Od statusa rezerve do junaka utakmice. Takva je priča Jure Topića, sedamnaestogodišnjeg vratara vaterpolista Galeba MR koji je u pobjedi nad Zadrom 1952 rezultatom 20:12 obranio čak 26 udaraca! 

Tako barem veli službena statistika Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza. U vaterpolu su takve brojke prava rijetkost, pogotovo na seniorskoj razini.

- Ma, sve je to zbog dobre obrane. Bila je pripremljena na pravi način i bitno mi je olakšala posao. Treba suigračima zahvaliti, nisu me ostavili na streljani – nasmijao se skromni Topić kad smo ga nazvali.

Jesi li brojao obrane?

- Haha, nisam. Ali bio sam svjestan da ih ima dosta. Odmah u prvoj četvrtini sam obranio par šuteva, krenulo je dobro i nisam se zaustavljao. Meni osobno je ulazak u utakmicu ključan. Prvi je šut najvažniji. On definira utakmicu.

Jure je nominalno drugi vratar makarskog sastava, ali je u ovom dvoboju 5. kola prvenstva Hrvatske dobio priliku od prve minute zato što je prvi čuvar mreže Mario Podrug bio odsutan zbog bolesti. Je li bilo treme?

- Je malo, ali trener je dobro postavio igru. Znao sam da će mi obrana pomoći i da će mi biti lakše. To je bilo važno. Nije bilo puno stresa.

Jure Beg

Odzvonilo je tih 26 obrana (68% uspješnosti) u vaterpolskim krugovima.

- Pohvale stižu sa svih strana i drago mi je zbog toga, ali treba ostati na zemlji i biti realan.

Ako ćemo biti realni, treba reći da je Zadar jedna od najlošijih momčadi lige, no ipak treba skupiti preko 20 obrana. Nije to lako bez obzira na suparnika. Pokazao je Jure da se na njega može računati, iako je deset godina stariji i iskusniji Podrug i dalje neprikosnovena „jedinica”. Svjestan je toga i Jure koji je još uvijek junior. U seniorskom je sastavu već dobivao određenu minutažu, no protiv Zadra je prvi put ušao u meč kao prvi vratar.

- Ulogu drugog vratara prihvaćam normalno. Spremno čekam minute i pokušavam ih iskoristiti najbolje što mogu. Iduće utakmice vjerojatno igramo tek kad se Mario vrati tako da će opet on uglavnom braniti. On mi puno pomaže svojim savjetima.

Na klupskoj Facebook stranici piše kako je Jure protiv Zadra bio pravi beg, po djedu, pa smo pitali Juru što to znači.

- To je nadimak mog dida koji se isto zove Jure. Jure Beg. To je obiteljski nadimak s mamine strane. Ona je iz Makarske, a tata je porijeklom iz Hercegovine iako je rođen i odrastao u Australiji. Živim tu u centru Makarske, deset minuta šetnje od bazena.

Jure, koji se vaterpolom bavi šest godina, još je uvijek srednjoškolac, treći je razred Jezične gimnazije u Makarskoj i tek će na proljeće sljedeće godine postati punoljetan. Treba i stići odraditi sve školske obveze uz svakodnevne treninge i utakmice vikendom.

- Sve se može stići, samo se treba dobro organizirati i kvalitetno raspodijeliti vrijeme – kaže Topić otkrivajući nam i planove na akademskom planu.

- Trenutno sam bliži studiju u Zagrebu. Više sam za društvene znanosti, privlači me pravo.

A vaterpolo?

- Kako bude, bit će. Iskreno, ne razmišljam još o profesionalnoj karijeri, ali nikad se ne zna. Treniram, radim i trudim se, vidjet ćemo što će biti – zaključuje Jure Topić.

Bez obzira na to kako se dalje bude razvijala njegova vaterpolska karijera, izvedbu protiv Zadra zauvijek će pamtiti.

Od statusa rezerve do junaka utakmice. Takva je priča Jure Topića, sedamnaestogodišnjeg vratara vaterpolista Galeba MR koji je u pobjedi nad Zadrom 1952 rezultatom 20:12 obranio čak 26 udaraca! 

Tako barem veli službena statistika Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza. U vaterpolu su takve brojke prava rijetkost, pogotovo na seniorskoj razini.

- Ma, sve je to zbog dobre obrane. Bila je pripremljena na pravi način i bitno mi je olakšala posao. Treba suigračima zahvaliti, nisu me ostavili na streljani – nasmijao se skromni Topić kad smo ga nazvali.

Jesi li brojao obrane?

- Haha, nisam. Ali bio sam svjestan da ih ima dosta. Odmah u prvoj četvrtini sam obranio par šuteva, krenulo je dobro i nisam se zaustavljao. Meni osobno je ulazak u utakmicu ključan. Prvi je šut najvažniji. On definira utakmicu.

Jure je nominalno drugi vratar makarskog sastava, ali je u ovom dvoboju 5. kola prvenstva Hrvatske dobio priliku od prve minute zato što je prvi čuvar mreže Mario Podrug bio odsutan zbog bolesti. Je li bilo treme?

- Je malo, ali trener je dobro postavio igru. Znao sam da će mi obrana pomoći i da će mi biti lakše. To je bilo važno. Nije bilo puno stresa.

Jure Beg

Odzvonilo je tih 26 obrana (68% uspješnosti) u vaterpolskim krugovima.

- Pohvale stižu sa svih strana i drago mi je zbog toga, ali treba ostati na zemlji i biti realan.

Ako ćemo biti realni, treba reći da je Zadar jedna od najlošijih momčadi lige, no ipak treba skupiti preko 20 obrana. Nije to lako bez obzira na suparnika. Pokazao je Jure da se na njega može računati, iako je deset godina stariji i iskusniji Podrug i dalje neprikosnovena „jedinica”. Svjestan je toga i Jure koji je još uvijek junior. U seniorskom je sastavu već dobivao određenu minutažu, no protiv Zadra je prvi put ušao u meč kao prvi vratar.

- Ulogu drugog vratara prihvaćam normalno. Spremno čekam minute i pokušavam ih iskoristiti najbolje što mogu. Iduće utakmice vjerojatno igramo tek kad se Mario vrati tako da će opet on uglavnom braniti. On mi puno pomaže svojim savjetima.

Na klupskoj Facebook stranici piše kako je Jure protiv Zadra bio pravi beg, po djedu, pa smo pitali Juru što to znači.

- To je nadimak mog dida koji se isto zove Jure. Jure Beg. To je obiteljski nadimak s mamine strane. Ona je iz Makarske, a tata je porijeklom iz Hercegovine iako je rođen i odrastao u Australiji. Živim tu u centru Makarske, deset minuta šetnje od bazena.

Jure, koji se vaterpolom bavi šest godina, još je uvijek srednjoškolac, treći je razred Jezične gimnazije u Makarskoj i tek će na proljeće sljedeće godine postati punoljetan. Treba i stići odraditi sve školske obveze uz svakodnevne treninge i utakmice vikendom.

- Sve se može stići, samo se treba dobro organizirati i kvalitetno raspodijeliti vrijeme – kaže Topić otkrivajući nam i planove na akademskom planu.

- Trenutno sam bliži studiju u Zagrebu. Više sam za društvene znanosti, privlači me pravo.

A vaterpolo?

- Kako bude, bit će. Iskreno, ne razmišljam još o profesionalnoj karijeri, ali nikad se ne zna. Treniram, radim i trudim se, vidjet ćemo što će biti – zaključuje Jure Topić.

Bez obzira na to kako se dalje bude razvijala njegova vaterpolska karijera, izvedbu protiv Zadra zauvijek će pamtiti.

Od statusa rezerve do junaka utakmice. Takva je priča Jure Topića, sedamnaestogodišnjeg vratara vaterpolista Galeba MR koji je u pobjedi nad Zadrom 1952 rezultatom 20:12 obranio čak 26 udaraca! 

Tako barem veli službena statistika Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza. U vaterpolu su takve brojke prava rijetkost, pogotovo na seniorskoj razini.

- Ma, sve je to zbog dobre obrane. Bila je pripremljena na pravi način i bitno mi je olakšala posao. Treba suigračima zahvaliti, nisu me ostavili na streljani – nasmijao se skromni Topić kad smo ga nazvali.

Jesi li brojao obrane?
