Dosad bi svatko to već trebao znati - nošenje maske u javnosti pomaže u suzbijanju širenja koronavirusa, no neki svejedno imaju problem s njezinom upotrebom. Nose je, ali njome prekrivaju samo usta, ne i nos. 

Ugledni njemački virolog ističe da takvo korištenje nema nikakvog smisla. 

Svrha maske je zadržati čestice koje njezin nositelj odašilje kad govori, kašlje ili kiše, kaže dr. Jonas Schmidt-Chanasit. Time druge štiti od moguće zaraze. 

Do određene mjere, maska štiti i nositelja od udisanja čestica drugih. 

Ali ako nos ostane otkriven, čestice imaju izravan put u organizam i to je gotovo kao da uopće ne nosite masku, naglašava Schmidt-Chanasit. 

Ispravno bi bilo i masku ne dodirivati rukama i koristiti je jedino uz pomoć trakica za skidanje ili stavljanje. 

Schmidt-Chanasit kaže da je dobra zamisao nositi masku kad god ste blizu drugih ljudi dulje vrijeme, primjerice u autobusu.

Mogućnost zaraze nije vjerojatna ako ste pokraj nekoga tijekom kraćeg vremena. "Deset do 15 minuta, to je kritična točka", rekao je. 

Na mnogim mjestima nošenje maske je obvezno. 

No one se ne mogu nositi dovoljno čvrsto da bi osobu zaštitile od aerosola, još manjih čestica u zraku, koje lako mogu dospjeti do usta i s bočnih strana.

Njemački virolog još jednom podsjeća kako to znači da i s maskom treba voditi računa o držanju fizičkog razmaka.

Dosad bi svatko to već trebao znati - nošenje maske u javnosti pomaže u suzbijanju širenja koronavirusa, no neki svejedno imaju problem s njezinom upotrebom. Nose je, ali njome prekrivaju samo usta, ne i nos. 

Ugledni njemački virolog ističe da takvo korištenje nema nikakvog smisla. 

Svrha maske je zadržati čestice koje njezin nositelj odašilje kad govori, kašlje ili kiše, kaže dr. Jonas Schmidt-Chanasit. Time druge štiti od moguće zaraze. 

Do određene mjere, maska štiti i nositelja od udisanja čestica drugih. 

Ali ako nos ostane otkriven, čestice imaju izravan put u organizam i to je gotovo kao da uopće ne nosite masku, naglašava Schmidt-Chanasit. 

Ispravno bi bilo i masku ne dodirivati rukama i koristiti je jedino uz pomoć trakica za skidanje ili stavljanje. 

Schmidt-Chanasit kaže da je dobra zamisao nositi masku kad god ste blizu drugih ljudi dulje vrijeme, primjerice u autobusu.

Mogućnost zaraze nije vjerojatna ako ste pokraj nekoga tijekom kraćeg vremena. "Deset do 15 minuta, to je kritična točka", rekao je. 

Na mnogim mjestima nošenje maske je obvezno. 

No one se ne mogu nositi dovoljno čvrsto da bi osobu zaštitile od aerosola, još manjih čestica u zraku, koje lako mogu dospjeti do usta i s bočnih strana.

Njemački virolog još jednom podsjeća kako to znači da i s maskom treba voditi računa o držanju fizičkog razmaka.

Ugledni njemački virolog upozorava: Nosite zaštitu i preko nosa. Ako je otkriven, to je gotovo kao da uopće ne nosite masku!

Dosad bi svatko to već trebao znati - nošenje maske u javnosti pomaže u suzbijanju širenja koronavirusa, no neki svejedno imaju problem s njezinom upotrebom. Nose je, ali njome prekrivaju samo usta, ne i nos. 

Ugledni njemački virolog ističe da takvo korištenje nema nikakvog smisla. 

Svrha maske je zadržati čestice koje njezin nositelj odašilje kad govori, kašlje ili kiše, kaže dr. Jonas Schmidt-Chanasit. Time druge štiti od moguće zaraze. 

Do određene mjere, maska štiti i nositelja od udisanja čestica drugih. 

Ali ako nos ostane otkriven, čestice imaju izravan put u organizam i to je gotovo kao da uopće ne nosite masku, naglašava Schmidt-Chanasit. 

Ispravno bi bilo i masku ne dodirivati rukama i koristiti je jedino uz pomoć trakica za skidanje ili stavljanje. ...
