Promjena boje engleske zastave na novom dresu reprezentacije koji prodaje Nike izazvala je kontroverzu u petak, a britanski premijer Rishi Sunak upozorio je da se "takvi nacionalni simboli ne smiju dirati".

Na novom domaćem dresu Engleza, križ sveca zaštitnika Engleske, svetog Jurja, izvezen na tamnoplavom ovratniku, a pojavljuje se u prijelazu plave, crvene i ljubičaste umjesto tradicionalne crvene na bijeloj pozadini.

Ta "zabavna" izmjena prije EURA u lipnju, kako je objasnio Nike, izazvala je bijes navijača, bivših igrača, a sada političkih vođa. Premijer Rishi Sunak rekao je da "više voli" originalnu zastavu i smatra da je bolje ne "dirati" nacionalne simbole:

"Oni su izvor ponosa, identiteta, predstavljaju ono što jesmo i kao takvi smo savršeni".

Čelnik laburističke oporbe Keir Starmer, čije se progresivne ideje općenito stavljaju u suprotnost s onima vladajućih konzervativaca, također je zatražio od Nikea da "preispita" promjenu boje križa sv. Jurja.

"Ja sam veliki ljubitelj nogometa, a ovu zastavu koriste svi, ona je simbol jedinstva. Ne smije se mijenjati. Moramo biti ponosni na nju", komentirao je ovaj navijač Arsenala za Sun. Bivši engleski vratar Peter Shilton također je za BBC rekao da se ne slaže s ovom "značajnom" promjenom:

"Ako počnemo mijenjati boje, neće nam biti bolje."

Prema Nikeu, boje ovog malog izvezenog simbola, smještenog pozadi na kragni dresa, inspirirane su opremom za trening koju je nosio engleski tim 1966. godine, godine kada su osvojili Svjetsko prvenstvo.

"Ovaj dres je moderna verzija tog klasika”, rekao je glasnogovornik američkog proizvođača opreme u izjavi poslanoj medijima.

Promjena boje engleske zastave na novom dresu reprezentacije koji prodaje Nike izazvala je kontroverzu u petak, a britanski premijer Rishi Sunak upozorio je da se "takvi nacionalni simboli ne smiju dirati".

Na novom domaćem dresu Engleza, križ sveca zaštitnika Engleske, svetog Jurja, izvezen na tamnoplavom ovratniku, a pojavljuje se u prijelazu plave, crvene i ljubičaste umjesto tradicionalne crvene na bijeloj pozadini.

Ta "zabavna" izmjena prije EURA u lipnju, kako je objasnio Nike, izazvala je bijes navijača, bivših igrača, a sada političkih vođa. Premijer Rishi Sunak rekao je da "više voli" originalnu zastavu i smatra da je bolje ne "dirati" nacionalne simbole:

"Oni su izvor ponosa, identiteta, predstavljaju ono što jesmo i kao takvi smo savršeni".

Čelnik laburističke oporbe Keir Starmer, čije se progresivne ideje općenito stavljaju u suprotnost s onima vladajućih konzervativaca, također je zatražio od Nikea da "preispita" promjenu boje križa sv. Jurja.

"Ja sam veliki ljubitelj nogometa, a ovu zastavu koriste svi, ona je simbol jedinstva. Ne smije se mijenjati. Moramo biti ponosni na nju", komentirao je ovaj navijač Arsenala za Sun. Bivši engleski vratar Peter Shilton također je za BBC rekao da se ne slaže s ovom "značajnom" promjenom:

"Ako počnemo mijenjati boje, neće nam biti bolje."

Prema Nikeu, boje ovog malog izvezenog simbola, smještenog pozadi na kragni dresa, inspirirane su opremom za trening koju je nosio engleski tim 1966. godine, godine kada su osvojili Svjetsko prvenstvo.

"Ovaj dres je moderna verzija tog klasika”, rekao je glasnogovornik američkog proizvođača opreme u izjavi poslanoj medijima.

Englezi ljuti zbog boja na dresu, premijer upozorio da se ‘takvi nacionalni simboli ne smiju dirati‘

Promjena boje engleske zastave na novom dresu reprezentacije koji prodaje Nike izazvala je kontroverzu u petak, a britanski premijer Rishi Sunak upozorio je da se "takvi nacionalni simboli ne smiju dirati".

Na novom domaćem dresu Engleza, križ sveca zaštitnika Engleske, svetog Jurja, izvezen na tamnoplavom ovratniku, a pojavljuje se u prijelazu plave, crvene i ljubičaste umjesto tradicionalne crvene na bijeloj pozadini.

Ta "zabavna" izmjena prije EURA u lipnju, kako je objasnio Nike, izazvala je bijes navijača, bivših igrača, a sada političkih vođa. Premijer Rishi Sunak rekao je da "više voli" originalnu zastavu i smatra da je bolje ne "dirati" nacionalne simbole:

"Oni su izvor ponosa, identiteta, predstavljaju ono što jesmo i kao takvi smo savršeni".

Čelnik laburističke oporbe Keir Starmer, čije se progresivne ideje općenito stavljaju u suprotnost s onima vladajućih konzervativaca, također je zatražio od Nikea da "preispita" promjenu boje križa sv. Jurja.

"Ja sam veliki ljubitelj nogometa, a ovu zastavu koriste svi, ona je simbol jedinstva. Ne smije se mijenjati. Moramo biti ponosni na nju", komentirao je ovaj navijač Arsenala za Sun. Bivši engleski vratar Peter Shilton također je za BBC rekao da se ne slaže s ovom "značajnom" promjenom:

"Ako počnemo mijenjati boje, neće nam biti bolje."

Prema Nikeu, boje ovog malog izvezenog simbola, smještenog pozadi na kragni dresa, inspirirane su opremom za trening koju je nosio engleski tim 1966. godine, godine kada su osvojili Svjetsko prvenstvo.

"Ovaj dres je moderna verzija tog klasika”, rekao je glasnogovornik američkog proizvođača opreme u izjavi poslanoj medijima.
