- Imamo apsurdnu situaciju gdje naše državne institucije ne štite građane i stoga mi kao općina Dugi Rat želimo kupiti zemljište bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija. Jer svi znamo kako se godinama na tom zemljištu nalazi opasno brdo otpada, ništa se ne rješavala iako je tvrtka "Projekt Uvala" pokrala krom, zagadila okoliš i ostavila brda otpada, te joj je država još i darovala ogroman novac – direktan je Tonči Bauk, načelnik Općine Dugi Rat, koja je godina poznata i nažalost prepoznata po opasnom brdu šljake unutar tvornice, čija se sudbina, a ni namjena vrijednog zemljišta tik uz more, ne rješava desetljećima.

Obećavane su i sanacije tog prostora, no nikako da se u državnom proračunu "pronađe" novac čime bi se uklonilo "brdo", te time i smanjilo raspršavanje opasnih čestica po mjestu, pa su čelnici lokalne samouprave krenuli u – protunapad!4

- Nakon što nam je država odbila ustupiti zemljište bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija, Općina Dugi Rat zemljište je spremna kupiti. Zahtijevamo da nam ga država proda po istoj cijeni po kojoj ga namjerava prodati tvrtki "Projekt Uvala" koja je to zemljište onečistila kancerogenim otpadom i koja ga ne želi očistiti već 11 godina – kazuje nam načelnik Bauk, ističući i ovo:

- Ministarstvu državne imovine poslali smo pismo namjere kako općina želi kupiti zemljište, no Ministarstvo je to odbilo pod izlikom kako je u tijeku sudski proces između "Projekta Uvale" i Republike Hrvatske.

Prvi čovjek Dugog Rata dodaje:

- To nema nikakvo zakonsko uporište! Država bi trebala biti saveznik jedinici lokalne samouprave, a ona izlazi ususret tvrtki "Projekt Uvala" koja njoj i njezinim građanima sustavno nanosi štetu. Ta je tvrtka na zemljištu bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija u Dugom Ratu ostavila 257.000 tona otpada. Taj je ilegalni deponij otpada stvorila nezakonitom eksploatacijom kroma 2011. godine. "Projekt Uvala" i Republika Hrvatska dužne su prema Direktivi 2008/98 Europske unije zbrinuti taj otpad, no na tu se obvezu oglušuju. Da stvar bude gora, tvrtka "Projekt Uvala", tj. s njom povezana tvrtka "Coligo" od države je dobila i 20 milijuna kuna subvencija – ljuti se Tonči Bauk, koji je kao i sumještani zgrožen činjenicom što država izuzetno vrijedno zemljište, površine 34.000 metara četvornih, sada namjerava prodati "Projekt Uvali" po cijeni od 115 eura po metru četvornom.

- Dugi Rat je Općinskom državnom odvjetništvu protiv trgovačkog društva "Projekt Uvala" i vlasnika Henryja Aleksadnra Jonesa podnijela kaznenu prijavu za ugrozu zdravlja stanovnika općine te onečišćenje okoliša. A na Trgovačkom se pak sudu u Splitu rješavaju međusobna potraživanja države i "Projekta Uvale", no i to se pretvara u pravosudnu trakavicu. Jer, za ponedjeljak 18. srpnja, zakazano ročište za glavnu raspravu je odgođeno do studenog. Takvo odgađanje, opet ide na ruku "Projektu Uvali", dok mještani Dugog Rata i dalje tek mogu, nemoćno, gledati brdo opasnog otpada – rezimira načelnik Bauk.

Predstavnici Ministarstva zastite okolisa i prirode odrzali su sjednicu Povjerenstva za ocjenu novog Sanacijskog programa za prostor bivse tvornie ferolegura Dalmacija Dugi Rat, te su obisli lokalitet bivse tvornice.

- Imamo apsurdnu situaciju gdje naše državne institucije ne štite građane i stoga mi kao općina Dugi Rat želimo kupiti zemljište bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija. Jer svi znamo kako se godinama na tom zemljištu nalazi opasno brdo otpada, ništa se ne rješavala iako je tvrtka "Projekt Uvala" pokrala krom, zagadila okoliš i ostavila brda otpada, te joj je država još i darovala ogroman novac – direktan je Tonči Bauk, načelnik Općine Dugi Rat, koja je godina poznata i nažalost prepoznata po opasnom brdu šljake unutar tvornice, čija se sudbina, a ni namjena vrijednog zemljišta tik uz more, ne rješava desetljećima.

Obećavane su i sanacije tog prostora, no nikako da se u državnom proračunu "pronađe" novac čime bi se uklonilo "brdo", te time i smanjilo raspršavanje opasnih čestica po mjestu, pa su čelnici lokalne samouprave krenuli u – protunapad!4

- Nakon što nam je država odbila ustupiti zemljište bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija, Općina Dugi Rat zemljište je spremna kupiti. Zahtijevamo da nam ga država proda po istoj cijeni po kojoj ga namjerava prodati tvrtki "Projekt Uvala" koja je to zemljište onečistila kancerogenim otpadom i koja ga ne želi očistiti već 11 godina – kazuje nam načelnik Bauk, ističući i ovo:

- Ministarstvu državne imovine poslali smo pismo namjere kako općina želi kupiti zemljište, no Ministarstvo je to odbilo pod izlikom kako je u tijeku sudski proces između "Projekta Uvale" i Republike Hrvatske.

Prvi čovjek Dugog Rata dodaje:

- To nema nikakvo zakonsko uporište! Država bi trebala biti saveznik jedinici lokalne samouprave, a ona izlazi ususret tvrtki "Projekt Uvala" koja njoj i njezinim građanima sustavno nanosi štetu. Ta je tvrtka na zemljištu bivše tvornice ferolegura Dalmacija u Dugom Ratu ostavila 257.000 tona otpada. Taj je ilegalni deponij otpada stvorila nezakonitom eksploatacijom kroma 2011. godine. "Projekt Uvala" i Republika Hrvatska dužne su prema Direktivi 2008/98 Europske unije zbrinuti taj otpad, no na tu se obvezu oglušuju. Da stvar bude gora, tvrtka "Projekt Uvala", tj. s njom povezana tvrtka "Coligo" od države je dobila i 20 milijuna kuna subvencija – ljuti se Tonči Bauk, koji je kao i sumještani zgrožen činjenicom što država izuzetno vrijedno zemljište, površine 34.000 metara četvornih, sada namjerava prodati "Projekt Uvali" po cijeni od 115 eura po metru četvornom.

- Dugi Rat je Općinskom državnom odvjetništvu protiv trgovačkog društva "Projekt Uvala" i vlasnika Henryja Aleksadnra Jonesa podnijela kaznenu prijavu za ugrozu zdravlja stanovnika općine te onečišćenje okoliša. A na Trgovačkom se pak sudu u Splitu rješavaju međusobna potraživanja države i "Projekta Uvale", no i to se pretvara u pravosudnu trakavicu. Jer, za ponedjeljak 18. srpnja, zakazano ročište za glavnu raspravu je odgođeno do studenog. Takvo odgađanje, opet ide na ruku "Projektu Uvali", dok mještani Dugog Rata i dalje tek mogu, nemoćno, gledati brdo opasnog otpada – rezimira načelnik Bauk.
