Singapurska kompanija "Hotel Properties Limited" (HPL) ušla je u vlasničku strukturu zagrebačke tvrtke "Avenue ulaganja", koja je vlasnik bivšega vojnog hotelskog kompleksa Kupari u Župi dubrovačkoj.
U povodu toga s predstavnicima "HPL grupe" susreli su se Silvio Nardelli, načelnik općine Župa dubrovačka, te pročelnik Jure Marić, koji je podsjetio kako su "Avenue ulaganja" s Republikom Hrvatskom potpisala ugovor o pravu građenja i koncesiji na pomorskom dobru na državnom zemljištu u turističkoj zoni u Kuparima.
– Optimizam ulijeva činjenica da je HPL, partner koji je ušao u vlasničku strukturu "Avenue ulaganja", renomirana svjetska tvrtka koja u svom vlasništvu ima 18 hotela pod brendom "Four Seasons" te još šest u izgradnji, što ga čini najvećim pojedinačnim partnerom "Four Seasonsa" u svijetu. Osim HPL-a, u istom vlasništvu je i tvrtka "Como" pa tako govorimo o 77 hotela različitih luksuznih brendova u istom vlasništvu.
Nadamo se, a planovi i pristup novih sudionika u projektu upućuju na to, da bi se realizacija projekta Kupari trebala znatno ubrzati i zaživjeti u punom sjaju, čime bi općina Župa dubrovačka, ali i Hrvatska, dobili ekskluzivan hotelski brend koji još nije bio prisutan na ovim prostorima – istaknuo je načelnik Nardelli.
Naime, "HPL grupa", koja upravlja s 36 hotela pod prestižnim hotelskim brendovima kao što su "Four Seasons", "Marriott", "Hilton International", "Como Hotels" i "InterContinental Hotels Group", za 3,52 milijuna eura kupila je 50 posto udjela u kompaniji "Avenue ulaganja", koja je krajem 2015. godine dobila koncesiju nad bivšim vojnim kompleksom kod Dubrovnika, ali ni nakon šest godina nije pokrenula projekt čija se cijena procjenjivala na milijardu kuna.
Vlasnik HPL-a je Ong Beng Seng, 75-godišnji malezijski milijarder sa singapurskom adresom, kojega globalni mediji, unatoč druženjima s brojnim hollywoodskim zvijezdama, karakteriziraju "sramežljivim za javnost" i "notorno tajnovitim".
Svi se nadaju da će se dolaskom njegove krovne kompanije napokon realizirati turistički projekt, posebice nakon rušenja u Domovinskom ratu teško oštećenih hotela "Kupari", "Pelegrin" te dva objekta "Goričan".
Planiran je, naime, novi luksuzni resort čiji kapacitet, unatoč mogućnosti veće izgrađenosti, ne bi trebao biti veći od 500 kreveta. Jedini hotel koji će biti obnovljen u izvornom obliku je "Grand", koji je zaštićeno kulturno dobro.

Singapurska kompanija "Hotel Properties Limited" (HPL) ušla je u vlasničku strukturu zagrebačke tvrtke "Avenue ulaganja", koja je vlasnik bivšega vojnog hotelskog kompleksa Kupari u Župi dubrovačkoj.
U povodu toga s predstavnicima "HPL grupe" susreli su se Silvio Nardelli, načelnik općine Župa dubrovačka, te pročelnik Jure Marić, koji je podsjetio kako su "Avenue ulaganja" s Republikom Hrvatskom potpisala ugovor o pravu građenja i koncesiji na pomorskom dobru na državnom zemljištu u turističkoj zoni u Kuparima.
– Optimizam ulijeva činjenica da je HPL, partner koji je ušao u vlasničku strukturu "Avenue ulaganja", renomirana svjetska tvrtka koja u svom vlasništvu ima 18 hotela pod brendom "Four Seasons" te još šest u izgradnji, što ga čini najvećim pojedinačnim partnerom "Four Seasonsa" u svijetu. Osim HPL-a, u istom vlasništvu je i tvrtka "Como" pa tako govorimo o 77 hotela različitih luksuznih brendova u istom vlasništvu.
Nadamo se, a planovi i pristup novih sudionika u projektu upućuju na to, da bi se realizacija projekta Kupari trebala znatno ubrzati i zaživjeti u punom sjaju, čime bi općina Župa dubrovačka, ali i Hrvatska, dobili ekskluzivan hotelski brend koji još nije bio prisutan na ovim prostorima – istaknuo je načelnik Nardelli.
Naime, "HPL grupa", koja upravlja s 36 hotela pod prestižnim hotelskim brendovima kao što su "Four Seasons", "Marriott", "Hilton International", "Como Hotels" i "InterContinental Hotels Group", za 3,52 milijuna eura kupila je 50 posto udjela u kompaniji "Avenue ulaganja", koja je krajem 2015. godine dobila koncesiju nad bivšim vojnim kompleksom kod Dubrovnika, ali ni nakon šest godina nije pokrenula projekt čija se cijena procjenjivala na milijardu kuna.
Vlasnik HPL-a je Ong Beng Seng, 75-godišnji malezijski milijarder sa singapurskom adresom, kojega globalni mediji, unatoč druženjima s brojnim hollywoodskim zvijezdama, karakteriziraju "sramežljivim za javnost" i "notorno tajnovitim".
Svi se nadaju da će se dolaskom njegove krovne kompanije napokon realizirati turistički projekt, posebice nakon rušenja u Domovinskom ratu teško oštećenih hotela "Kupari", "Pelegrin" te dva objekta "Goričan".
Planiran je, naime, novi luksuzni resort čiji kapacitet, unatoč mogućnosti veće izgrađenosti, ne bi trebao biti veći od 500 kreveta. Jedini hotel koji će biti obnovljen u izvornom obliku je "Grand", koji je zaštićeno kulturno dobro.
