Tinejdžer iz američkog Ohija tragično je preminuo nakon što se predozirao lijekovima za alergiju koji se izdaju bez recepta dok je pokušavao izvesti izazov s TikToka.

New York Post piše da je 13-godišnji Jacob Stevens sudjelovao u tzv. Benadryl izazovu u kojem sudionici uzimaju od 12 do 14 antihistaminika, šest puta više od preporučene doze, kako bi izazvali halucinacije, prenosi Index.

Jacobov otac Justin rekao je da je njegov sin prošlog vikenda bio kod kuće s prijateljima kada se predozirao. Video koju su snimili njegovi prijatelji pokazala je kako pije tablete, nakon čega mu se tijelo počelo grčiti. Jacob je nakon toga hitno prevezen u bolnicu i stavljen na respirator. Unatoč svim naporima doktora, dječak je preminuo šest dana kasnije.

"Rekli su da ga mogu držati na respiratoru, da može ležati tamo, ali da nikada neće otvoriti oči, nikada neće disati, smiješiti se, hodati ili govoriti", rekao je shrvani otac, čije je riječi prenio New York Post.

Jacobova obitelj apelira na roditelje da paze što njihova djeca rade na društvenim mrežama i da ne koriste iste bez nadzora.

"Pazite što rade na mobitelu. Razgovarajte s njima. Želim da svi znaju za mog sina", naglasio je otac, koji također traži zakonodavce da uvedu dobna ograničenja za lijekove bez recepta kao što je Benadryl.

Nažalost, Jacob nije prva žrtva Benadryl izazova. U kolovozu 2020. djevojčica od 15 godina predozirala se lijekom protiv alergije i preminula. Nakon niza smrtnih slučajeva, proizvođač lijeka Johnson & Johnson upozorio je kako je Benadryl izazov na TikToku iznimno zabrinjavajući, opasan i da ga treba odmah zaustaviti.

Tinejdžer iz američkog Ohija tragično je preminuo nakon što se predozirao lijekovima za alergiju koji se izdaju bez recepta dok je pokušavao izvesti izazov s TikToka.

New York Post piše da je 13-godišnji Jacob Stevens sudjelovao u tzv. Benadryl izazovu u kojem sudionici uzimaju od 12 do 14 antihistaminika, šest puta više od preporučene doze, kako bi izazvali halucinacije, prenosi Index.

Jacobov otac Justin rekao je da je njegov sin prošlog vikenda bio kod kuće s prijateljima kada se predozirao. Video koju su snimili njegovi prijatelji pokazala je kako pije tablete, nakon čega mu se tijelo počelo grčiti. Jacob je nakon toga hitno prevezen u bolnicu i stavljen na respirator. Unatoč svim naporima doktora, dječak je preminuo šest dana kasnije.

"Rekli su da ga mogu držati na respiratoru, da može ležati tamo, ali da nikada neće otvoriti oči, nikada neće disati, smiješiti se, hodati ili govoriti", rekao je shrvani otac, čije je riječi prenio New York Post.

Tinejdžer iz američkog Ohija tragično je preminuo nakon što se predozirao lijekovima za alergiju koji se izdaju bez recepta dok je pokušavao izvesti izazov s TikToka.

New York Post piše da je 13-godišnji Jacob Stevens sudjelovao u tzv. Benadryl izazovu u kojem sudionici uzimaju od 12 do 14 antihistaminika, šest puta više od preporučene doze, kako bi izazvali halucinacije, prenosi Index.

Jacobov otac Justin rekao je da je njegov sin prošlog vikenda bio kod kuće s prijateljima kada se predozirao. Video koju su snimili njegovi prijatelji pokazala je kako pije tablete, nakon čega mu se tijelo počelo grčiti. Jacob je nakon toga hitno prevezen u bolnicu i stavljen na respirator. Unatoč svim naporima doktora, dječak je preminuo šest dana kasnije.

"Rekli su da ga mogu držati na respiratoru, da može ležati tamo, ali da nikada neće otvoriti oči, nikada neće disati, smiješiti se, hodati ili govoriti", rekao je shrvani otac, čije je riječi prenio New York Post.
