Airbnb je rekao da će ponuditi besplatan, privremeni smještaj za do 100.000 izbjeglica iz Ukrajine, pridružujući se nizu tvrtki koje nude podršku i donacije nakon ruske invazije. Airbnb.org, neprofitna organizacija platforme za iznajmljivanje kuća koja je osnovana za pružanje stambene pomoći tijekom međunarodnih kriza, udružit će se s agencijama za preseljenje kako bi smjestila ukrajinske izbjeglice diljem svijeta. Troškove boravka pokriti će Airbnb, donatori svog fonda za izbjeglice i domaćini koji nude smještaj s popustom ili potpuno besplatan.

"Znamo da će domaćini na Airbnb-u i gosti širom svijeta biti željni ustati i pomoći u ovom velikom naporu, a u narednim danima Airbnb planira podijeliti detalje o tome kako domaćini na Airbnb-u i šira zajednica mogu podržati ovu inicijativu," rekao je.

Druge tvrtke svoju potporu usmjeravaju donirajući milijune funti u dobrotvorne svrhe pomažući onima koji su najteže pogođeni krizom u Ukrajini. Draguljar Pandora donirao je 750.000 funti UN-ovoj agenciji za djecu Unicef, dok je lanac cipela Kurt Geiger dao 50.000 funti Britanskom Crvenom križu, koji surađuje s ukrajinskim ogrankom ove humanitarne organizacije na osiguravanju hrane, vode, medicinskih potrepština, odjeće i skloništa za one zahvaćene sukobom.

Neil Clifford, izvršni direktor Kurta Geigera, rekao je: “Ovo je situacija velike ljudske patnje i vjerujemo da imamo moralnu obvezu pružiti ruku i pomoći na bilo koji način. U svjetlu ove ljudske krize, donirat ćemo 100 posto prošlotjednog profita trgovine Kurt Geiger.”

Ukrajina je primila nalet donacija od tvrtki, a u posljednja 24 sata u zemlju su pritjecale ogromne svote. Binance, najveća svjetska burza kriptovaluta, donira 10 milijuna dolara za pomoć humanitarnim naporima. Također će zamrznuti račune ruskih klijenata na meti sankcija, nakon što je potpredsjednik ukrajinske vlade, Mihail Fedorov, pozvao glavne platforme za digitalne valute da blokiraju kripto transakcije među svim ruskim korisnicima. "Blokiramo račune onih na popisu sankcija (ako imaju Binance račune) i osiguravamo da se sve sankcije u potpunosti ispune", rekao je glasnogovornik tvrtke Reutersu u ponedjeljak, odbijajući dati dodatne detalje.

Anonimni donatori bitcoina uložili su najmanje 13,7 milijuna dolara za ukrajinske ratne napore kao alternativu donacijama putem tradicionalnih tvrtki za masovno financiranje i plaćanja - od kojih neke zabranjuju plaćanja grupama koje podržavaju ukrajinsku vojsku. Elliptic, tvrtka za analizu blockchaina, kaže da su ukrajinska vlada, nevladine organizacije i volonteri prikupili sredstva oglašavajući svoje adrese bitcoin novčanika na internetu.

Kompanije za igre na sreću pridružile su se naletu crowdfundinga, a poljski programer 11 Bit Studios najavio je da će donirati dobit ostvarenu od svoje antiratne PC igre This War of Mine idućih tjedan dana ukrajinskom Crvenom križu, piše Guardian.

Ruska invazija na Ukrajinu prisilila je gotovo 400.000 ljudi da napusti svoje domove u Ukrajini, prema agenciji UN-a za izbjeglice. Više od 4,5 milijuna moglo bi uslijediti ako se borbe prošire, rekle su ukrajinske vlasti. Broj ubijenih civila popeo se na najmanje 352, priopćilo je ukrajinsko ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova.

Airbnb je rekao da će ponuditi besplatan, privremeni smještaj za do 100.000 izbjeglica iz Ukrajine, pridružujući se nizu tvrtki koje nude podršku i donacije nakon ruske invazije. Airbnb.org, neprofitna organizacija platforme za iznajmljivanje kuća koja je osnovana za pružanje stambene pomoći tijekom međunarodnih kriza, udružit će se s agencijama za preseljenje kako bi smjestila ukrajinske izbjeglice diljem svijeta. Druge tvrtke svoju potporu usmjeravaju donirajući milijune funti u dobrotvorne svrhe pomažući onima koji su najteže pogođeni krizom u Ukrajini. Draguljar Pandora donirao je 750.000 funti UN-ovoj agenciji za djecu Unicef, dok je lanac cipela Kurt Geiger dao 50.000 funti Britanskom Crvenom križu, koji surađuje s ukrajinskim ogrankom ove humanitarne organizacije na osiguravanju hrane, vode, medicinskih potrepština, odjeće i skloništa za one zahvaćene sukobom.

Airbnb osigurava 100.000 privremenih smještaja za ukrajinske izbjeglice

Airbnb je rekao da će ponuditi besplatan, privremeni smještaj za do 100.000 izbjeglica iz Ukrajine, pridružujući se nizu tvrtki koje nude podršku i donacije nakon ruske invazije. Airbnb.org, neprofitna organizacija platforme za iznajmljivanje kuća koja je osnovana za pružanje stambene pomoći tijekom međunarodnih kriza, udružit će se s agencijama za preseljenje kako bi smjestila ukrajinske izbjeglice diljem svijeta.
