Još jedna optužba stiže na račun splitske bolnice u kojoj je u četvrtak ujutro umro turist iz Kanade. Dnevniku Nove TV javila se njegova supruga želeći ispričati svoju priču o hrvatskom zdravstvu, a bolnicu smatra odgovornom za smrt supruga. Iz bolnice odgovaraju da je sve je bilo po zakonu, a iako ona ne želi, obdukciju će obaviti bez njezina dopuštenja.

Kanađanin John Tims došao je s kašljem na odmor u Dubrovnik, a u KBC-u Split su mu dijagnosticirali anemiju i preporučili povratak u Vancouver.

No, osiguravatelj je preporučio da 69-godišnjeg Johna prije puta u Splitu ipak dodatno pregledaju. U bolnici je pao.

"Na putu do kupaonice je pao. Treći dan hospitalizacije, mislim. I udario je glavom i slomio dvije kosti gležnja", rekla je njegova udovica Gaye Tims.

Osiguranje je odlučilo da ipak otputuje kući, ali Gaye tvrdi da petkom u 15:30 u bolnici ne popunjavaju formulare.

"Rekla je: ‘Ne, ne, u ponedjeljak, u ponedjeljak.‘ Znala sam još od prošlog vikenda, koji je bio dugi vikend, da se vikendom ništa ne događa u bolnici", ispričala je Tims.

U bolnici kažu da je imao respiracijskih tegoba.

"Sukladno indikacijama su poduzeti svi dijagnostički i terapijski postupci", rekla je Suzana Mladinov, predstojnica Klinike za plućne bolesti.

Gaye: "Mislim da je umro bez razloga"

Gaye tvrdi da je pitala osoblje zašto John prevrće očima i zašto je dezorijentiran, ali joj nisu odgovorili. Hematolog ga, kaže, nije pogledao.

"U srijedu sam im se opet obratila. Rekla sam: ‘Mislim da ima moždani udar. I morate nešto učiniti, što prije.‘", rekla je te dodala da su joj odgovorili da je pregledan prije 20 minuta: "I trebalo je još 20 minuta dok se neurolog nije polako došetao, ušao u Johnovu sobu, izbacio me iz sobe prilično neuljudno. Kad je izašao, otišao je pričajući s kolegama na hrvatskom, koji očito ne razumijem."

"Kad su Johna vratili s pretraga, oči su mu bile širom otvorene, disao je na usta i znala sam da nije ništa dobro. Otišla sam po sestru i rekla: ‘Morate nešto učiniti, on i ne diše, preskače udisaje. I tad su se angažirali i dotrčali u sobu‘", ispričala je.

Mladinov je rekla da je nakon toga uslijedilo kliničko pogoršanje koje je rezultiralo smrću.

"Ne mogu izlaziti sa više detalja u javnost, ali mogu reći da će sva dokumentacija biti dostupna svim institucijama", istaknula je.

Supruga preminulog kaže da je podlegao sepsi zbog gljivičnog oboljenja grla.

"Mislim da je umro bez razloga i da bi još uvijek trebao biti živ", rekla je Gaye, koja ne želi obdukciju u Splitskoj bolnici.

"Znam da su liječnici i sestre preopterećeni u posljednje tri godine i bilo je suosjećajnih, ali bilo je i nepristojnih, koji su otežavali situaciju. Ako netko od osoblja ne poznaje engleski jezik, možete li pozvati nekoga tko razumije", dodala je.

Koji su im sljedeći koraci prema Hrvatskoj ili će biti samo onih žurnih koraka što dalje od Hrvatske, odlučit će njihov sin koji stiže u Split, ali još ne zna da je otac umro, zaključuje Dnevnik.hr.

Još jedna optužba stiže na račun splitske bolnice u kojoj je u četvrtak ujutro umro turist iz Kanade. Dnevniku Nove TV javila se njegova supruga želeći ispričati svoju priču o hrvatskom zdravstvu, a bolnicu smatra odgovornom za smrt supruga. Iz bolnice odgovaraju da je sve je bilo po zakonu, a iako ona ne želi, obdukciju će obaviti bez njezina dopuštenja.

Kanađanin John Tims došao je s kašljem na odmor u Dubrovnik, a u KBC-u Split su mu dijagnosticirali anemiju i preporučili povratak u Vancouver.

No, osiguravatelj je preporučio da 69-godišnjeg Johna prije puta u Splitu ipak dodatno pregledaju. U bolnici je pao.

"Na putu do kupaonice je pao. Treći dan hospitalizacije, mislim. I udario je glavom i slomio dvije kosti gležnja", rekla je njegova udovica Gaye Tims.

Osiguranje je odlučilo da ipak otputuje kući, ali Gaye tvrdi da petkom u 15:30 u bolnici ne popunjavaju formulare.

"Rekla je: ‘Ne, ne, u ponedjeljak, u ponedjeljak.‘ Znala sam još od prošlog vikenda, koji je bio dugi vikend, da se vikendom ništa ne događa u bolnici", ispričala je Tims.

U bolnici kažu da je imao respiracijskih tegoba.

"Sukladno indikacijama su poduzeti svi dijagnostički i terapijski postupci", rekla je Suzana Mladinov, predstojnica Klinike za plućne bolesti.

Gaye: "Mislim da je umro bez razloga"

Gaye tvrdi da je pitala osoblje zašto John prevrće očima i zašto je dezorijentiran, ali joj nisu odgovorili. Hematolog ga, kaže, nije pogledao.

"U srijedu sam im se opet obratila. Rekla sam: ‘Mislim da ima moždani udar. I morate nešto učiniti, što prije.‘", rekla je te dodala da su joj odgovorili da je pregledan prije 20 minuta: "I trebalo je još 20 minuta dok se neurolog nije polako došetao, ušao u Johnovu sobu, izbacio me iz sobe prilično neuljudno. Kad je izašao, otišao je pričajući s kolegama na hrvatskom, koji očito ne razumijem."

"Kad su Johna vratili s pretraga, oči su mu bile širom otvorene, disao je na usta i znala sam da nije ništa dobro. Otišla sam po sestru i rekla: ‘Morate nešto učiniti, on i ne diše, preskače udisaje. I tad su se angažirali i dotrčali u sobu‘", ispričala je.

Mladinov je rekla da je nakon toga uslijedilo kliničko pogoršanje koje je rezultiralo smrću.

"Ne mogu izlaziti sa više detalja u javnost, ali mogu reći da će sva dokumentacija biti dostupna svim institucijama", istaknula je.

Supruga preminulog kaže da je podlegao sepsi zbog gljivičnog oboljenja grla.

"Mislim da je umro bez razloga i da bi još uvijek trebao biti živ", rekla je Gaye, koja ne želi obdukciju u Splitskoj bolnici.

"Znam da su liječnici i sestre preopterećeni u posljednje tri godine i bilo je suosjećajnih, ali bilo je i nepristojnih, koji su otežavali situaciju. Ako netko od osoblja ne poznaje engleski jezik, možete li pozvati nekoga tko razumije", dodala je.

Koji su im sljedeći koraci prema Hrvatskoj ili će biti samo onih žurnih koraka što dalje od Hrvatske, odlučit će njihov sin koji stiže u Split, ali još ne zna da je otac umro, zaključuje Dnevnik.hr.

Još jedna optužba stiže na račun splitske bolnice u kojoj je u četvrtak ujutro umro turist iz Kanade. Dnevniku Nove TV javila se njegova supruga želeći ispričati svoju priču o hrvatskom zdravstvu, a bolnicu smatra odgovornom za smrt supruga. Iz bolnice odgovaraju da je sve je bilo po zakonu, a iako ona ne želi, obdukciju će obaviti bez njezina dopuštenja.

Kanađanin John Tims došao je s kašljem na odmor u Dubrovnik, a u KBC-u Split su mu dijagnosticirali anemiju i preporučili povratak u Vancouver.

No, osiguravatelj je preporučio da 69-godišnjeg Johna prije puta u Splitu ipak dodatno pregledaju. U bolnici je pao.

"Na putu do kupaonice je pao. Treći dan hospitalizacije, mislim. I udario je glavom i slomio dvije kosti gležnja", rekla je njegova udovica Gaye Tims.

Osiguranje je odlučilo da ipak otputuje kući, ali Gaye tvrdi da petkom u 15:30 u bolnici ne popunjavaju formulare.

"Rekla je: ‘Ne, ne, u ponedjeljak, u ponedjeljak.‘ Znala sam još od prošlog vikenda, koji je bio dugi vikend, da se vikendom ništa ne događa u bolnici", ispričala je Tims.

U bolnici kažu da je imao respiracijskih tegoba.

"Sukladno indikacijama su poduzeti svi dijagnostički i terapijski postupci", rekla je Suzana Mladinov, predstojnica Klinike za plućne bolesti.

Gaye: "Mislim da je umro bez razloga"

Gaye tvrdi da je pitala osoblje zašto John prevrće očima i zašto je dezorijentiran, ali joj nisu odgovorili. Hematolog ga, kaže, nije pogledao.

"U srijedu sam im se opet obratila. Rekla sam: ‘Mislim da ima moždani udar. I morate nešto učiniti, što prije.‘", rekla je te dodala da su joj odgovorili da je pregledan prije 20 minuta: "I trebalo je još 20 minuta dok se neurolog nije polako došetao, ušao u Johnovu sobu, izbacio me iz sobe prilično neuljudno. Kad je izašao, otišao je pričajući s kolegama na hrvatskom, koji očito ne razumijem."
