Hrvatska po posljednjim dostupnim statističkim podacima bilježi gotovo tri tisuće novooboljelih i gotovo 900 umrlih žena godišnje od raka dojke.

Uz liječenje i hrabru životnu borbu, žene se u velikom broju slučajeva moraju suočiti s odstranjivanjem oboljele dojke, što uzrokuje gubitak samopouzdanja i snažan stres koji negativno utječe na uspjeh liječenja.

U povodu obilježavanja šeste javnozdravstvene akcije "Bra day & Dan dojki" u Hrvatskoj, svoju životnu priču o borbi s rakom podijelila je 57-godišnja majka i supruga Tatjana Micek, kojoj su odstranjene i rekonstruirane obje dojke.

Tatjana se s dijagnozom suočila na redovnom kontrolnom ultrazvučnom pregledu, na koji je došla bez ikakvih simptoma bolesti.

Otkriven joj je povećan limfni čvor, a na dodatnim pretragama HER-2 pozitivan karcinom dojke.

Činjenica da se na samom UZV pregledu dojke još nije vidjela prisutnost tumora, već tek na detaljnijim pretragama, upozorava na životnu važnost preventivnih pregleda upravo onda kada ništa ne upućuje da nešto nije u redu.

Sve se poklopilo s pandemijom

– Kao i svaka osoba koja dozna da boluje od karcinoma, moje prve reakcije su bile nevjerica, strah i pitanje zar se to meni stvarno događa. Bilo je suza i teških trenutaka.

U mom slučaju tijek liječenja poklopio se s pandemijom COVID-a 19, što je cijelu stvar kompliciralo.

Iako smo svi u obitelji iznimno pazili i u potpunosti smanjili kontakte, u prosincu 2020. potvrđena mi je infekcija COVID-19.

Srećom, sam tijek bolesti prošao je uz minimalne simptome, ali sam nekoliko mjeseci poslije imala prilično ozbiljne post-COVID posljedice – ističe Tatjana Micek i dodaje koliko joj je rekonstrukcija obiju dojki pomogla u samopouzdanju i nošenju s bolešću.

Strategije liječenja stresa

– Doc. dr. Domagoj Eljuga napravio mi je rekonstrukciju obiju dojki. Dobila sam ponovno izgrađene dojke sukladne obliku tijela uz ostvarene najbolje moguće estetske rezultate.

Uspješno učinjena rekonstrukcija grudi vratila mi je samopouzdanje jer sam na neki način vratila izgled tijela i osjećaj iz vremena prije suočenja s rakom dojke – kaže Tatjana Micek.

Psihološka podrška ne smije prestati kad prestane aktivno liječenje, a upravo u tome preko javnozdravstvene akcije "Bra day & Dan dojki" te brojnim drugim akcijama pomaže Hrvatska liga protiv raka.

“Studije pokazuju da su pacijentice koje su prolazile strategije liječenja stresa i anksioznosti imale 45% manji rizik povrata bolesti i 56-68% manji rizik mortaliteta”, istaknula je dr. med. Martina Bašić Koretić, spec. onkologije i radioterapije.

Na ovogodišnjem "Danu dojki" pokretač "Bra daya" u Hrvatskoj doc. dr. sc. Domagoj Eljuga održao je predavanje o novostima u liječenju i terapiji, suvremenim mogućnostima rekonstrukcije ako je dojka uklonjena zbog raka te edukaciju o prevenciji raka dojke.

Poticaj za druge

– Ponosan sam na sve hrabre žene koje u ovoj kampanji svojim primjerom i javnim iznošenjem vlastitih priča o liječenju i pozitivnim ishodima rekonstrukcije poticajno utječu na sve one kojima tek predstoji suočavanje s dijagnozom raka dojke.

Tim načinom daju nadu svim ženama da zajednički možemo prevladati sve izazove i da na tom putu nikad neće biti same – istaknuo je onkoplastični kirurg doc. dr. sc. Domagoj Eljuga.

Inicijalni koncept "Bra daya" u Kanadi je osmislio plastični kirurg dr. Mitchell Brown 2011. godine, a u Hrvatskoj je prije šest godina obilježen prvi put na inicijativu onkoplastičnog kirurga i stručnog tajnika Lige doc. dr. sc. Domagoja Eljuge. Iz godine u godinu ovim projektom educiraju se brojne žene.

Višegodišnji zajednički napori i podizanje svijesti o životno važnim koracima prevencije bez sumnje spašavaju živote i grade temelje za još bolju i zdraviju budućnost.

Hrvatska po posljednjim dostupnim statističkim podacima bilježi gotovo tri tisuće novooboljelih i gotovo 900 umrlih žena godišnje od raka dojke.

Uz liječenje i hrabru životnu borbu, žene se u velikom broju slučajeva moraju suočiti s odstranjivanjem oboljele dojke, što uzrokuje gubitak samopouzdanja i snažan stres koji negativno utječe na uspjeh liječenja.

U povodu obilježavanja šeste javnozdravstvene akcije "Bra day & Dan dojki" u Hrvatskoj, svoju životnu priču o borbi s rakom podijelila je 57-godišnja majka i supruga Tatjana Micek, kojoj su odstranjene i rekonstruirane obje dojke.

Tatjana se s dijagnozom suočila na redovnom kontrolnom ultrazvučnom pregledu, na koji je došla bez ikakvih simptoma bolesti.

Otkriven joj je povećan limfni čvor, a na dodatnim pretragama HER-2 pozitivan karcinom dojke.

Činjenica da se na samom UZV pregledu dojke još nije vidjela prisutnost tumora, već tek na detaljnijim pretragama, upozorava na životnu važnost preventivnih pregleda upravo onda kada ništa ne upućuje da nešto nije u redu.

Sve se poklopilo s pandemijom

– Kao i svaka osoba koja dozna da boluje od karcinoma, moje prve reakcije su bile nevjerica, strah i pitanje zar se to meni stvarno događa. Bilo je suza i teških trenutaka.

U mom slučaju tijek liječenja poklopio se s pandemijom COVID-a 19, što je cijelu stvar kompliciralo.

Iako smo svi u obitelji iznimno pazili i u potpunosti smanjili kontakte, u prosincu 2020. potvrđena mi je infekcija COVID-19.

Srećom, sam tijek bolesti prošao je uz minimalne simptome, ali sam nekoliko mjeseci poslije imala prilično ozbiljne post-COVID posljedice – ističe Tatjana Micek i dodaje koliko joj je rekonstrukcija obiju dojki pomogla u samopouzdanju i nošenju s bolešću.

Strategije liječenja stresa

– Doc. dr. Domagoj Eljuga napravio mi je rekonstrukciju obiju dojki. Dobila sam ponovno izgrađene dojke sukladne obliku tijela uz ostvarene najbolje moguće estetske rezultate.

Uspješno učinjena rekonstrukcija grudi vratila mi je samopouzdanje jer sam na neki način vratila izgled tijela i osjećaj iz vremena prije suočenja s rakom dojke – kaže Tatjana Micek.

Psihološka podrška ne smije prestati kad prestane aktivno liječenje, a upravo u tome preko javnozdravstvene akcije "Bra day & Dan dojki" te brojnim drugim akcijama pomaže Hrvatska liga protiv raka.

“Studije pokazuju da su pacijentice koje su prolazile strategije liječenja stresa i anksioznosti imale 45% manji rizik povrata bolesti i 56-68% manji rizik mortaliteta”, istaknula je dr. med. Martina Bašić Koretić, spec. onkologije i radioterapije.

Na ovogodišnjem "Danu dojki" pokretač "Bra daya" u Hrvatskoj doc. dr. sc. Domagoj Eljuga održao je predavanje o novostima u liječenju i terapiji, suvremenim mogućnostima rekonstrukcije ako je dojka uklonjena zbog raka te edukaciju o prevenciji raka dojke.

Poticaj za druge

– Ponosan sam na sve hrabre žene koje u ovoj kampanji svojim primjerom i javnim iznošenjem vlastitih priča o liječenju i pozitivnim ishodima rekonstrukcije poticajno utječu na sve one kojima tek predstoji suočavanje s dijagnozom raka dojke.

Tim načinom daju nadu svim ženama da zajednički možemo prevladati sve izazove i da na tom putu nikad neće biti same – istaknuo je onkoplastični kirurg doc. dr. sc. Domagoj Eljuga.

Inicijalni koncept "Bra daya" u Kanadi je osmislio plastični kirurg dr. Mitchell Brown 2011. godine, a u Hrvatskoj je prije šest godina obilježen prvi put na inicijativu onkoplastičnog kirurga i stručnog tajnika Lige doc. dr. sc. Domagoja Eljuge. Iz godine u godinu ovim projektom educiraju se brojne žene.

Višegodišnji zajednički napori i podizanje svijesti o životno važnim koracima prevencije bez sumnje spašavaju živote i grade temelje za još bolju i zdraviju budućnost.
