Francuz Victor Wembanyama proglašen je "rookiejem godine", objavila je u ponedjeljak NBA liga.

Dvadesetogodišnji Wembanyama, koji je u lipnju 2023. bio prvi izbor San Antonio Spursana draftu, prvi je Francuz koji je dobio ovu nagradu i treći Europljanin nakon Španjolca Paua Gasola (2002.) i Slovenca Luke Dončića (2019.) koji se okitio titulom rookijea godine.

"Znao sam da moram biti dobar individualno i dominantan na terenu, kako bih stigao tu", rekao je Wembanyama za TNT.

Iako njegova momčad nije ove sezone ostvarila neki rezultat, sezonu su završili kao 14. na Zapadu, prva NBA sezona francuskog košarkaša visokog 2,24 m bila je uspješna na individualnoj razini. U 71 od 82 utakmice koliko je odigrao ove sezone Francuz je u prosjeku bilježio 21,4 poena, 10,6 skokova, 3,9 asistencija i 3,6 blokada.

Također je postao jedan od miljenika navijača: bio je treći igrač koji je skupio najviše video pregleda na društvenim mrežama (1,3 milijarde) prema NBA, iza superzvijezda LeBrona Jamesa (1,9) i Stephena Curryja (1,7).

Francuz Victor Wembanyama proglašen je "rookiejem godine", objavila je u ponedjeljak NBA liga.

Dvadesetogodišnji Wembanyama, koji je u lipnju 2023. bio prvi izbor San Antonio Spursana draftu, prvi je Francuz koji je dobio ovu nagradu i treći Europljanin nakon Španjolca Paua Gasola (2002.) i Slovenca Luke Dončića (2019.) koji se okitio titulom rookijea godine.

Iako njegova momčad nije ove sezone ostvarila neki rezultat, sezonu su završili kao 14. na Zapadu, prva NBA sezona francuskog košarkaša visokog 2,24 m bila je uspješna na individualnoj razini. U 71 od 82 utakmice koliko je odigrao ove sezone Francuz je u prosjeku bilježio 21,4 poena, 10,6 skokova, 3,9 asistencija i 3,6 blokada.

Također je postao jedan od miljenika navijača: bio je treći igrač koji je skupio najviše video pregleda na društvenim mrežama (1,3 milijarde) prema NBA, iza superzvijezda LeBrona Jamesa (1,9) i Stephena Curryja (1,7).

Victor Wembanyama ‘rookie‘ godine: ‘Znao sam da moram biti dominantan na terenu‘

Francuz Victor Wembanyama proglašen je "rookiejem godine", objavila je u ponedjeljak NBA liga.

Dvadesetogodišnji Wembanyama, koji je u lipnju 2023. bio prvi izbor San Antonio Spursana draftu, prvi je Francuz koji je dobio ovu nagradu i treći Europljanin nakon Španjolca Paua Gasola (2002.) i Slovenca Luke Dončića (2019.) koji se okitio titulom rookijea godine.

"Znao sam da moram biti dobar individualno i dominantan na terenu, kako bih stigao tu", rekao je Wembanyama za TNT.

Iako njegova momčad nije ove sezone ostvarila neki rezultat, sezonu su završili kao 14. na Zapadu, prva NBA sezona francuskog košarkaša visokog 2,24 m bila je uspješna na individualnoj razini. U 71 od 82 utakmice koliko je odigrao ove sezone Francuz je u prosjeku bilježio 21,4 poena, 10,6 skokova, 3,9 asistencija i 3,6 blokada.

Također je postao jedan od miljenika navijača: bio je treći igrač koji je skupio najviše video pregleda na društvenim mrežama (1,3 milijarde) prema NBA, iza superzvijezda LeBrona Jamesa (1,9) i Stephena Curryja (1,7).
