Hrvatska vaterpolska reprezentacija otvorila je svoj nastup na 18. Svjetskom prvenstvu u vaterpolu odličnom igrom i pobjedom nad Australijom rezultatom 14: 4 (4:1, 2:1, 4:0, 4:2).

- Mislim da smo odigrali jednu briljantnu utakmicu, potpuno psihološki pripremljeni za početak turnira i za ovako teškog protivnika, što nakon ovakvog rezultata čovjek ne bi rekao. Čestitke mojim momcima, odlična izvedba u svim segmentima vaterpolske igre. No sada moramo zaboraviti utakmicu čim prije, to ću čim sjednemo u autobus reći i igračima. Na ovu utakmicu ostaje jedna lijepa uspomena, no to je završena priča.

- Idemo dalje. Nemamo puno vremena, čeka nas još jedan protivnik, vrlo sličan, Amerika. Pobjedom protiv njih osiguravamo četvrtfinale. No još je puno posla pred nama. Nismo niti počeli. Ipak, zaista moram biti zadovoljan s igrom koju smo danas pokazali, mislim da je ovo na granici fenomenalnog – rekao je izbornik Ivica Tucak.


Ante Vukičević je zabilježio šest pogodaka, Miloš dva, potom Macan, Lončar, Joković, Benić, Bušlje i Vrlić po jedan. Marko Bijač je zabilježio odličnih 12 obrana.

- Čestitam dečkima, bili smo super u svim segmentima, posebno u obrani koja je vrhunski funkcionirala, primili smo samo četiri gola, odlično zatvorili njihovu igru s dva centra, a Marko je bio odličan na golu. U napadu smo također bili super raspoloženi, puni raznovrsnih rješenja.

- Uvijek smo fizički dobro spremni i pripremljeni, prilagodili smo se na ovu veliku vremensku razliku. Pred nama je utakmica s Amerikancima, treba ju probati što bolje odigrati kako bi pobijedili i ostvarili svoj cilj, a to je prvo mjesto u skupini. Nakon toga možemo mirno čekali četvrtfinale – rekao je najbolji strijelac utakmice, Ante Vukičević.

Hrvatska vaterpolska reprezentacija otvorila je svoj nastup na 18. Svjetskom prvenstvu u vaterpolu odličnom igrom i pobjedom nad Australijom rezultatom 14: 4 (4:1, 2:1, 4:0, 4:2).

- Mislim da smo odigrali jednu briljantnu utakmicu, potpuno psihološki pripremljeni za početak turnira i za ovako teškog protivnika, što nakon ovakvog rezultata čovjek ne bi rekao. Čestitke mojim momcima, odlična izvedba u svim segmentima vaterpolske igre. No sada moramo zaboraviti utakmicu čim prije, to ću čim sjednemo u autobus reći i igračima. Na ovu utakmicu ostaje jedna lijepa uspomena, no to je završena priča.

- Idemo dalje. Nemamo puno vremena, čeka nas još jedan protivnik, vrlo sličan, Amerika. Pobjedom protiv njih osiguravamo četvrtfinale. No još je puno posla pred nama. Nismo niti počeli. Ipak, zaista moram biti zadovoljan s igrom koju smo danas pokazali, mislim da je ovo na granici fenomenalnog – rekao je izbornik Ivica Tucak.


Ante Vukičević je zabilježio šest pogodaka, Miloš dva, potom Macan, Lončar, Joković, Benić, Bušlje i Vrlić po jedan. Marko Bijač je zabilježio odličnih 12 obrana.

- Čestitam dečkima, bili smo super u svim segmentima, posebno u obrani koja je vrhunski funkcionirala, primili smo samo četiri gola, odlično zatvorili njihovu igru s dva centra, a Marko je bio odličan na golu. U napadu smo također bili super raspoloženi, puni raznovrsnih rješenja.

- Uvijek smo fizički dobro spremni i pripremljeni, prilagodili smo se na ovu veliku vremensku razliku. Pred nama je utakmica s Amerikancima, treba ju probati što bolje odigrati kako bi pobijedili i ostvarili svoj cilj, a to je prvo mjesto u skupini. Nakon toga možemo mirno čekali četvrtfinale – rekao je najbolji strijelac utakmice, Ante Vukičević.
