Vaterpolisti Jadrana iz Splita su u Francuskoj, u Aix en Provanceu čeka ih prvi ovosezonski ispit i odmah na velikoj sceni.
Jadranaši su u drugom krugu kvalifikacija za Ligu prvaka, a da bi prošli u nokaut fazu kvalifikacija trebaju biti prvi ili drugi u skupini s iznimno jakim mađarskim Ferencvarošom, domaćim Pays d’Aixom te nizozemskim AZC Alphenom.
Jako je bitno za nastavak europskog puta u ovoj sezoni biti u dva u skupini, jer treće mjesto ove sezone znači i oproštaj od europskih natjecanja. Tek poraz u idućoj fazi, trećoj rundi kvalifikacija, donio bi jadranašima “transfer” u drugo po snazi klupsko europsko natjecanje – Eurokup.
– Ferencvaroš je jedan od kandidata i za osvajanje Lige prvaka, vjerujem da će oni lako proći dalje iz ove skupine, a odluka o drugome će pasti u dvoboju između nas i Francuza – vjeruje trener Jadrana Ivan Asić.
Jadran će danas igrati baš protiv Ferencvaroša, utakmica počinje u 18 sati, dok će u subotu u 19 igrati protiv domaćeg sastava, vjerojatno odlučujuću utakmicu. Dvoboj protiv Mađara u prvom kolu dobro će doći Asiću i igračima da se prilagode na bazen i dodatno uigraju u utakmici u kojoj će teško do pobjede, ali valja se i tu nadati.
Drugi splitski klub Mornar Brodospas pokušat će, pak, od danas kroz kvalifikacije pronaći mjesto u skupini tog Eurokupa. Smješteni su u kvalifikacijsku skupinu B koja će se igrati u Savoni, a uz domaću istoimenu momčad protivnici su im Marseille i Neukolln Berlin. Bit će to težak zadatak za mornarevce naći se među dvije najbolje momčadi, no valja se nadati. Za Marseille igra hrvatski reprezentativac Ante Vukičević, Talijani su puni domaćih igrača... Mornar otvara danas u 20 sati protiv Savone, u subotu u 18.30 protiv Marseillea, a u nedjelju kontra berlinskog sastava.
U kvalifikacijama Eurokupa je i riječko Primorje, njih čekaju okršaji sa OSC-om iz Budimpešte, beogradskim Partizanom i Duisburgom.

Vaterpolisti Jadrana iz Splita su u Francuskoj, u Aix en Provanceu čeka ih prvi ovosezonski ispit i odmah na velikoj sceni.
Jadranaši su u drugom krugu kvalifikacija za Ligu prvaka, a da bi prošli u nokaut fazu kvalifikacija trebaju biti prvi ili drugi u skupini s iznimno jakim mađarskim Ferencvarošom, domaćim Pays d’Aixom te nizozemskim AZC Alphenom.
Jako je bitno za nastavak europskog puta u ovoj sezoni biti u dva u skupini, jer treće mjesto ove sezone znači i oproštaj od europskih natjecanja. Tek poraz u idućoj fazi, trećoj rundi kvalifikacija, donio bi jadranašima “transfer” u drugo po snazi klupsko europsko natjecanje – Eurokup.
– Ferencvaroš je jedan od kandidata i za osvajanje Lige prvaka, vjerujem da će oni lako proći dalje iz ove skupine, a odluka o drugome će pasti u dvoboju između nas i Francuza – vjeruje trener Jadrana Ivan Asić.
Jadran će danas igrati baš protiv Ferencvaroša, utakmica počinje u 18 sati, dok će u subotu u 19 igrati protiv domaćeg sastava, vjerojatno odlučujuću utakmicu. Dvoboj protiv Mađara u prvom kolu dobro će doći Asiću i igračima da se prilagode na bazen i dodatno uigraju u utakmici u kojoj će teško do pobjede, ali valja se i tu nadati.
Drugi splitski klub Mornar Brodospas pokušat će, pak, od danas kroz kvalifikacije pronaći mjesto u skupini tog Eurokupa. Smješteni su u kvalifikacijsku skupinu B koja će se igrati u Savoni, a uz domaću istoimenu momčad protivnici su im Marseille i Neukolln Berlin. Bit će to težak zadatak za mornarevce naći se među dvije najbolje momčadi, no valja se nadati. Za Marseille igra hrvatski reprezentativac Ante Vukičević, Talijani su puni domaćih igrača... Mornar otvara danas u 20 sati protiv Savone, u subotu u 18.30 protiv Marseillea, a u nedjelju kontra berlinskog sastava.
U kvalifikacijama Eurokupa je i riječko Primorje, njih čekaju okršaji sa OSC-om iz Budimpešte, beogradskim Partizanom i Duisburgom.
