Pitanje koje na pameti ima svatko od obožavatelj(ic)a "Seksa i grada" postavlja se odmah pri početku nestrpljivo očekivane nove sezone popularne serije, naslovljene "I tek tako...".

"Gdje je četvrta mušketirka", pitaju Carrie Bradshaw, Mirandu Hobbes i Charlotte York Goldenblat (Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kirstin Davis), ciljajući, naravno, na njihovu prijateljicu, nezaboravnu žderačicu muškaraca Samanthu Jones (Kim Cattrall).

"Oh, više nije s nama", uslijedi odgovor, uz dodatak: "Ne, nije umrla. Mislim, nije ovdje s nama, u Londonu je, preselila se u Britaniju zbog posla...".

Nedugo nakon toga, Samantha je opet spomenuta u razgovoru između Mirande i Carrie. "Znaš, i jest kao da je umrla, i ne razgovaramo o njoj", opazi Miranda.

"Što možemo reći", slegne ramenima Carrie i otkrije da su se razišle oko posla, kad je otpustila Samanthu kao publicistikinju, a ona nju kao prijateljicu jer kreatori serije morali su nekako opravdati njezinu odsutnost nakon što je Cattrall odbila vratiti se ulozi.

"Mislila sam da sam joj više od bankomata", veli Carrie, nakon čega doznajemo da su joj sve tri pisale poruke i zvale je, ali ona se nije javila.

"Mislila sam da ćemo nas četiri biti prijateljice zauvijek", doda Carrie. I publika je to mislila, ali izostanak Samanthe samo je jedan u nizu pokazatelja da se dosta toga promijenilo u "Sex and the City" u odnosu na prije, iako "And Just Like That..." u prvoj sceni s trima prijateljicama na ručku u "fensi šmensi" restoranu pokušava ostaviti dojam da je sve ostalo isto.

Promijenio se i cijeli svijet otkako smo posljednji put vidjeli Carrie i ekipu u filmu "Seks i grad 2" iz 2010., kamoli od 1998., kad je serija na visokim potpeticama docupkala na male ekrane i postala fenomen do zadnje epizode emitirane 2004. godine.

Od 2010. naovamo dogodili su se korona, "woke" kultura i #MeToo pokret, a neke nove serije o seksu i/li gradu stekle su naklonost (ženske) publike poput "Bridgertona" i "Emily u Parizu".

Ovogodišnji "Sex and the City" želi biti u trendu i relevantan pa se o koroni govori, u priču su uvedeni gay i ne-binarne osobe koje savjetuju Carrie da "isturi svoju picu" i likovi su svjesni novih serija (Faca kaže Carrie "To je bilo u stilu 'Bridgertona'...").

Izgleda kao da se "I tek tako..." opravdava za "Seks i grad", u smislu da su njegove četiri žene bjelkinje i "straight", pa pazi na političku korektnost umjesto da prirodno ide dalje, kao što glumice prilično prirodno uskaču u svoje likove i nastavljaju druženje.

Serija je, zasad, suviše opterećena time, kao i fizičkim nestankom Samanthe iz "Sex and the City" svemira, stoga na kraju prve epizode šokira smrću jednog važnog lika, naizgled više kako bi publika imala o čemu drugome govoriti nego što je to zaista bilo "potrebno".

Srećom, nije sve u tome i "And Just Like That..." znade podsjetiti na srž "Seksa i grada", pronađenu ispod površine šljokičaste fantazije s koktelima i ormarima dizajnerskih cipela koje će Carrie, dakako, opet nositi.

Nova sezona može učvrstiti bazu fanova kad se oslanja na intimno prijateljstvo sada triju žena koje se nalaze u pedesetima i snalaze u svijetu koji kao da je krenuo dalje bez njih i njihove serije.

Carrie i co. stavljaju naočale za čitanje, govore o bojenju sijede kose, suočavaju se sa seksualnim odrastanjem djece (Miranda je stala na sinov kondom).

"I tek tako..." ima potencijala (p)ostati serija o ženama u pedesetima kakve baš i ne dobivaju mjesto na malim ekranima pored mladih ženskih likova, znatno mlađih i od njih samih početkom dvijetisućitih.

Pitanje koje na pameti ima svatko od obožavatelj(ic)a "Seksa i grada" postavlja se odmah pri početku nestrpljivo očekivane nove sezone popularne serije, naslovljene "I tek tako...".

"Gdje je četvrta mušketirka", pitaju Carrie Bradshaw, Mirandu Hobbes i Charlotte York Goldenblat (Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kirstin Davis), ciljajući, naravno, na njihovu prijateljicu, nezaboravnu žderačicu muškaraca Samanthu Jones (Kim Cattrall).

"Oh, više nije s nama", uslijedi odgovor, uz dodatak: "Ne, nije umrla. Mislim, nije ovdje s nama, u Londonu je, preselila se u Britaniju zbog posla...".

Nedugo nakon toga, Samantha je opet spomenuta u razgovoru između Mirande i Carrie. "Znaš, i jest kao da je umrla, i ne razgovaramo o njoj", opazi Miranda.

"Što možemo reći", slegne ramenima Carrie i otkrije da su se razišle oko posla, kad je otpustila Samanthu kao publicistikinju, a ona nju kao prijateljicu jer kreatori serije morali su nekako opravdati njezinu odsutnost nakon što je Cattrall odbila vratiti se ulozi.

"Mislila sam da sam joj više od bankomata", veli Carrie, nakon čega doznajemo da su joj sve tri pisale poruke i zvale je, ali ona se nije javila.

"Mislila sam da ćemo nas četiri biti prijateljice zauvijek", doda Carrie. I publika je to mislila, ali izostanak Samanthe samo je jedan u nizu pokazatelja da se dosta toga promijenilo u "Sex and the City" u odnosu na prije, iako "And Just Like That..." u prvoj sceni s trima prijateljicama na ručku u "fensi šmensi" restoranu pokušava ostaviti dojam da je sve ostalo isto.

Promijenio se i cijeli svijet otkako smo posljednji put vidjeli Carrie i ekipu u filmu "Seks i grad 2" iz 2010., kamoli od 1998., kad je serija na visokim potpeticama docupkala na male ekrane i postala fenomen do zadnje epizode emitirane 2004. godine.

Od 2010. naovamo dogodili su se korona, "woke" kultura i #MeToo pokret, a neke nove serije o seksu i/li gradu stekle su naklonost (ženske) publike poput "Bridgertona" i "Emily u Parizu".

Ovogodišnji "Sex and the City" želi biti u trendu i relevantan pa se o koroni govori, u priču su uvedeni gay i ne-binarne osobe koje savjetuju Carrie da "isturi svoju picu" i likovi su svjesni novih serija (Faca kaže Carrie "To je bilo u stilu 'Bridgertona'...").

Izgleda kao da se "I tek tako..." opravdava za "Seks i grad", u smislu da su njegove četiri žene bjelkinje i "straight", pa pazi na političku korektnost umjesto da prirodno ide dalje, kao što glumice prilično prirodno uskaču u svoje likove i nastavljaju druženje.

Serija je, zasad, suviše opterećena time, kao i fizičkim nestankom Samanthe iz "Sex and the City" svemira, stoga na kraju prve epizode šokira smrću jednog važnog lika, naizgled više kako bi publika imala o čemu drugome govoriti nego što je to zaista bilo "potrebno".

Srećom, nije sve u tome i "And Just Like That..." znade podsjetiti na srž "Seksa i grada", pronađenu ispod površine šljokičaste fantazije s koktelima i ormarima dizajnerskih cipela koje će Carrie, dakako, opet nositi.

Nova sezona može učvrstiti bazu fanova kad se oslanja na intimno prijateljstvo sada triju žena koje se nalaze u pedesetima i snalaze u svijetu koji kao da je krenuo dalje bez njih i njihove serije.

Carrie i co. stavljaju naočale za čitanje, govore o bojenju sijede kose, suočavaju se sa seksualnim odrastanjem djece (Miranda je stala na sinov kondom).

"I tek tako..." ima potencijala (p)ostati serija o ženama u pedesetima kakve baš i ne dobivaju mjesto na malim ekranima pored mladih ženskih likova, znatno mlađih i od njih samih početkom dvijetisućitih.
