"Što ako te bude varala?" – "Priča o mojoj ženi" (2021.)

Plasiranje "Priče o mojoj ženi" ("A feleségem története"/"The Story Of My Wife") u distribuciju po multipleksima i ostalim kinima sredinom lipnja prilično je subverzivan potez. Istina, na plakatu je Lea Seydoux ("Adelin život", "Zoe", "Samo je kraj svijeta", "France"), glavna zvijezda filma poznata multipleks publici po ulogama u "Za smrt nema vremena" i "Francuskoj depeši".

No, "Priča o mojoj ženi" je gotovo trosatna romantična drama europske art provenijencije, snimljena u "europuding" koprodukciji Mađarske, Njemačke, Francuse i Italije. Ilustracije radi, toliko ne traje nijedan film s ovogodišnjeg FMFS-a, za razliku od onih sa Subversivea kojemu "The Story Of My Wife" začudo nije pripala, recimo u paketu s "Obje strane oštrice".

Moderna (mlađa) multipleks publika lako izdrži dva i pol sata u kinu za akcijom nabijeni blockbuster poput "Jurskog svijeta 3", ali teško jedan ovakav sporiji dramski film. Tko uleti u dvoranu multipleksa bez "predznanja" na "Priču o mojoj ženi", vjerojatno će izletjeti nakon sat vremena kad shvati da ovo nije nešto ležernije tog tipa a la "Downton Abbey 2".

Više sreće vjerojatno će imati posjetitelji starih dobrih kina poput "Karamana", kamo se "The Story Of My Wife" prirodnije uklapa kao staromodni "period piece". Ovakvu kostimiranu romansu, ambijentiranu u dvadesete godine prošlog stoljeća, nekoć je mogao potpisati dvojac Merchant-Ivory ("Soba s pogledom", "Howard's End", "Na kraju dana").

Danas je, kao svoj prvijenac na engleskom jeziku, premijerno prikazan na Cannesu, potpisuje mađarska filmašica Ildikó Enyedi ("Moje dvadeseto stoljeće"), osvajačica Zlatnog medvjeda 2019. za režiju "Tijela i duše". Enyedi je ekranizirala istoimeni roman mađarskog pisca Milána Füsta iz 1942. koji je postao bestseler kad je preveden na engleski četrdesetak godina kasnije.

Osnovna premisa je "catchy". Nakon što dozna da oženjeni muškarci žive zdraviji život, pomorski kapetan s teretnog broda Jakob Störr (nizozemski glumac Gijs Naber, utjelovljenje morskog vuka) kaže poznaniku u pariškom "cafeu" da bi se mogao oženiti "prvom ženom koja uđe u ovu prostoriju" i ignorira njegov upit "što ako te bude varala?" jer "ionako će me rijetko viđati".

Izvukao se, pritom, za dlaku jer u "cafe" je zamalo ušla neka starija gospođa, ali je ostao pri svome i ugledao prelijepu i zagonetnu Lizzy (Seydoux) kako ulazi kroz vrata. "Molim vas budite mi žena, ozbiljno to mislim", izusti Jakob kad priđe za Lizzyn stol. Lizzy pristane bez zavođenja i flerta, iako je "udvaranje neophodno", kako kasnije reče ona.

Isprve je sve divno i krasno, bračna noć protječe uz poker na skidanje itd. Kad Jakob ode na more i vrati se "životu na brodu koji može postati sićušna ljuska", Lizzy mu dobaci "Bez brige, čekat ću te". Međutim, nakon što se vrati, posumnja da mu nije (bila) vjerna, posebice kad se počne gubiti u "labirintu zvanom društveni život", gdje joj se udvara mladi pisac Dedin (Louis Garrel; "Sanjari", "Vjeran čovjek").

Ljubomora i (potencijalna) nevjera pokreću "Priču o mojoj ženi" u kojoj se malo toga događa i koja postaje repetitivna u toj nedogađajnosti, a čiji likovi nisu posebno intrigantni osim Lizzy i ne djeluju kao ljudi od krvi i mesa. S vremenom gledatelj počinje osjećati svaku minutu 169-minutna filma lišena senzualnosti.

Ne pomaže ni podzaplet s Jakobljevom polu-aferom s mladom Grete (Luna Wedler; otkriće), za što je dobio dopuštenje žene, niti kompozicijski dojmljiva scenografija nekog davnog, prošlog svršenog vremena. Iako artistički veoma rafiniran, "The Story Of My Wife" je razmjerno konvencionalna romantična drama ako se sagleda prema naslovu, kao priča o ženi iz muževe perspektive.

Međutim, film postaje bolji kad/ako ga gledatelj počne sagledavati kao priču o mužu koji je tu ženu možda samo umislio u svojoj glavi. Nije isključeno da je Lizzy moguća apstrakcija i da se ukazala usamljenom morskom vuku Jakobu jedne noći na dalekom moru dok je gledao kroz brodski otvor i pisao dnevnik, ispisavši "Priču o mojoj ženi".

"Što ako te bude varala?" – "Priča o mojoj ženi" (2021.)

Plasiranje "Priče o mojoj ženi" ("A feleségem története"/"The Story Of My Wife") u distribuciju po multipleksima i ostalim kinima sredinom lipnja prilično je subverzivan potez. Istina, na plakatu je Lea Seydoux ("Adelin život", "Zoe", "Samo je kraj svijeta", "France"), glavna zvijezda filma poznata multipleks publici po ulogama u "Za smrt nema vremena" i "Francuskoj depeši".

No, "Priča o mojoj ženi" je gotovo trosatna romantična drama europske art provenijencije, snimljena u "europuding" koprodukciji Mađarske, Njemačke, Francuse i Italije. Ilustracije radi, toliko ne traje nijedan film s ovogodišnjeg FMFS-a, za razliku od onih sa Subversivea kojemu "The Story Of My Wife" začudo nije pripala, recimo u paketu s "Obje strane oštrice".

Moderna (mlađa) multipleks publika lako izdrži dva i pol sata u kinu za akcijom nabijeni blockbuster poput "Jurskog svijeta 3", ali teško jedan ovakav sporiji dramski film. Tko uleti u dvoranu multipleksa bez "predznanja" na "Priču o mojoj ženi", vjerojatno će izletjeti nakon sat vremena kad shvati da ovo nije nešto ležernije tog tipa a la "Downton Abbey 2".

Više sreće vjerojatno će imati posjetitelji starih dobrih kina poput "Karamana", kamo se "The Story Of My Wife" prirodnije uklapa kao staromodni "period piece". Ovakvu kostimiranu romansu, ambijentiranu u dvadesete godine prošlog stoljeća, nekoć je mogao potpisati dvojac Merchant-Ivory ("Soba s pogledom", "Howard's End", "Na kraju dana").

Danas je, kao svoj prvijenac na engleskom jeziku, premijerno prikazan na Cannesu, potpisuje mađarska filmašica Ildikó Enyedi ("Moje dvadeseto stoljeće"), osvajačica Zlatnog medvjeda 2019. za režiju "Tijela i duše". Enyedi je ekranizirala istoimeni roman mađarskog pisca Milána Füsta iz 1942. koji je postao bestseler kad je preveden na engleski četrdesetak godina kasnije.

Osnovna premisa je "catchy". Nakon što dozna da oženjeni muškarci žive zdraviji život, pomorski kapetan s teretnog broda Jakob Störr (nizozemski glumac Gijs Naber, utjelovljenje morskog vuka) kaže poznaniku u pariškom "cafeu" da bi se mogao oženiti "prvom ženom koja uđe u ovu prostoriju" i ignorira njegov upit "što ako te bude varala?" jer "ionako će me rijetko viđati".

Izvukao se, pritom, za dlaku jer u "cafe" je zamalo ušla neka starija gospođa, ali je ostao pri svome i ugledao prelijepu i zagonetnu Lizzy (Seydoux) kako ulazi kroz vrata. "Molim vas budite mi žena, ozbiljno to mislim", izusti Jakob kad priđe za Lizzyn stol. Lizzy pristane bez zavođenja i flerta, iako je "udvaranje neophodno", kako kasnije reče ona.

Isprve je sve divno i krasno, bračna noć protječe uz poker na skidanje itd. Kad Jakob ode na more i vrati se "životu na brodu koji može postati sićušna ljuska", Lizzy mu dobaci "Bez brige, čekat ću te". Međutim, nakon što se vrati, posumnja da mu nije (bila) vjerna, posebice kad se počne gubiti u "labirintu zvanom društveni život", gdje joj se udvara mladi pisac Dedin (Louis Garrel; "Sanjari", "Vjeran čovjek").

Ljubomora i (potencijalna) nevjera pokreću "Priču o mojoj ženi" u kojoj se malo toga događa i koja postaje repetitivna u toj nedogađajnosti, a čiji likovi nisu posebno intrigantni osim Lizzy i ne djeluju kao ljudi od krvi i mesa. S vremenom gledatelj počinje osjećati svaku minutu 169-minutna filma lišena senzualnosti.

Ne pomaže ni podzaplet s Jakobljevom polu-aferom s mladom Grete (Luna Wedler; otkriće), za što je dobio dopuštenje žene, niti kompozicijski dojmljiva scenografija nekog davnog, prošlog svršenog vremena. Iako artistički veoma rafiniran, "The Story Of My Wife" je razmjerno konvencionalna romantična drama ako se sagleda prema naslovu, kao priča o ženi iz muževe perspektive.

Međutim, film postaje bolji kad/ako ga gledatelj počne sagledavati kao priču o mužu koji je tu ženu možda samo umislio u svojoj glavi. Nije isključeno da je Lizzy moguća apstrakcija i da se ukazala usamljenom morskom vuku Jakobu jedne noći na dalekom moru dok je gledao kroz brodski otvor i pisao dnevnik, ispisavši "Priču o mojoj ženi".
