Jednu u nizu ratnih tragedija iz Ukrajine je prepričala novinarka New York Timesa, Lynsey Addario, koja je osobno svjedočila otvaranju vatre na civile, pri čemu je najmanje troje ljudi ubijeno. Ovo se dogodilo prilikom evakuacije civila iz Irpina, mjesta udaljenog dvadesetak kilometara od Kijeva. U jednom trenutku je nastala panika, pošto su Rusi počeli pucati po ljudima koji su bježali, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Danas je pak uspostavljeno ‘primirje’ namijenjeno evakuaciji ukrajinskih civila. Ukrajinski predsjednik Zelenskij je cijelo vrijeme isticao kršenje primirja, sve dok ono nije i formalno prekinuto. “Stotine civila okupljaju se oko oštećenog mosta na rijeci Irpin još od subote. Ukrajinske snage su ga digle u zrak da bi usporile napredovanje ruske vojske. Samo desetak ukrajinskih vojnika danas je bilo oko mosta. Nisu se borili, pomagali su civilima da izađu iz mjesta”, rekla je novinarka.

Dodala je i da su ljudi do mosta dolazili u manjim grupama koje su pretrčavale cestu, koja je bila pod paljbom i na kojoj nema bilo zaklona. Posvjedočila je i da su vojnici trčali do ljudi te im pomagali nositi prtljagu, djecu i ljubimce, i onda trčali do zaklona ispod mosta.

“Minobacačke granate su pale oko 100 metara od mosta, pretvorivši se u seriju udara po jednom dijelu ulice preko kojeg su ljudi bježali. Dok su se granate približavale civilima, ljudi su bježali, povlačeći djecu i tražeći mjesto za skrivanje”, napisala je Addario. No, skloništa na ulici nije bilo.

“Granata je pala na ulicu, dižući u zrak oblak prašine od betona. Na cesti je ostala jedna obitelj, majka, otac, sin tinejdžer i kćer koja je imala oko osam godina. Vojnici su potrčali u pomoć, ali žena i djeca su bili mrtvi. Otac je imao puls, ali je bio u nesvijesti i teško ranjen”, opisala je novinarka.

Addario je još prenijela jednu dirljivu sliku, a to je da je iza ljudi u bijegu ostala njihova prtljaga: plavi kofer, nekoliko razbacanih torbi i zeleni transporter u kojemu je lajao mali pas. Granate su se mogle čuti i 200 metara dalje. Ovakvo granatiranje moglo je, po Addario, značiti jednu od dvije stvari: da Rusi namjerno pucaju po civilima koji se evakuiraju ili da ih nije briga za civilne žrtve.

Fotografija obitelji koja je pokušala pobjeći iz Irpina, a pod ruskim granatiranjem završila svoje živote na hladnoj ukrajinskoj cesti, na naslovnici je članka NYT-a koji je o tom događaju napisala Addario. Iako teška za gledanje, korisnici Twittera su gotovo ujedinjeni u tome da ju svijet treba vidjeti kako bi shvatio punu težinu onoga što se događa u Ukrajini.

Jednu u nizu ratnih tragedija iz Ukrajine je prepričala novinarka New York Timesa, Lynsey Addario, koja je osobno svjedočila otvaranju vatre na civile, pri čemu je najmanje troje ljudi ubijeno. Ovo se dogodilo prilikom evakuacije civila iz Irpina, mjesta udaljenog dvadesetak kilometara od Kijeva. U jednom trenutku je nastala panika, pošto su Rusi počeli pucati po ljudima koji su bježali, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Danas je pak uspostavljeno ‘primirje’ namijenjeno evakuaciji ukrajinskih civila. Ukrajinski predsjednik Zelenskij je cijelo vrijeme isticao kršenje primirja, sve dok ono nije i formalno prekinuto. “Stotine civila okupljaju se oko oštećenog mosta na rijeci Irpin još od subote. Ukrajinske snage su ga digle u zrak da bi usporile napredovanje ruske vojske. Samo desetak ukrajinskih vojnika danas je bilo oko mosta. Nisu se borili, pomagali su civilima da izađu iz mjesta”, rekla je novinarka.

Dodala je i da su ljudi do mosta dolazili u manjim grupama koje su pretrčavale cestu, koja je bila pod paljbom i na kojoj nema bilo zaklona. Posvjedočila je i da su vojnici trčali do ljudi te im pomagali nositi prtljagu, djecu i ljubimce, i onda trčali do zaklona ispod mosta.

“Minobacačke granate su pale oko 100 metara od mosta, pretvorivši se u seriju udara po jednom dijelu ulice preko kojeg su ljudi bježali. Dok su se granate približavale civilima, ljudi su bježali, povlačeći djecu i tražeći mjesto za skrivanje”, napisala je Addario. No, skloništa na ulici nije bilo.

Addario je još prenijela jednu dirljivu sliku, a to je da je iza ljudi u bijegu ostala njihova prtljaga: plavi kofer, nekoliko razbacanih torbi i zeleni transporter u kojemu je lajao mali pas. Granate su se mogle čuti i 200 metara dalje. Ovakvo granatiranje moglo je, po Addario, značiti jednu od dvije stvari: da Rusi namjerno pucaju po civilima koji se evakuiraju ili da ih nije briga za civilne žrtve.

Fotografija obitelji koja je pokušala pobjeći iz Irpina, a pod ruskim granatiranjem završila svoje živote na hladnoj ukrajinskoj cesti, na naslovnici je članka NYT-a koji je o tom događaju napisala Addario. Iako teška za gledanje, korisnici Twittera su gotovo ujedinjeni u tome da ju svijet treba vidjeti kako bi shvatio punu težinu onoga što se događa u Ukrajini.

Jednu u nizu ratnih tragedija iz Ukrajine je prepričala novinarka New York Timesa, Lynsey Addario, koja je osobno svjedočila otvaranju vatre na civile, pri čemu je najmanje troje ljudi ubijeno. Ovo se dogodilo prilikom evakuacije civila iz Irpina, mjesta udaljenog dvadesetak kilometara od Kijeva. U jednom trenutku je nastala panika, pošto su Rusi počeli pucati po ljudima koji su bježali, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Danas je pak uspostavljeno ‘primirje’ namijenjeno evakuaciji ukrajinskih civila. Ukrajinski predsjednik Zelenskij je cijelo vrijeme isticao kršenje primirja, sve dok ono nije i formalno prekinuto. “Stotine civila okupljaju se oko oštećenog mosta na rijeci Irpin još od subote. Ukrajinske snage su ga digle u zrak da bi usporile napredovanje ruske vojske. Samo desetak ukrajinskih vojnika danas je bilo oko mosta. Nisu se borili, pomagali su civilima da izađu iz mjesta”, rekla je novinarka.

Dodala je i da su ljudi do mosta dolazili u manjim grupama koje su pretrčavale cestu, koja je bila pod paljbom i na kojoj nema bilo zaklona. Posvjedočila je i da su vojnici trčali do ljudi te im pomagali nositi prtljagu, djecu i ljubimce, i onda trčali do zaklona ispod mosta.

“Minobacačke granate su pale oko 100 metara od mosta, pretvorivši se u seriju udara po jednom dijelu ulice preko kojeg su ljudi bježali. Dok su se granate približavale civilima, ljudi su bježali, povlačeći djecu i tražeći mjesto za skrivanje”, napisala je Addario. No, skloništa na ulici nije bilo.
