Nezavisna saborska zastupnica Marijana Petir, čiji je amandman o milijun i pol kuna pomoći progonjenim kršćanima Vlada prihvatila što je izazvalo brojne, pa i negativne reakcije, tumači kako su ta sredstva namijenjena za stipendiranje mladih koji su progonjeni zbog svoje vjere.
„Predviđena sredstva namijenjena su za stipendiranje mladih ljudi koji su progonjeni zbog svoje vjere u državama u kojima su islamistički teroristi na vlasti ili im vlade ne dozvoljavaju da upišu magisterij ili doktorat samo zbog toga što su kršćani. Želimo im omogućiti da studiraju u Hrvatskoj i steknu znanja te se potom vrate u svoju domovinu gdje će pomoći u izgradnji svojih zajednica, te demokratskog i tolerantnog društva“, rekla je Petir za Hinu.
Upitana smeta li kritičare sama pomoć ili to što je usmjerena kršćanima, zastupnica odgovara da se „kršćanima ne pomaže zato što su kršćani nego zato što su, nažalost, najprogonjenija vjerska grupa na svijetu“.
„Obzirom da sam sudjelovala u izradi i donošenju rezolucije Europskog parlamenta o genocidu nad kršćanima u Siriji i Iraku koja je bila blokirana više od godinu dana zato što je nekima smetalo spominjanje riječi “kršćani” u naslovu rezolucije, jasno je da riječ o pojavi koja ukazuje na to da je kod nekih mržnja prema kršćanima veća od elementarne ljudske potrebe i dužnosti da se svakom čovjeku osiguraju osnovna ljudska prava. Oni koji smatraju da samo njihovi istomišljenici trebaju imati ljudska prava, ali kršćani ne, svojim djelovanjem i porukama doprinose širenju kršćanofobije i to je za svaku osudu“, poručila je Petir.
Među onima koji su kritizirali Vladinu odluku da prihvati njen amandman je i CROSOL, Platforma za građansku solidarnost koja okuplja 30-ak udruga, a koja tvrdi da dodjela sredstava samo jednoj vjerskoj skupini nameće i pitanje transparentnog i odgovornog upravljanja proračunskim novcem.
Kršćani su danas najprogonjenija vjerska grupa
Petir potvrđuje da su kršćani danas najprogonjenija vjerska grupa na svijetu i da „često pate uz druge vjerske i etničke manjine“. Vatikanska fondacija „Aid to Church in need“ (Pomoć Crkvi u nevolji) u svom istraživanju provedenom u razdoblju 2017.-2019. navela je da je 300 milijuna kršćana u opasnosti od različitih oblika progona zbog svoje vjere. To znači da jedan od sedam kršćana živi u zemlji u kojoj vjera u Isusa Krista dolazi s rizikom od proizvoljnog raseljavanja, uhićenja, različitih kršenja ljudskih prava, pa čak i smrti“, naglasila je zastupnica.
Kaže i da programi pomoći namijenjeni isključivo pomoći progonjenim kršćanima u svijetu nisu nepoznanica.
„EU je najveći donator humanitarne pomoći na svijetu te zajedno s državama članicama provodi aktivnosti koje imaju za cilj pomoći stvaranju kulture obilježene pluralizmom i tolerancijom u područjima gdje se događaju progoni zbog vjere. Postoje i posebni programi koji su namijenjeni isključivo pomoći progonjenim kršćanima u nekoliko država članica kao i u SAD-u i ti su programi osim stipendiranja mladih ljudi, usmjereni i na socioekonomski razvoj i izgradnju uništenih kršćanskih zajednica, njihovih domova, škola i infrastrukture kako bi se kršćanima pomoglo da ostanu živjeti u svom domu“, rekla je Petir.

Nezavisna saborska zastupnica Marijana Petir, čiji je amandman o milijun i pol kuna pomoći progonjenim kršćanima Vlada prihvatila što je izazvalo brojne, pa i negativne reakcije, tumači kako su ta sredstva namijenjena za stipendiranje mladih koji su progonjeni zbog svoje vjere.
„Predviđena sredstva namijenjena su za stipendiranje mladih ljudi koji su progonjeni zbog svoje vjere u državama u kojima su islamistički teroristi na vlasti ili im vlade ne dozvoljavaju da upišu magisterij ili doktorat samo zbog toga što su kršćani. Želimo im omogućiti da studiraju u Hrvatskoj i steknu znanja te se potom vrate u svoju domovinu gdje će pomoći u izgradnji svojih zajednica, te demokratskog i tolerantnog društva“, rekla je Petir za Hinu.
Upitana smeta li kritičare sama pomoć ili to što je usmjerena kršćanima, zastupnica odgovara da se „kršćanima ne pomaže zato što su kršćani nego zato što su, nažalost, najprogonjenija vjerska grupa na svijetu“.
„Obzirom da sam sudjelovala u izradi i donošenju rezolucije Europskog parlamenta o genocidu nad kršćanima u Siriji i Iraku koja je bila blokirana više od godinu dana zato što je nekima smetalo spominjanje riječi “kršćani” u naslovu rezolucije, jasno je da riječ o pojavi koja ukazuje na to da je kod nekih mržnja prema kršćanima veća od elementarne ljudske potrebe i dužnosti da se svakom čovjeku osiguraju osnovna ljudska prava. Oni koji smatraju da samo njihovi istomišljenici trebaju imati ljudska prava, ali kršćani ne, svojim djelovanjem i porukama doprinose širenju kršćanofobije i to je za svaku osudu“, poručila je Petir.
Među onima koji su kritizirali Vladinu odluku da prihvati njen amandman je i CROSOL, Platforma za građansku solidarnost koja okuplja 30-ak udruga, a koja tvrdi da dodjela sredstava samo jednoj vjerskoj skupini nameće i pitanje transparentnog i odgovornog upravljanja proračunskim novcem.

Petir potvrđuje da su kršćani danas najprogonjenija vjerska grupa na svijetu i da „često pate uz druge vjerske i etničke manjine“. Vatikanska fondacija „Aid to Church in need“ (Pomoć Crkvi u nevolji) u svom istraživanju provedenom u razdoblju 2017.-2019. navela je da je 300 milijuna kršćana u opasnosti od različitih oblika progona zbog svoje vjere. To znači da jedan od sedam kršćana živi u zemlji u kojoj vjera u Isusa Krista dolazi s rizikom od proizvoljnog raseljavanja, uhićenja, različitih kršenja ljudskih prava, pa čak i smrti“, naglasila je zastupnica.
Kaže i da programi pomoći namijenjeni isključivo pomoći progonjenim kršćanima u svijetu nisu nepoznanica.
„EU je najveći donator humanitarne pomoći na svijetu te zajedno s državama članicama provodi aktivnosti koje imaju za cilj pomoći stvaranju kulture obilježene pluralizmom i tolerancijom u područjima gdje se događaju progoni zbog vjere. Postoje i posebni programi koji su namijenjeni isključivo pomoći progonjenim kršćanima u nekoliko država članica kao i u SAD-u i ti su programi osim stipendiranja mladih ljudi, usmjereni i na socioekonomski razvoj i izgradnju uništenih kršćanskih zajednica, njihovih domova, škola i infrastrukture kako bi se kršćanima pomoglo da ostanu živjeti u svom domu“, rekla je Petir.
