Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin optužio je Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) zbog "etničke diskriminacije" ruskih sportaša.

Putin je na konferenciji "Rusija - sportska sila" u Permu optužio MOO da koristi Olimpijske igre kao sredstvo politike i rasizma.

"Zahvaljujući nekim od čelnika modernog Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora saznali smo da poziv na Igre nije bezuvjetno pravo najboljih sportaša, već svojevrsni privilegij, koji se može zaslužiti ne sportskim, već političkim rezultatima. Geste koje nemaju nikakve veze sa sportom," rekao je Putin.

"Same Igre koriste se kao instrument političkog pritiska protiv ljudi koji nemaju nikakve veze s politikom. I kao gruba, a zapravo rasistička, etnička diskriminacija," dodao je Putin.

Rusija je u sukobu s olimpijskim pokretom još od Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Sočiju 2014., gdje je utvrđeno da su njezini sportaši godinama imali koristi od opsežnog programa dopinga sponzoriranog od države, što je Moskva demantirala.

Brojnim ruskim i bjeloruskim sportašima zabranjeni su nastupi na međunarodnim natjecanjima nakon ruske agresije na Ukrajinu, međutim MOO tek treba donijeti odluku o sudjelovanju Rusije i Bjelorusije na OI u Parizu 2024.

Putin je dao i upute za organizaciju Igara BRICS-a koje se gledaju kao potencijalni konkurent Olimpijskim igrama. BRICS je politički savez koji se sastoji od Brazila, Rusije, Indije, Kine i Južne Afrike.

Kontroverzni višesportski događaj trebao bi se održati od 12. do 23. lipnja sljedeće godine u Kazanu, nešto više od mjesec dana prije početka Olimpijskih igara u Parizu 26. srpnja.

Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin optužio je Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) zbog "etničke diskriminacije" ruskih sportaša.

Putin je na konferenciji "Rusija - sportska sila" u Permu optužio MOO da koristi Olimpijske igre kao sredstvo politike i rasizma.

"Zahvaljujući nekim od čelnika modernog Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora saznali smo da poziv na Igre nije bezuvjetno pravo najboljih sportaša, već svojevrsni privilegij, koji se može zaslužiti ne sportskim, već političkim rezultatima. Geste koje nemaju nikakve veze sa sportom," rekao je Putin.

"Same Igre koriste se kao instrument političkog pritiska protiv ljudi koji nemaju nikakve veze s politikom. I kao gruba, a zapravo rasistička, etnička diskriminacija," dodao je Putin.

Rusija je u sukobu s olimpijskim pokretom još od Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Sočiju 2014., gdje je utvrđeno da su njezini sportaši godinama imali koristi od opsežnog programa dopinga sponzoriranog od države, što je Moskva demantirala.

Brojnim ruskim i bjeloruskim sportašima zabranjeni su nastupi na međunarodnim natjecanjima nakon ruske agresije na Ukrajinu, međutim MOO tek treba donijeti odluku o sudjelovanju Rusije i Bjelorusije na OI u Parizu 2024.

Putin je dao i upute za organizaciju Igara BRICS-a koje se gledaju kao potencijalni konkurent Olimpijskim igrama. BRICS je politički savez koji se sastoji od Brazila, Rusije, Indije, Kine i Južne Afrike.

Kontroverzni višesportski događaj trebao bi se održati od 12. do 23. lipnja sljedeće godine u Kazanu, nešto više od mjesec dana prije početka Olimpijskih igara u Parizu 26. srpnja.

Putin kritizirao MOO zbog ‘etničke diskriminacije‘ ruskih i bjeloruskih sportaša

Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin optužio je Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) zbog "etničke diskriminacije" ruskih sportaša.

Putin je na konferenciji "Rusija - sportska sila" u Permu optužio MOO da koristi Olimpijske igre kao sredstvo politike i rasizma.

"Zahvaljujući nekim od čelnika modernog Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora saznali smo da poziv na Igre nije bezuvjetno pravo najboljih sportaša, već svojevrsni privilegij, koji se može zaslužiti ne sportskim, već političkim rezultatima. Geste koje nemaju nikakve veze sa sportom," rekao je Putin.

"Same Igre koriste se kao instrument političkog pritiska protiv ljudi koji nemaju nikakve veze s politikom. I kao gruba, a zapravo rasistička, etnička diskriminacija," dodao je Putin.

Rusija je u sukobu s olimpijskim pokretom još od Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Sočiju 2014., gdje je utvrđeno da su njezini sportaši godinama imali koristi od opsežnog programa dopinga sponzoriranog od države, što je Moskva demantirala.

Brojnim ruskim i bjeloruskim sportašima zabranjeni su nastupi na međunarodnim natjecanjima nakon ruske agresije na Ukrajinu, međutim MOO tek treba donijeti odluku o sudjelovanju Rusije i Bjelorusije na OI u Parizu 2024.

Putin je dao i upute za organizaciju Igara BRICS-a koje se gledaju kao potencijalni konkurent Olimpijskim igrama. BRICS je politički savez koji se sastoji od Brazila, Rusije, Indije, Kine i Južne Afrike.

Kontroverzni višesportski događaj trebao bi se održati od 12. do 23. lipnja sljedeće godine u Kazanu, nešto više od mjesec dana prije početka Olimpijskih igara u Parizu 26. srpnja.
