Iako je pročelje Glavnog željezničkog kolodvora u Rijeci završeno još prije godinu dana, unutrašnjost zgrade još uvijek nije u funkciji, pa se jedina blagajna nalazi u potpuno neadekvatnom prostoru i svojim izgledom nikako ne oduševljava malobrojne putnike koji u Rijeku i iz Rijeke još putuju vlakom.

- Ovako ne izgleda unutrašnji prostor stanice čak ni u nekim zabačenim selima nerazvijenih država izvan Europe, razočarano objašnjava Novom listu dobar poznavalac svjetskih prijevoznih sustava, slovenski turistički vodič riječkih korijena, s bogatim iskustvom vođenja grupa od Novog Zelanda, preko Irana, do Južne Amerike, a posebice New Yorka, gdje je godinama živio, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Riječki kolodvor dobar je možda tek za migrante

- Trenutačno se završava izrada projektne dokumentacije za uređenje dijela interijera zgrade Glavnog kolodvora u Rijeci namijenjenog putnicima, nakon čega kreće postupak nabave radova. Prema sadašnjim procjenama, završetak svih radova očekujemo polovinom 2024. godine, kaže se u odgovoru korporativnih komunikacija HŽ-a Infrastrukture na upit Novog lista hoće li u obnovljenom izdanju i unutrašnjost kolodvora dočekati ovogodišnje turiste za vrijeme turističke sezone.

Ovogodišnje putnike turističkog vlaka iz Češke tako će umjesto unutrašnjosti obnovljene zgrade iz 1891. godine dočekati migranti, koji na svom ‘hot spotu‘ ispred kolodvora suše svoje rublje.

Međutim, postavlja se i pitanje ima li glavni kolodvor više ikakvu bitnu putničku funkciju, odnosno hoće li s obzirom na situaciju sa željezničkim prometom, uopće imati putnike.

Neuređeni riječki željeznički kolodvor i ove će godine dočekati turiste

Ondje gdje je željeznički promet ‘živ‘, glavni kolodvori su puni raznih trgovačkih i ugostiteljskih sadržaja koji tako obogaćuju ritam grada, dok u Rijeci za sada još uvijek nije poznato hoće li unutrašnjost glavnog kolodvora dobiti bilo kakve dodatne sadržaje poput trgovina i agencija. Osim ugostiteljskog objekta s ‘vanjske‘ strane kolodvora, koji se već dobro uhodao, za sada nema naznake da je netko zainteresiran za rad na novouređenom glavnom kolodvoru.

– Koji će se konkretni dodatni sadržaji ondje nalaziti, bit će poznato po završetku radova, jer će se tada utvrditi prostor koji je moguće komercijalizirati putem javnog natječaja, kaže se u odgovoru korporativnih komunikacija HŽ-a Infrastrukture Novom listu, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Iako je pročelje Glavnog željezničkog kolodvora u Rijeci završeno još prije godinu dana, unutrašnjost zgrade još uvijek nije u funkciji, pa se jedina blagajna nalazi u potpuno neadekvatnom prostoru i svojim izgledom nikako ne oduševljava malobrojne putnike koji u Rijeku i iz Rijeke još putuju vlakom.

- Ovako ne izgleda unutrašnji prostor stanice čak ni u nekim zabačenim selima nerazvijenih država izvan Europe, razočarano objašnjava Novom listu dobar poznavalac svjetskih prijevoznih sustava, slovenski turistički vodič riječkih korijena, s bogatim iskustvom vođenja grupa od Novog Zelanda, preko Irana, do Južne Amerike, a posebice New Yorka, gdje je godinama živio, prenosi Jutarnji list.

- Trenutačno se završava izrada projektne dokumentacije za uređenje dijela interijera zgrade Glavnog kolodvora u Rijeci namijenjenog putnicima, nakon čega kreće postupak nabave radova. Prema sadašnjim procjenama, završetak svih radova očekujemo polovinom 2024. godine, kaže se u odgovoru korporativnih komunikacija HŽ-a Infrastrukture na upit Novog lista hoće li u obnovljenom izdanju i unutrašnjost kolodvora dočekati ovogodišnje turiste za vrijeme turističke sezone.

Ovogodišnje putnike turističkog vlaka iz Češke tako će umjesto unutrašnjosti obnovljene zgrade iz 1891. godine dočekati migranti, koji na svom ‘hot spotu‘ ispred kolodvora suše svoje rublje.

Međutim, postavlja se i pitanje ima li glavni kolodvor više ikakvu bitnu putničku funkciju, odnosno hoće li s obzirom na situaciju sa željezničkim prometom, uopće imati putnike.

Ondje gdje je željeznički promet ‘živ‘, glavni kolodvori su puni raznih trgovačkih i ugostiteljskih sadržaja koji tako obogaćuju ritam grada, dok u Rijeci za sada još uvijek nije poznato hoće li unutrašnjost glavnog kolodvora dobiti bilo kakve dodatne sadržaje poput trgovina i agencija. Osim ugostiteljskog objekta s ‘vanjske‘ strane kolodvora, koji se već dobro uhodao, za sada nema naznake da je netko zainteresiran za rad na novouređenom glavnom kolodvoru.

– Koji će se konkretni dodatni sadržaji ondje nalaziti, bit će poznato po završetku radova, jer će se tada utvrditi prostor koji je moguće komercijalizirati putem javnog natječaja, kaže se u odgovoru korporativnih komunikacija HŽ-a Infrastrukture Novom listu, prenosi Jutarnji list.
