Lewis Hamilton je ove sezone prestigao Michaela Schumachera po broju ostvarenih pobjeda na utrkama Formule 1. Dostigao ga je i po broju osvojenih titula svjetskog prvaka. No, tko vodi u utrci za najbolji vozačem F1 svih vremena?
Britanac Hamilton je na kraju sezone stigao do brojke od 95 Grand Prix pobjeda. Legendarni Schumacher je u karijeri slavio u 91. utrci. Hamilton je taj broj mogao i dodatno povećati da ga nije spriječio koronavirus u pretposljednjoj utrci sezone u Bahreinu kada nije nastupio, odnosno što je posljedice preboljene bolesti njegov organizam još osjećao na zadnjoj utrci u Abu Dhabiju ( UA E) kada je osvojio treće mjesto. Hamilton se pak s Nijemcem ove sezone izjednačio po broju osvojenih titula prvaka svijeta, obojica su na koncu sezone bili najbolji sedam puta. A nijanse također odlučuju i kada se otvori pitanje tko je najveći vozač Formule 1 svih vremena.
Schumacher je karijeru u kojoj je dominirao u Benettonu pa dugo u Ferrariju konačno prekinuo 2012. godine, nakon neuspješnog pokušaja povratka na stazu u poznim sportskim godinama, vrlo sličnom onom imenjaka Jordana na parket u dresu Washington Wizardsa. Te tri sezone Schumachera na odlasku, bile su jedine u kojima su se Hamilton i on istovremeno natjecali u F1. A godinu kasnije je Schumacher stradao na skijanju, zadobio je teške ozljede glave. Nakon dugog boravka u induciranoj komi otad je na rehabilitaciji, ali s vrlo malim pomacima obavijenim velom misterije, daleko od očiju javnosti. Što je sigurno i pojačalo njegovu vozačku karizmu među ljubiteljima oktana i brzine.
Međutim, baš od tada Hamilton je potpuno zagospodario svijetom Formule 1. Uspio je ove sezone prestići Schumachera po broju pobjeda na utrkama, a dostići ga po broju osvojenih titula prvaka A s obzirom da ne najavljuje kako će tako skoro objesiti volan o klin, ima veliku priliku i samostalno zagospodariti baš svim najvažnijim rekordima ovog sporta . Kad smo u moru brojki, nije naodmet spomenuti ni da je Hamilton dosad vozio 40 utrka manje od Schumachera, 266 Britanac, 306 Nijemac. Naravno, mišljenja su različita. Ne zaustavljaju se mnogi ni isključivo na ovom dvoboju.
U neka druga vremena pedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća peterostruki prvak bio je Argentinac Juan Manuel Fangio. Alain Prost? Niki Lauda i njegova nevjerojatna priča? Mnogo fanova kada se ovo pitanje potegne ima Ayrton Senna. Mnogi Brazilca smatraju najvećim ikada, makar su njegove statističke brojke do šokantne pogibije u Imoli kada je imao 34 godine skromnije – tri titule prvaka i 41 pobjeda. Ali imao je beskompromisan stil vožnje koji se masama sviđao. Makar je ponekad znao prijeći granice. Doduše, ne toliko često kao Schumacher kojeg zbog toga vole ili mrze. Međutim, treba kod mahanja zastavom na crno-bijele kvadratiće u ovom izboru definitivno uzeti u obzir i bolide koje su imali na dispoziciji, konkurenciju pilota u to vrijeme...
F1 je jedan od sportova koji iz godine u godinu strahovito evoluiraju, motori, tehnologija, bolidi, gume... Stoga svakog pilota treba gledati i kroz prizmu tog vremena. Nije u brojkama sve. U očima vašeg autora samo je jedan jedini... Ne mislim na njega.

Lewis Hamilton je ove sezone prestigao Michaela Schumachera po broju ostvarenih pobjeda na utrkama Formule 1. Dostigao ga je i po broju osvojenih titula svjetskog prvaka. No, tko vodi u utrci za najbolji vozačem F1 svih vremena?
Britanac Hamilton je na kraju sezone stigao do brojke od 95 Grand Prix pobjeda. Legendarni Schumacher je u karijeri slavio u 91. utrci. Hamilton je taj broj mogao i dodatno povećati da ga nije spriječio koronavirus u pretposljednjoj utrci sezone u Bahreinu kada nije nastupio, odnosno što je posljedice preboljene bolesti njegov organizam još osjećao na zadnjoj utrci u Abu Dhabiju ( UA E) kada je osvojio treće mjesto. Hamilton se pak s Nijemcem ove sezone izjednačio po broju osvojenih titula prvaka svijeta, obojica su na koncu sezone bili najbolji sedam puta. A nijanse također odlučuju i kada se otvori pitanje tko je najveći vozač Formule 1 svih vremena.
Schumacher je karijeru u kojoj je dominirao u Benettonu pa dugo u Ferrariju konačno prekinuo 2012. godine, nakon neuspješnog pokušaja povratka na stazu u poznim sportskim godinama, vrlo sličnom onom imenjaka Jordana na parket u dresu Washington Wizardsa. Te tri sezone Schumachera na odlasku, bile su jedine u kojima su se Hamilton i on istovremeno natjecali u F1. A godinu kasnije je Schumacher stradao na skijanju, zadobio je teške ozljede glave. Nakon dugog boravka u induciranoj komi otad je na rehabilitaciji, ali s vrlo malim pomacima obavijenim velom misterije, daleko od očiju javnosti. Što je sigurno i pojačalo njegovu vozačku karizmu među ljubiteljima oktana i brzine.
Međutim, baš od tada Hamilton je potpuno zagospodario svijetom Formule 1. Uspio je ove sezone prestići Schumachera po broju pobjeda na utrkama, a dostići ga po broju osvojenih titula prvaka A s obzirom da ne najavljuje kako će tako skoro objesiti volan o klin, ima veliku priliku i samostalno zagospodariti baš svim najvažnijim rekordima ovog sporta . Kad smo u moru brojki, nije naodmet spomenuti ni da je Hamilton dosad vozio 40 utrka manje od Schumachera, 266 Britanac, 306 Nijemac. Naravno, mišljenja su različita. Ne zaustavljaju se mnogi ni isključivo na ovom dvoboju.
U neka druga vremena pedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća peterostruki prvak bio je Argentinac Juan Manuel Fangio. Alain Prost? Niki Lauda i njegova nevjerojatna priča? Mnogo fanova kada se ovo pitanje potegne ima Ayrton Senna. Mnogi Brazilca smatraju najvećim ikada, makar su njegove statističke brojke do šokantne pogibije u Imoli kada je imao 34 godine skromnije – tri titule prvaka i 41 pobjeda. Ali imao je beskompromisan stil vožnje koji se masama sviđao. Makar je ponekad znao prijeći granice. Doduše, ne toliko često kao Schumacher kojeg zbog toga vole ili mrze. Međutim, treba kod mahanja zastavom na crno-bijele kvadratiće u ovom izboru definitivno uzeti u obzir i bolide koje su imali na dispoziciji, konkurenciju pilota u to vrijeme...
F1 je jedan od sportova koji iz godine u godinu strahovito evoluiraju, motori, tehnologija, bolidi, gume... Stoga svakog pilota treba gledati i kroz prizmu tog vremena. Nije u brojkama sve. U očima vašeg autora samo je jedan jedini... Ne mislim na njega.
