Na Braču je kult štovanja Gospe Karmelske osobito izražen jer tri snažna otočna središta, Postira, Selca i Milna, slave Gospu Karmelsku kao svoju nebesku zaštitnicu, a u novije vrijeme Postira i Selca i kao dan općine.

Ove su godine, međutim, zbog korone bile otkazane sve pučke, kulturne i druge svečanosti. Bračani su, naime, ocijenili kako nisu u mogućnosti, osobito kada su u pitanju pučke fešte koje se sastoje od druženja, pjesme i plesa, ispoštovati sve mjere koje je donio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, a to znači da nisu u stanju jamčiti sigurnost kako posjetitelja, tako i izvođača, a zdravlje i sigurnost su ipak najvažniji.

I vjerska slavlja, odnosno svete mise i procesije, održana su po naputcima Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo. Sve je to, dakle, bilo puno skromnije, ali zato s puno dostojanstva i odgovornosti.

Bračanima su se u njihovu vjerskom slavlju priključila dva biskupa. Tako je središnje euharistijsko slavlje zavjetne svetkovine u Postirima predvodio, uz koncelebraciju više svećenika, hvarski biskup mons. Petar Palić, i to je bio njegov posljednji posjet toj bračkoj župi. Podsjetit ćemo, taj trootočni biskup broji zadnje dane na stolici hvarskog biskupa jer je odlukom pape Frane imenovan mostarsko-duvanjskim biskupom i apostolskim administratorom Trebinjsko-mrkanjske biskupije.

– Po Marijinu zagovoru Bog djeluje u svakom životu, u svakom životnom trenutku, u rođenju i smrti, u trenucima boli i radosti, nade i obeshrabrenja – poručio je okupljenim vjernicima biskup Palić, pozvavši ih da se Mariji utječu u zagovor u svim životnim potrebama.

Slavlje Gospe Karmelske u Postirima završilo je, uz zvonjavu crkvenih zvona i pjesmu vjerničkog puka, procesijom s njezinim kipom, koja se kretala pjacom pa postirskom rivom, a sve je završilo biskupovim blagoslovom. Postirski župnik don Jure Martinić zahvalio je biskupu Paliću na svemu što je učinio za tu župu, koju je u dvije godine svoje biskupske službe posjetio šest puta.

Zbog epidemioloških mjera, u Selcima, središnjemu mjestu na istočnoj strani otoka, prvi put je sveta misa slavljena izvan crkve, na otvorenom prostoru, na Pjaci. Po tradiciji, Selčani su prve ovoljetne zrele plodove grožđa prinijeli pred kip svoje zaštitnice. Blagdansku misu s procesijom u kojoj se nosio kip Gospe Karmelske predvodio je mons. Slobodan Štambuk, biskup hvarsko-bračko-viški u miru, koji je po rođenju Selčanin. Pjevao je župni zbor Krista Kralja pod ravnanjem Siniše Vukovića.

U Milni je misno slavlje u župnoj crkvi Gospe od Blagovijesti vodio dr. Ivan Bodrožić, a nakon mise uslijedila je procesija koja je s kipom Gospe Karmelske prošla milnarskom obalom. Na završetku je svima riječi zahvale uputio mjesni župnik don Tonči Kusanović.

Na Braču je kult štovanja Gospe Karmelske osobito izražen jer tri snažna otočna središta, Postira, Selca i Milna, slave Gospu Karmelsku kao svoju nebesku zaštitnicu, a u novije vrijeme Postira i Selca i kao dan općine.

Ove su godine, međutim, zbog korone bile otkazane sve pučke, kulturne i druge svečanosti. Bračani su, naime, ocijenili kako nisu u mogućnosti, osobito kada su u pitanju pučke fešte koje se sastoje od druženja, pjesme i plesa, ispoštovati sve mjere koje je donio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, a to znači da nisu u stanju jamčiti sigurnost kako posjetitelja, tako i izvođača, a zdravlje i sigurnost su ipak najvažniji.

I vjerska slavlja, odnosno svete mise i procesije, održana su po naputcima Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo. Sve je to, dakle, bilo puno skromnije, ali zato s puno dostojanstva i odgovornosti.

Bračanima su se u njihovu vjerskom slavlju priključila dva biskupa. Tako je središnje euharistijsko slavlje zavjetne svetkovine u Postirima predvodio, uz koncelebraciju više svećenika, hvarski biskup mons. Petar Palić, i to je bio njegov posljednji posjet toj bračkoj župi. Podsjetit ćemo, taj trootočni biskup broji zadnje dane na stolici hvarskog biskupa jer je odlukom pape Frane imenovan mostarsko-duvanjskim biskupom i apostolskim administratorom Trebinjsko-mrkanjske biskupije.

– Po Marijinu zagovoru Bog djeluje u svakom životu, u svakom životnom trenutku, u rođenju i smrti, u trenucima boli i radosti, nade i obeshrabrenja – poručio je okupljenim vjernicima biskup Palić, pozvavši ih da se Mariji utječu u zagovor u svim životnim potrebama.

Slavlje Gospe Karmelske u Postirima završilo je, uz zvonjavu crkvenih zvona i pjesmu vjerničkog puka, procesijom s njezinim kipom, koja se kretala pjacom pa postirskom rivom, a sve je završilo biskupovim blagoslovom. Postirski župnik don Jure Martinić zahvalio je biskupu Paliću na svemu što je učinio za tu župu, koju je u dvije godine svoje biskupske službe posjetio šest puta.

Zbog epidemioloških mjera, u Selcima, središnjemu mjestu na istočnoj strani otoka, prvi put je sveta misa slavljena izvan crkve, na otvorenom prostoru, na Pjaci. Po tradiciji, Selčani su prve ovoljetne zrele plodove grožđa prinijeli pred kip svoje zaštitnice. Blagdansku misu s procesijom u kojoj se nosio kip Gospe Karmelske predvodio je mons. Slobodan Štambuk, biskup hvarsko-bračko-viški u miru, koji je po rođenju Selčanin. Pjevao je župni zbor Krista Kralja pod ravnanjem Siniše Vukovića.

U Milni je misno slavlje u župnoj crkvi Gospe od Blagovijesti vodio dr. Ivan Bodrožić, a nakon mise uslijedila je procesija koja je s kipom Gospe Karmelske prošla milnarskom obalom. Na završetku je svima riječi zahvale uputio mjesni župnik don Tonči Kusanović.

Skromno proslavili blagdan: na Braču u procesijama i na misama molili se Gospi Karmelskoj

Na Braču je kult štovanja Gospe Karmelske osobito izražen jer tri snažna otočna središta, Postira, Selca i Milna, slave Gospu Karmelsku kao svoju nebesku zaštitnicu, a u novije vrijeme Postira i Selca i kao dan općine.

Ove su godine, međutim, zbog korone bile otkazane sve pučke, kulturne i druge svečanosti. Bračani su, naime, ocijenili kako nisu u mogućnosti, osobito kada su u pitanju pučke fešte koje se sastoje od druženja, pjesme i plesa, ispoštovati sve mjere koje je donio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, a to znači da nisu u stanju jamčiti sigurnost kako posjetitelja, tako i izvođača, a zdravlje i sigurnost su ipak najvažniji.

I vjerska slavlja, odnosno svete mise i procesije, održana su po naputcima Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo. Sve je to, dakle, bilo...
