Države zapadnog Balkana snažno će osjetiti posljedice krize koju je prouzočila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu i u ovoj godini mogu očekivati više nego prepolovljeni gospodarski rast u usporedbi s onim iz 2021. godine, procjena je Svjetske banke (WB) u novoj analizi objavljenoj u srijedu, piše Hina.

Kako podsjećaju analitičari Svjetske banke, rast bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP) u državama regije zapadnog Balkana od BiH do Albanije u 2021. godini dosegnuo je stopu od 7,4 posto što je bilo veliko povećanje u odnosu na pandemijom obilježenu 2020. kada je BDP rastao po stopi od 3,2 posto. Prošle je godine i stopa zaposlenosti na zapadnom Balkanu porasla na najvišu povijesnu razinu dosegnuvši 45,8 posto.

Glavni pokretač rasta bio je izuzetno snažan oporavak potrošnje, čemu su doprinijeli fiskalni poticaji, oslobađanje potisnute potražnje i ublažavanje ograničenja kretanja i putovanja.

Sve to je sada dovedeno u pitanje zbog posljedica koje je prouzročila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu.

Prema sadašnjim projekcijama analitičara Svjetske banke stopa rasta na zapadnom Balkanu u 2022. godini iznosit će 3,1 posto.

Širenje sukoba ili dugotrajan rat u Ukrajini mogli bi dodatno otežati globalnu trgovinu i dovesti do rasta cijena energije i hrane. Rizici refinanciranja mogu se javiti ukoliko se nastavi trend nepovoljnih uvjeta na inozemnim financijskim tržištima.

Održivost javnog duga može postati razlog za zabrinutost ukoliko se već ograničeni fiskalni prostor dodatno suzi kako bi se odgovorilo na više cijene energije i hrane uz povećanje troškova refinanciranja.

"Zapadni Balkan sada se suočava s novim izazovima čiji utjecaj dodatno otežava rat u Ukrajini a među njima su rast cijena, energije i hrane, visoka inflacija i uspostravanje trgovinske razmjene i investicija", kazala je Linda Van Gelder, regionalna ravnateljica Svjetske banke.

Upozorila je kako pred vladama država regije sada stoji izazov osmišljavanja odgovorne politike koja će osigurati izlaz iz krize i zaštiti postignuća iz 2021. godine, posebice važnih kako bi se očuvali rezultati postignuti na planu smanjenja siromaštva.

U Svjetskoj su banci zaključili kako na zapadnom Balkanu ne može biti održivog rasta bez strukturnih reformi u cilju podizanja produktivnosti, jačanja konkurentnosti, ulaganja u ljudski kapital i poboljšanja upravljanja.

U postojećem neizvjesnom okruženju rast bi potaknule mjere za smanjenje regulatornih troškova za gospodarstvo, povećanje tržišne konkurencije, potpore sudjelovanju svih građana na tržištu rada i jačanje nezavisnosti javnih institucija.

Države zapadnog Balkana snažno će osjetiti posljedice krize koju je prouzočila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu i u ovoj godini mogu očekivati više nego prepolovljeni gospodarski rast u usporedbi s onim iz 2021. godine, procjena je Svjetske banke (WB) u novoj analizi objavljenoj u srijedu, piše Hina.

Kako podsjećaju analitičari Svjetske banke, rast bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP) u državama regije zapadnog Balkana od BiH do Albanije u 2021. godini dosegnuo je stopu od 7,4 posto što je bilo veliko povećanje u odnosu na pandemijom obilježenu 2020. kada je BDP rastao po stopi od 3,2 posto. Prošle je godine i stopa zaposlenosti na zapadnom Balkanu porasla na najvišu povijesnu razinu dosegnuvši 45,8 posto.

Glavni pokretač rasta bio je izuzetno snažan oporavak potrošnje, čemu su doprinijeli fiskalni poticaji, oslobađanje potisnute potražnje i ublažavanje ograničenja kretanja i putovanja.

Sve to je sada dovedeno u pitanje zbog posljedica koje je prouzročila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu.

Prema sadašnjim projekcijama analitičara Svjetske banke stopa rasta na zapadnom Balkanu u 2022. godini iznosit će 3,1 posto.

Širenje sukoba ili dugotrajan rat u Ukrajini mogli bi dodatno otežati globalnu trgovinu i dovesti do rasta cijena energije i hrane. Rizici refinanciranja mogu se javiti ukoliko se nastavi trend nepovoljnih uvjeta na inozemnim financijskim tržištima.

Održivost javnog duga može postati razlog za zabrinutost ukoliko se već ograničeni fiskalni prostor dodatno suzi kako bi se odgovorilo na više cijene energije i hrane uz povećanje troškova refinanciranja.

"Zapadni Balkan sada se suočava s novim izazovima čiji utjecaj dodatno otežava rat u Ukrajini a među njima su rast cijena, energije i hrane, visoka inflacija i uspostravanje trgovinske razmjene i investicija", kazala je Linda Van Gelder, regionalna ravnateljica Svjetske banke.

Upozorila je kako pred vladama država regije sada stoji izazov osmišljavanja odgovorne politike koja će osigurati izlaz iz krize i zaštiti postignuća iz 2021. godine, posebice važnih kako bi se očuvali rezultati postignuti na planu smanjenja siromaštva.

U Svjetskoj su banci zaključili kako na zapadnom Balkanu ne može biti održivog rasta bez strukturnih reformi u cilju podizanja produktivnosti, jačanja konkurentnosti, ulaganja u ljudski kapital i poboljšanja upravljanja.

U postojećem neizvjesnom okruženju rast bi potaknule mjere za smanjenje regulatornih troškova za gospodarstvo, povećanje tržišne konkurencije, potpore sudjelovanju svih građana na tržištu rada i jačanje nezavisnosti javnih institucija.

Države zapadnog Balkana snažno će osjetiti posljedice krize koju je prouzočila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu i u ovoj godini mogu očekivati više nego prepolovljeni gospodarski rast u usporedbi s onim iz 2021. godine, procjena je Svjetske banke (WB) u novoj analizi objavljenoj u srijedu, piše Hina.

Kako podsjećaju analitičari Svjetske banke, rast bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP) u državama regije zapadnog Balkana od BiH do Albanije u 2021. godini dosegnuo je stopu od 7,4 posto što je bilo veliko povećanje u odnosu na pandemijom obilježenu 2020. kada je BDP rastao po stopi od 3,2 posto. Prošle je godine i stopa zaposlenosti na zapadnom Balkanu porasla na najvišu povijesnu razinu dosegnuvši 45,8 posto.

Glavni pokretač rasta bio je izuzetno snažan oporavak potrošnje, čemu su doprinijeli fiskalni poticaji, oslobađanje potisnute potražnje i ublažavanje ograničenja kretanja i putovanja.

Sve to je sada dovedeno u pitanje zbog posljedica koje je prouzročila ruska agresija na Ukrajinu.

Prema sadašnjim projekcijama analitičara Svjetske banke stopa rasta na zapadnom Balkanu u 2022. godini iznosit će 3,1 posto.

Širenje sukoba ili dugotrajan rat u Ukrajini mogli bi dodatno otežati globalnu trgovinu i dovesti do rasta cijena energije i hrane. Rizici refinanciranja mogu se javiti ukoliko se nastavi trend nepovoljnih uvjeta na inozemnim financijskim tržištima.

Održivost javnog duga može postati razlog za zabrinutost ukoliko se već ograničeni fiskalni prostor dodatno suzi kako bi se odgovorilo na više cijene energije i hrane uz povećanje troškova refinanciranja.

"Zapadni Balkan sada se suočava s novim izazovima čiji utjecaj dodatno otežava rat u Ukrajini a među njima su rast cijena, energije i hrane, visoka inflacija i uspostravanje trgovinske razmjene i investicija", kazala je Linda Van Gelder, regionalna ravnateljica Svjetske banke.

Upozorila je kako pred vladama država regije sada stoji izazov osmišljavanja odgovorne politike koja će osigurati izlaz iz krize i zaštiti postignuća iz 2021. godine, posebice važnih kako bi se očuvali rezultati postignuti na planu smanjenja siromaštva.

U Svjetskoj su banci zaključili kako na zapadnom Balkanu ne može biti održivog rasta bez strukturnih reformi u cilju podizanja produktivnosti, jačanja konkurentnosti, ulaganja u ljudski kapital i poboljšanja upravljanja.

U postojećem neizvjesnom okruženju rast bi potaknule mjere za smanjenje regulatornih troškova za gospodarstvo, povećanje tržišne konkurencije, potpore sudjelovanju svih građana na tržištu rada i jačanje nezavisnosti javnih institucija.
