Koliko nam je Ivan Martinović nedostajao na prošlom Europskom prvenstvu, najbolje se vidjelo protiv Austrije. U prvoj utakmici kvalifikacija za Olimpijske igre hrvatski su rukometaši zahvaljujući furioznom drugom poluvremenu pobijedili Austriju s 35:29 (16:16).

Najzaslužniji za pobjednički start novog izbornika Dagura Sigurdssona upravo je Martinović koji je utakmicu završio s devet pogodaka. Bio je ovo možda i najvažniji okršaj za naše u Hannoveru, ali razloga za slavlje još uvijek nema. Hrvatskoj već danas od 14.30 slijedi dvoboj s Njemačkom.

Oni su u prvoj utakmici bez problema nadigrali Alžir s 41:29. Nakon što su bili domaćini Eura, i borba za Pariz odvija se na njihovom terenu. Na Europskom prvenstvu nisu uspjeli do medalje, završili su na četvrtom mjestu. Jasno je kako će protiv Hrvatske ići na pobjedu kako bi što prije osigurali plasman na Igre. Podsjetimo, dvije najbolje ekipa izborit će vizu za Pariz.

Počelo loše

No, iste planove ima i Hrvatska pod ravnanjem Islanđanina Sigurdssona. Obrisi onoga što želi od igrača vidjeli su se u prvoj utakmici, pogotovo u drugom dijelu. No, ostalo je i ono ‘staro’. Katastrofalno su naši ušli u utakmicu s Austrijom. Gubili su 1:5. Dobra stvar je što nisu dopustili da ih ‘sivilo’ odnese. Nakon teške borbe vratili su se u dvoboj, a u nastavku konačno i slomili otpor protivnika.

Uz sjajnog Martinovića, odličnu predstavu imao je i Zvonimir Srna sa šest pogodaka. Mario Šoštarić je dodao pet, Luka Cindrić četiri uz odličnu ‘playmakersku’ rolu. Imali su naši i potporu s vrata. Matej Mandić skupio je 11 obrana, Dominik Kuzmanović dodao je pet od čega je i jedan ‘skinuti’ sedmerac.

Pokazali moć

Kako rekosmo, u drugom poluvremenu, bila je to Hrvatska kakvu želimo gledati. Jednostavna i brza, demonstrirala je ‘višak’ kvalitete u odnosu na protivnika. I spasa Austrijancima nije bilo. Prvi, veliki korak prema Parizu je napravljen. Danas slijedi okršaj s Nijemcima, a onda i susret s Alžirom za kraj, u nedjelju od 16.45. Protivnik je to koji bi, barem na papiru, trebao biti najmanja prijetnja. Ali polako... Uživajmo u klasiku s Njemačkom.

Koliko nam je Ivan Martinović nedostajao na prošlom Europskom prvenstvu, najbolje se vidjelo protiv Austrije. U prvoj utakmici kvalifikacija za Olimpijske igre hrvatski su rukometaši zahvaljujući furioznom drugom poluvremenu pobijedili Austriju s 35:29 (16:16).

Najzaslužniji za pobjednički start novog izbornika Dagura Sigurdssona upravo je Martinović koji je utakmicu završio s devet pogodaka. Bio je ovo možda i najvažniji okršaj za naše u Hannoveru, ali razloga za slavlje još uvijek nema. Hrvatskoj već danas od 14.30 slijedi dvoboj s Njemačkom.

Oni su u prvoj utakmici bez problema nadigrali Alžir s 41:29. Nakon što su bili domaćini Eura, i borba za Pariz odvija se na njihovom terenu. Na Europskom prvenstvu nisu uspjeli do medalje, završili su na četvrtom mjestu. Jasno je kako će protiv Hrvatske ići na pobjedu kako bi što prije osigurali plasman na Igre. Počelo loše

No, iste planove ima i Hrvatska pod ravnanjem Islanđanina Sigurdssona. Obrisi onoga što želi od igrača vidjeli su se u prvoj utakmici, pogotovo u drugom dijelu. No, ostalo je i ono ‘staro’. Katastrofalno su naši ušli u utakmicu s Austrijom. Gubili su 1:5. Dobra stvar je što nisu dopustili da ih ‘sivilo’ odnese. Nakon teške borbe vratili su se u dvoboj, a u nastavku konačno i slomili otpor protivnika.

Uz sjajnog Martinovića, odličnu predstavu imao je i Zvonimir Srna sa šest pogodaka. Mario Šoštarić je dodao pet, Luka Cindrić četiri uz odličnu ‘playmakersku’ rolu. Imali su naši i potporu s vrata. Matej Mandić skupio je 11 obrana, Dominik Kuzmanović dodao je pet od čega je i jedan ‘skinuti’ sedmerac.

Pokazali moć

Kako rekosmo, u drugom poluvremenu, bila je to Hrvatska kakvu želimo gledati. Jednostavna i brza, demonstrirala je ‘višak’ kvalitete u odnosu na protivnika. I spasa Austrijancima nije bilo. Prvi, veliki korak prema Parizu je napravljen. Danas slijedi okršaj s Nijemcima, a onda i susret s Alžirom za kraj, u nedjelju od 16.45. Protivnik je to koji bi, barem na papiru, trebao biti najmanja prijetnja. Ali polako... Uživajmo u klasiku s Njemačkom.

Koliko nam je Ivan Martinović nedostajao na prošlom Europskom prvenstvu, najbolje se vidjelo protiv Austrije. U prvoj utakmici kvalifikacija za Olimpijske igre hrvatski su rukometaši zahvaljujući furioznom drugom poluvremenu pobijedili Austriju s 35:29 (16:16).

Najzaslužniji za pobjednički start novog izbornika Dagura Sigurdssona upravo je Martinović koji je utakmicu završio s devet pogodaka. Bio je ovo možda i najvažniji okršaj za naše u Hannoveru, ali razloga za slavlje još uvijek nema. Hrvatskoj već danas od 14.30 slijedi dvoboj s Njemačkom.

Oni su u prvoj utakmici bez problema nadigrali Alžir s 41:29. Nakon što su bili domaćini Eura, i borba za Pariz odvija se na njihovom terenu.
