.

Prije petnaestak godina broj osoba cijepljenih protiv gripe u Hrvatskoj kretao se oko pola milijuna, pa je onda pao na 250.000, da bi zadnje dvije godine nanovo počeo rasti.

- U sezoni 2017./2018. cijepili smo 300.000 ljudi, prošle godine oko 360 tisuća, a ove je godine ugovorena nabava 460.000 doza cjepiva. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo pokušat će preko objedinjene nabave EU-a dobiti još 40.000 doza i time smatramo da bi se obuhvatio maksimalan broj građana koji pripadaju u rizične skupine - napominje Kolarić.

Treba napomenuti kako je cjepivo za gripu besplatno za one iznad 65 godina i kronične bolesnike, dok ostali moraju platiti.

Osobe koje ne pripadaju rizičnim skupinama mogu se cijepiti komercijalno nabavljenim cjepivom u dogovoru s izabranim liječnikom. Cijena cjepiva lani je u ljekarnama bila između 70 i 100 kuna.

- Cjepivo protiv gripe se tek sad proizvodi zato što se analizira je li se dogodila neka značajnija promjena virusa od prošle sezone. Virus se, naime, promatra u zemljama južne polutke, gdje traje zima dok je kod nas ljeto, i tek onda, kad se vidi je li bilo nekih velikih mutacija, kreće proizvodnja vakcine – objašnjava dr. Kolarić.

Mali postotak cijepljenih

Prošle godine je ukupno procijepljeno 29 posto stanovnika starijih od 65 godina, što je porast cjepnog obuhvata u odnosu na godinu ranije, ali i dalje nedovoljno. Procijepljenost od 29 posto daleko je i ispod preporuka EU-a i Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije po kojima se primjerena zaštita starijih smatra ako ih je cijepljeno 75 posto.

Bilo je godina kad tip gripe koji je bio dominantan nije bio cjepivom najbolje pogođen. Vakcina bi dobro pokrila soj A, ali ne i B, iako bi i oni pacijenti koji su imali tip B dobili lakše simptome budući da je cjepivo pružalo određenu razinu zaštite zahvaljujući antigenskoj sličnosti, odnosno tzv. križnoj zaštiti.

No, sadašnja su cjepiva četverovalentna i to više ne bi trebao biti problem. Još lani građani su cijepljeni takvim četverovalentnim cjepivom u čijoj se proizvodnji koriste dva soja virusa gripe tipa B, a ne jedan kao u ranijim trovalentnim cjepivima. To znatno smanjuje mogućnost nepodudarnosti antigenske linije virusa korištenog za proizvodnju cjepiva s virusom koji prevladava u cirkulaciji među stanovništvom.

Među prvima će vakcinu u listopadu dobiti osobe u domovima za starije i nemoćne. Nekoliko svjetskih znanstvenih studija govori o tome kako cijepljenje protiv gripe smanjuje teške komplikacije koronavirusa kod starijih od 65 godina, a onda i broj umrlih.

- Štićenici domova su najugroženija kategorija pučanstva, oni su ugroženiji od svojih vršnjaka koji nisu u zatvorenim skupinama. U domovina se svaka epidemija brže širi, stoga se oni moraju cijepiti među prvima. Već smo u domove poslali obavijesti da se na vrijeme napravi edukacija i maksimalno procijepe korisnici – kaže Kolarić.

Dosad svi koji su dobivali razna cjepiva u domovina zdravlja nisu morali prethodno predočiti negativan test na koronavirus, a tako će biti i s cijepljenjem protiv gripe - neće biti potrebno prethodno testiranje na COVID.

Kako bi se izbjegli mogućnost da u isto vrijeme obolite od COVID-a i gripe, jer čak i kod ljudi koji su u punom zdravlju kombinacija tih dviju bolesti ne bi imala lagan tijek, liječnici savjetuju svakako cijepljenje protiv gripe.

Ove godine, kako nam potvrđuje prof. dr. Branko Kolarić, epidemiolog i član Vladina Znanstvenog savjeta za koronavirus, cijepljenje protiv gripe počet će ranije nego inače.

- Prijašnjih godina obično bi cijepljenje protiv gripe startalo početkom studenoga, a sad vakcinu očekujemo za nekoliko tjedana, tako da bi cijepljenje moglo početi već tijekom listopada – kaže nam Kolarić, napominjući da cjepivo protiv gripe stvara imunitet jednu sezonu, odnosno traje negdje oko šest mjeseci do godinu dana.
