Lijepo je imati kućnog ljubimca. Oni nas mogu osvojiti jednim pogledom i maženjem, ali to je velika odgovornost o kojoj treba dobro razmisliti prije nego što se konačno i odlučite na udomljavanje mačke ili psa. Naravno, opcija je i kupnja ako preferirate konkretne pasmine, no i stručnjaci naglašavaju da se ništa ne može usporediti sa zahvalnošću koju će pokazati životinja kojoj ste spasili život, piše Jutarnji list.

Kućni ljubimac je velika odgovornost, on je član obitelji, biće o kojem treba brinuti i zato na takvo nešto treba biti spreman. Kako biste razumjeli na što sve obratiti pažnju, ovo je nekoliko savjeta veterinara, piše City magazin.

Pripremite prostor

Prije svega, bitno je imati dovoljno prostora za novog ljubimca u svojem domu, kako bi se oni mogli slobodno kretati. Provjerite postoji li u vašem domu nešto što bi moglo smetati vašim budućim ljubimcima - nešto lomljivo što bi ih moglo povrijediti ili biljke od kojih se mogu otrovati. Pomaknite stvari s nižih na više police ili ih maknite u prostorije u koje ljubimac neće ulaziti i osigurajte im dio doma koji će biti samo za njih, koji će im biti svojevrsni “sigurni prostor”. “Sigurni prostor” osobito je važan za mačke – one će ga uvijek koristiti kadgod se osjete preplašeno ili ugroženo, i nakon što godinama žive s ljudima.

Nađite veterinara

Čim udomite ljubimca, treba obaviti sve nužne preglede, a za to je najbolje imati veterinara koji vam je blizu. Također, dobro je znati gdje se veterinar nalazi i prije nego što ljubimac dođe, kako ne biste morali dugo lutati u slučaju da hitno morate kod njega.

Važno je imati sve medicinske podatke o svom ljubimcu, a i o porijeklu, kako bi veterinar znao na što obratiti pažnju prilikom pregleda. On vam može dati i savjete o prehrani i preporuke za šetnje i druge aktivnosti. Ujedno, ovdje treba uzeti u obzir i financijski segment jer kućni ljubimac košta, ali veterinar se ne smije zaobići.

Zapamtite: ovo je za njihov cijeli život

Možda to nije za vaš cijeli život, ali za njih jest. Bez obzira na to udomljavate li ili kupujete štene, mačića ili odraslu životinju, to je živo biće za koje ste vi odgovorni i bit ćete u idućih desetak, a možda i dvadesetak godina, ako bude sreće.

Najvažnije je biti strpljiv, ne očekivati da je u pitanju igračka i nešto što ispunjava vaše slobodno vrijeme, već još jedna individua koja ima potrebe, ali koja će vam vratiti sav trud kroz neizmjernu ljubav, piše Jutarnji list.

Lijepo je imati kućnog ljubimca. Oni nas mogu osvojiti jednim pogledom i maženjem, ali to je velika odgovornost o kojoj treba dobro razmisliti prije nego što se konačno i odlučite na udomljavanje mačke ili psa. Pomaknite stvari s nižih na više police ili ih maknite u prostorije u koje ljubimac neće ulaziti i osigurajte im dio doma koji će biti samo za njih, koji će im biti svojevrsni “sigurni prostor”. “Sigurni prostor” osobito je važan za mačke – one će ga uvijek koristiti kadgod se osjete preplašeno ili ugroženo, i nakon što godinama žive s ljudima.

Nađite veterinara

Čim udomite ljubimca, treba obaviti sve nužne preglede, a za to je najbolje imati veterinara koji vam je blizu. Također, dobro je znati gdje se veterinar nalazi i prije nego što ljubimac dođe, kako ne biste morali dugo lutati u slučaju da hitno morate kod njega.

Važno je imati sve medicinske podatke o svom ljubimcu, a i o porijeklu, kako bi veterinar znao na što obratiti pažnju prilikom pregleda. On vam može dati i savjete o prehrani i preporuke za šetnje i druge aktivnosti. Ujedno, ovdje treba uzeti u obzir i financijski segment jer kućni ljubimac košta, ali veterinar se ne smije zaobići.

Zapamtite: ovo je za njihov cijeli život

Možda to nije za vaš cijeli život, ali za njih jest. Bez obzira na to udomljavate li ili kupujete štene, mačića ili odraslu životinju, to je živo biće za koje ste vi odgovorni i bit ćete u idućih desetak, a možda i dvadesetak godina, ako bude sreće.

Najvažnije je biti strpljiv, ne očekivati da je u pitanju igračka i nešto što ispunjava vaše slobodno vrijeme, već još jedna individua koja ima potrebe, ali koja će vam vratiti sav trud kroz neizmjernu ljubav, piše Jutarnji list.

Lijepo je imati kućnog ljubimca. Oni nas mogu osvojiti jednim pogledom i maženjem, ali to je velika odgovornost o kojoj treba dobro razmisliti prije nego što se konačno i odlučite na udomljavanje mačke ili psa. Naravno, opcija je i kupnja ako preferirate konkretne pasmine, no i stručnjaci naglašavaju da se ništa ne može usporediti sa zahvalnošću koju će pokazati životinja kojoj ste spasili život, piše Jutarnji list.
