Imunolog Stipan Jonjić s Medicinskog fakulteta u Rijeci jutros je u emisiji HRT-a U mreži Prvog upozorio kako postoji veliki rizik da nas privid normalnog, biologija virusa i naše greške najesen opet dovedu u katastrofalnu situaciju s Covidom.
Jonjić je rekao da smo sad svi u prividu normalnog, ali da postoji veliki rizik da nas taj privid i biologija virusa te naše greške dovedu opet najesen u katastrofalnu situaciju.
- Ništa se bitnoga nama nije promijenilo osim famoznog cijepljenja koje je za sada, izgleda, jedini uspješan način borbe, rekao je Jonjić.
Virusi tendiraju mutacijama, poboljšanjima, do kraja ljeta vjerojatno ćemo imati nekoliko novih varijacija, rekao je također.
Međutim, istaknuo je, izgleda da se za sada nije dogodila varijanta koja je potpuno rezistentna na cijepljenje.
- Međutim, može se dogoditi varijanta koja je praktički potpuno rezistentna na ovo cijepljenje i mi moramo tražiti druge opcije. Naravno, druge opcije su nove vrste cjepiva, nove varijante cjepiva koje ciljaju takozvani konzervirani dio virusnom genoma, odnosno proteoma, na koji virus ne može napraviti ništa, jer ako mutira taj dio, onda nema tog virusa više. I na tome se puno radi, rekao je Jonjić.
- Dok nemamo potpuno jasno pokriveno cijepljenje i dok nemamo lijeka za Covid-19, ostaju nam konzervativne mjere koje su nepopularne, a to su zapravo oprez, ciljane mjere kako bi se spriječilo širenje epidemije, rekao je također Jonjić, dodavši da nije optimističan, odnosno da je umjereno pesimističan što se tiče jeseni s obzirom na našu procijepljenost.
- Jednostavno me strah, ne vidim načina kako bi optimizam pomogao, rekao je.

Imunolog Stipan Jonjić s Medicinskog fakulteta u Rijeci jutros je u emisiji HRT-a U mreži Prvog upozorio kako postoji veliki rizik da nas privid normalnog, biologija virusa i naše greške najesen opet dovedu u katastrofalnu situaciju s Covidom.

- Ništa se bitnoga nama nije promijenilo osim famoznog cijepljenja koje je za sada, izgleda, jedini uspješan način borbe, rekao je Jonjić.
Virusi tendiraju mutacijama, poboljšanjima, do kraja ljeta vjerojatno ćemo imati nekoliko novih varijacija, rekao je također.
Međutim, istaknuo je, izgleda da se za sada nije dogodila varijanta koja je potpuno rezistentna na cijepljenje.
- Međutim, može se dogoditi varijanta koja je praktički potpuno rezistentna na ovo cijepljenje i mi moramo tražiti druge opcije. Naravno, druge opcije su nove vrste cjepiva, nove varijante cjepiva koje ciljaju takozvani konzervirani dio virusnom genoma, odnosno proteoma, na koji virus ne može napraviti ništa, jer ako mutira taj dio, onda nema tog virusa više. I na tome se puno radi, rekao je Jonjić.
- Dok nemamo potpuno jasno pokriveno cijepljenje i dok nemamo lijeka za Covid-19, ostaju nam konzervativne mjere koje su nepopularne, a to su zapravo oprez, ciljane mjere kako bi se spriječilo širenje epidemije, rekao je također Jonjić, dodavši da nije optimističan, odnosno da je umjereno pesimističan što se tiče jeseni s obzirom na našu procijepljenost.
- Jednostavno me strah, ne vidim načina kako bi optimizam pomogao, rekao je.
