Na konstituirajućoj sjednici vijeća Gradskog kotara Mertojak, održanoj nakon ponovljenih kotarskih izbora, za predsjednicu kotara izabrana je hrvatska braniteljica i magistrica javne uprave Jagoda Cicvarić Goreta iz redova HDZ-a.

Za nju su glasovali vijećnici liste HDZ-a, koja je na ponovljenim izborima osvojila četiri mandata i time apsolutnu vlast u kotaru. Vijećnici s Nezavisne liste Josipa Perića bili su suzdržani, dok vijećnik Centra nije ni nazočio sjednici, svoj je izostanak opravdao poslovnim obvezama.

Za potpredsjednika kotara izabran je Nediljko Čeko, (također iz redova HDZ-a), humanist, hrvatski branitelji i dugogodišnji darivatelj krvi.

Vijećnici su razgovarali o suradnji s građanima kroz dane otvorenih vrata, koji će se održavati svakog prvog ponedjeljka u mjesecu. Bit će to prilika da građani iznesu svoje prijedloge i želje za poboljšanje života u kvartu, za bolji i ljepši Mertojak.

Pokrenute su pripreme za obilježavanje Dana kotara i blagdana sv. Josipa.

- Hvala svima koji su prepoznali naš program i želju da činimo dobro za naš kvart i naše sugrađane. Brinut ćemo o komunali, ali i zalagati se svim silama da oživimo i kulturne i društvene događaje - kazala nam je Jagoda Cicvarić Goreta.

Na konstituirajućoj sjednici vijeća Gradskog kotara Mertojak, održanoj nakon ponovljenih kotarskih izbora, za predsjednicu kotara izabrana je hrvatska braniteljica i magistrica javne uprave Jagoda Cicvarić Goreta iz redova HDZ-a.

Za nju su glasovali vijećnici liste HDZ-a, koja je na ponovljenim izborima osvojila četiri mandata i time apsolutnu vlast u kotaru. Vijećnici s Nezavisne liste Josipa Perića bili su suzdržani, dok vijećnik Centra nije ni nazočio sjednici, svoj je izostanak opravdao poslovnim obvezama.

Za potpredsjednika kotara izabran je Nediljko Čeko, (također iz redova HDZ-a), humanist, hrvatski branitelji i dugogodišnji darivatelj krvi.

Vijećnici su razgovarali o suradnji s građanima kroz dane otvorenih vrata, koji će se održavati svakog prvog ponedjeljka u mjesecu. Bit će to prilika da građani iznesu svoje prijedloge i želje za poboljšanje života u kvartu, za bolji i ljepši Mertojak.
