Četvrta sezona serije "Yellowstone" snimila se u studenom 2020. godine. Fanovi su, dakle, morali čekati punih godinu dana da se počne emitirati i da vide nastavak na šokantno "Yellowstone 3" finale koje je sugeriralo da neki članovi rančerske obitelji Dutton možda neće doživjeti iduću sezonu.

No, čekanje se, gledajući po prve dvije premijerne epizode, isplatilo, baš kako je ljetošnji "teaser" nagovijestio "Revenge will be worth the wait".

"Yellowstone 4" počinje praskom. Naravno, patrijarh John Dutton (Kevin Costner), iako sav krvav od silnih metaka atentatora iz završnice prijašnje sezone, preživjet će kad ga pronađe Rip (Cole Hauser) i bude prebačen helikopterom u bolnicu.

Živa je i Johnova kćerka i Ripova djevojka Beth (Kelly Reilly), mada gadno opečena nakon eksplozije ureda. Kraljica će išetati iz zgrade s odjećom prekrivenom plamenim jezicima kao John McClane i kulerski zatražiti cigaretu od nekog tipa s ulice. A njezin brat Kayce (Luke Grimes) nalazi se u akciji.

Puškaranje je silovito i "Yellowstone 4" u prvih desetak minuta kao da želi preuzeti titulu vodeće akcijske serije današnjice, ispred "Bandi Londona" i "Kuće od papira".

Ovakva akcija se ne viđa često na malom ekranu: pucačina je snimljena po uzoru na "Vrućinu" i "Sicario", što ne iznenađuje s obzirom da je scenarist potonjeg filma, Taylor Sheridan, kreator ove serije. Kao scenarist ili redatelj Sheridan se specijalizirao za moderne vesterne kao što su "Sve ili ništa" i "Tragovi u snijegu".

Serija "Yellowstone" je nepogrešivo njegovo autorsko djelo, prilagođeno imidžu Costnera kao vječnog kauboja ("Ples s vukovima", "Wyatt Earp).

Novi "Yellowstone" u jednadžbu uključuje i filmove koji su se snimili između treće i četvrte sezone, Costnerov osvetnički vesternski triler "Let Him Go" i Sheridanov akcić "Those Who Wish Me Dead" s Angelinom Jolie.

Motiv osvete je sveprisutan: Rip će kazniti Roarkea (Josh Holloway) tako što mu baci zmiju otrovnicu u lice. Od filma "Oni koji mi žele smrt" Sheridan je preuzeo malog Finna Littlea, ovdje u ulozi tinejdžerskog klinca s kojim će se Beth sprijateljiti u bolnici i postati njegova skrbnica; u njoj se bude majčinski osjećaji, a i u njemu prepoznaje mladog Ripa.

Obitelj je još uvijek ključni motiv serije, neovisno o tome (ili baš zato) što su Duttonovi disfunkcionalna familija. Ako vam to dosad nije upalo u oko, u četvrtoj sezoni bi moglo: Duttonovi su gotovo pa svojevrsni kaubojski odgovor na korporativnu obitelj Roy ("Nasljeđe").

Definitivno postoje sličnosti između Johna kao glave familije i Beth s Loganom i Shiv (Brian Cox, Sarah Snook), dok je Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) nekakva kombinacija Kendalla i Romana (Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin).

Poveznica između serija "Yellowstone" i "Succession" leži i u postojanoj kvaliteti uz minimalne oscilacije, kakvu danas još samo drže "The Crown" i "Ozark".

Svaka nova sezona je barem približno dobra kao prethodna, ako ne i bolja, a privlači i sve više gledatelja, zbog čega će "Yellowstone" u prosincu dobiti i prednastavak ambijentiran u 1883., ovdje najavljen jednom kratkom scenom iz prošlosti Duttonovih.

Sheridanu neće biti lako zadržati pogođen ritam prve dvije epizode, lišene upliva sapunice, ali ako uspije "Yellowstone 4" bi možda mogao biti i najbolja sezona dosad.

Četvrta sezona serije "Yellowstone" snimila se u studenom 2020. godine. Fanovi su, dakle, morali čekati punih godinu dana da se počne emitirati i da vide nastavak na šokantno "Yellowstone 3" finale koje je sugeriralo da neki članovi rančerske obitelji Dutton možda neće doživjeti iduću sezonu.

Puškaranje je silovito i "Yellowstone 4" u prvih desetak minuta kao da želi preuzeti titulu vodeće akcijske serije današnjice, ispred "Bandi Londona" i "Kuće od papira".

Ovakva akcija se ne viđa često na malom ekranu: pucačina je snimljena po uzoru na "Vrućinu" i "Sicario", što ne iznenađuje s obzirom da je scenarist potonjeg filma, Taylor Sheridan, kreator ove serije. Kao scenarist ili redatelj Sheridan se specijalizirao za moderne vesterne kao što su "Sve ili ništa" i "Tragovi u snijegu".

Serija "Yellowstone" je nepogrešivo njegovo autorsko djelo, prilagođeno imidžu Costnera kao vječnog kauboja ("Ples s vukovima", "Wyatt Earp).

Novi "Yellowstone" u jednadžbu uključuje i filmove koji su se snimili između treće i četvrte sezone, Costnerov osvetnički vesternski triler "Let Him Go" i Sheridanov akcić "Those Who Wish Me Dead" s Angelinom Jolie.

Motiv osvete je sveprisutan: Rip će kazniti Roarkea (Josh Holloway) tako što mu baci zmiju otrovnicu u lice. Od filma "Oni koji mi žele smrt" Sheridan je preuzeo malog Finna Littlea, ovdje u ulozi tinejdžerskog klinca s kojim će se Beth sprijateljiti u bolnici i postati njegova skrbnica; u njoj se bude majčinski osjećaji, a i u njemu prepoznaje mladog Ripa.

Obitelj je još uvijek ključni motiv serije, neovisno o tome (ili baš zato) što su Duttonovi disfunkcionalna familija. Ako vam to dosad nije upalo u oko, u četvrtoj sezoni bi moglo: Duttonovi su gotovo pa svojevrsni kaubojski odgovor na korporativnu obitelj Roy ("Nasljeđe").

Definitivno postoje sličnosti između Johna kao glave familije i Beth s Loganom i Shiv (Brian Cox, Sarah Snook), dok je Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) nekakva kombinacija Kendalla i Romana (Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin).

Poveznica između serija "Yellowstone" i "Succession" leži i u postojanoj kvaliteti uz minimalne oscilacije, kakvu danas još samo drže "The Crown" i "Ozark".

Svaka nova sezona je barem približno dobra kao prethodna, ako ne i bolja, a privlači i sve više gledatelja, zbog čega će "Yellowstone" u prosincu dobiti i prednastavak ambijentiran u 1883., ovdje najavljen jednom kratkom scenom iz prošlosti Duttonovih.

Sheridanu neće biti lako zadržati pogođen ritam prve dvije epizode, lišene upliva sapunice, ali ako uspije "Yellowstone 4" bi možda mogao biti i najbolja sezona dosad.

Četvrta sezona serije "Yellowstone" snimila se u studenom 2020. godine. Fanovi su, dakle, morali čekati punih godinu dana da se počne emitirati i da vide nastavak na šokantno "Yellowstone 3" finale koje je sugeriralo da neki članovi rančerske obitelji Dutton možda neće doživjeti iduću sezonu.

No, čekanje se, gledajući po prve dvije premijerne epizode, isplatilo, baš kako je ljetošnji "teaser" nagovijestio "Revenge will be worth the wait".

"Yellowstone 4" počinje praskom. Naravno, patrijarh John Dutton (Kevin Costner), iako sav krvav od silnih metaka atentatora iz završnice prijašnje sezone, preživjet će kad ga pronađe Rip (Cole Hauser) i bude prebačen helikopterom u bolnicu.
