Reprezentacija Novog Zelanda odustala je od sudjelovanja na ceremoniji otvaranja Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju, zbog zabrinutosti oko koronavirusa.

- Naš tim neće prisustvovati ceremoniji otvaranja zbog vlastitih pravila i smjernica o Covid-19, čiji je cilj povećati sigurnost svojih članova što je više moguće - objavili su Novozelanđani na društvenuim mjerama.

Novi Zeland je od početka pandemije uveo strategiju "nulte bolesti", sa strogom kontrolom granice i ciljanim zatvaranjima zabilježivši samo 26 smrtnih slučajeva na populaciju od pet milijuna stanovnika.

Zemlja šest mjeseci nije identificirala nikakvu kontaminaciju, no prošlog tjedna je zabilježen jedan slučaj zbog čega je premijerka Jacinda Ardern objavila trodnevnu strogu blokadu zemlje, dok će u Aucklandu u kojem je zaražena osoba otkrivena, biti sedam dana "lockdowna".

Organizatori paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju, koje traju do 5. rujna, do sada su prijavili 161 slučaj Covid-19 povezan s događajem, uglavnom među osobljem s prebivalištem u Japanu.

Reprezentacija Novog Zelanda odustala je od sudjelovanja na ceremoniji otvaranja Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju, zbog zabrinutosti oko koronavirusa.

- Naš tim neće prisustvovati ceremoniji otvaranja zbog vlastitih pravila i smjernica o Covid-19, čiji je cilj povećati sigurnost svojih članova što je više moguće - objavili su Novozelanđani na društvenuim mjerama.

Novi Zeland je od početka pandemije uveo strategiju "nulte bolesti", sa strogom kontrolom granice i ciljanim zatvaranjima zabilježivši samo 26 smrtnih slučajeva na populaciju od pet milijuna stanovnika.

Novi Zeland odustao od svečanosti otvaranja zbog Covida: Cilj povećati sigurnost svojih članova što je više moguće

Reprezentacija Novog Zelanda odustala je od sudjelovanja na ceremoniji otvaranja Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju, zbog zabrinutosti oko koronavirusa.

- Naš tim neće prisustvovati ceremoniji otvaranja zbog vlastitih pravila i smjernica o Covid-19, čiji je cilj povećati sigurnost svojih članova što je više moguće - objavili su Novozelanđani na društvenuim mjerama.

Novi Zeland je od početka pandemije uveo strategiju "nulte bolesti", sa strogom kontrolom granice i ciljanim zatvaranjima zabilježivši samo 26 smrtnih slučajeva na populaciju od pet milijuna stanovnika.

Zemlja šest mjeseci nije identificirala nikakvu kontaminaciju, no prošlog tjedna je zabilježen jedan slučaj zbog čega je premijerka Jacinda Ardern objavila trodnevnu strogu blokadu zemlje, dok će u Aucklandu...
