Kapetan talijanskog nogometnog prvoligaša Beneventa Fabio Lucioni (30) kažnjen je jednogodišnjom zabranom nastupa zbog pozitivnog dopinškog testa, on je nakon utakmice protiv Torina 10. rujna prošle godine bio pozitivan na anabolički steroid klostebol, objavila je Talijanska antidopinška agencija.

Lucioni je najavio žalbu na ovu odluku, a klupski liječnik Walter Giorgione koji je preuzeo odgovornost za pozitivan test, kažnjen je s četiri godine zabrane rada u nogometu.

Giorgione je kazao kako je igrač koristio sprej za zacjeljivanje ozljeda koji je pripadao njemu.

Benevento se ove sezone po prvi put u klupskoj povijesti natječe u prvoj ligi, te je u sezonu krenuo sa 14 uzastopnih poraza što je novi negativni rekord u europskom nogometu. Prvi bod klub je osvojio u 15. kolu protiv Milana golom svog vratara u posljednjoj minuti sudačke nadoknade, da bi u posljednja dva kola ostvario dvije pobjede protiv Chieva i Sampdorije. Ipak, sa samo sedam osvojenih bodova Benevento je i dalje uvjerljivo posljednji na ljestvici, šest više ima 19. Verona, a osam 17. SPAL koji drži posljednje mjesto koje osigurava ostanak.

Kapetan talijanskog nogometnog prvoligaša Beneventa Fabio Lucioni (30) kažnjen je jednogodišnjom zabranom nastupa zbog pozitivnog dopinškog testa, on je nakon utakmice protiv Torina 10. rujna prošle godine bio pozitivan na anabolički steroid klostebol, objavila je Talijanska antidopinška agencija.

Lucioni je najavio žalbu na ovu odluku, a klupski liječnik Walter Giorgione koji je preuzeo odgovornost za pozitivan test, kažnjen je s četiri godine zabrane rada u nogometu.

Giorgione je kazao kako je igrač koristio sprej za zacjeljivanje ozljeda koji je pripadao njemu.

Benevento se ove sezone po prvi put u klupskoj povijesti natječe u prvoj ligi, te je u sezonu krenuo sa 14 uzastopnih poraza što je novi negativni rekord u europskom nogometu. Prvi bod klub je osvojio u 15. kolu protiv Milana golom svog vratara u posljednjoj minuti sudačke nadoknade, da bi u posljednja dva kola ostvario dvije pobjede protiv Chieva i Sampdorije. Ipak, sa samo sedam osvojenih bodova Benevento je i dalje uvjerljivo posljednji na ljestvici, šest više ima 19. Verona, a osam 17. SPAL koji drži posljednje mjesto koje osigurava ostanak.
