Nakon što je prva momčad završila u karanteni zbog nekoliko igrača zaraženih koronavirusom, Zurich će nastaviti švicarsko nogometno prvenstvo s igračima do 21 godine.

U petak je objavljeno kako je branič Mirlind Kryeziu bio pozitivan na COVID-19, a u subotu su potvrđeni novi slučajevi među igračima i u stručnom stožeru pa je čitava momčad završila u karanteni do 17. srpnja.

Kako bi spasili sezonu čelnici Zuricha su odlučili kako će iduća dva kola igrati s igračima do 21 godine.

Zanimljivo, u iduća dva susreta Zurich će igrati protiv kandidata za naslov prvaka, Basela i Young Boysa što nije najbolje prihvaćeno u redovima lidera St Gallena.

"Svi smo u vrlo teškoj situaciji. Odmjerili smo sve prednosti i nedostatke te došli do zaključka da, u interesu švicarskog nogometa, želimo igrati utakmice protiv Basela i Young Boysa. Ako na taj način možemo osigurati da se prvenstvo može igrati do kraja, to je u interesu svih klubova Super lige," poručili su iz kluba.

Šest kola prije kraja prvenstva vodi St Gallen sa 59 bodova, Young Boysi na drugom mjestu imaju boda manje, dok je na trećem mjestu Basel sa 52 boda. Zurich je na šestom mjestu sa 42 boda.

Nakon što je prva momčad završila u karanteni zbog nekoliko igrača zaraženih koronavirusom, Zurich će nastaviti švicarsko nogometno prvenstvo s igračima do 21 godine.

U petak je objavljeno kako je branič Mirlind Kryeziu bio pozitivan na COVID-19, a u subotu su potvrđeni novi slučajevi među igračima i u stručnom stožeru pa je čitava momčad završila u karanteni do 17. srpnja.

Kako bi spasili sezonu čelnici Zuricha su odlučili kako će iduća dva kola igrati s igračima do 21 godine.

Zanimljivo, u iduća dva susreta Zurich će igrati protiv kandidata za naslov prvaka, Basela i Young Boysa što nije najbolje prihvaćeno u redovima lidera St Gallena.

"Svi smo u vrlo teškoj situaciji. Odmjerili smo sve prednosti i nedostatke te došli do zaključka da, u interesu švicarskog nogometa, želimo igrati utakmice protiv Basela i Young Boysa. Ako na taj način možemo osigurati da se prvenstvo može igrati do kraja, to je u interesu svih klubova Super lige," poručili su iz kluba.

Šest kola prije kraja prvenstva vodi St Gallen sa 59 bodova, Young Boysi na drugom mjestu imaju boda manje, dok je na trećem mjestu Basel sa 52 boda. Zurich je na šestom mjestu sa 42 boda.
