Logori zatočeništva kažnjenika i osoba, civila “nepoćudnih” totalitarnim režimima kao oblik nasljeđa onih iz Drugog svjetskog rata, kad su postojali i logori smrti (Dachau, Auschwitz, Treblinka), postoje i danas u raznim dijelovima svijeta.

Neke od njih, posebno poznate iz doba surove staljinističke vladavine, opisao je i nobelovac Aleksandar Solženjicin u svojoj znamenitoj knjizi “Arhipelag Gulag” u dalekome Sibiru tadašnjega SSSR-a.

U nas je po svome zlu i zločinu obilježen Jasenovac. No, bilo je i logora koji doduše nisu slovili kao logori smrti, ali u kojima su teške godine uzništva proveli nevini civili, često cijele obitelji.

U Dalmaciji je u doba talijanske fašističke okupacije bio poznat logor na otoku Molatu, koji su Talijani koji su okupirali i pripojili Dalmaciju zvali Melada. Onamo su okupatori slali u “internaciju” brojne građane i obitelji čiji su članovi bili antifašisti ili se borili u partizanima.

Nakon rata u više navrata je iz dalmatinskih gradova upriličen posjet Molatu, pa i iz Šibenika, odakle je stotinjak bivših logoraša vozio legendarni brod “Tijat”, koji je i danas još u službi i na usluzi putnicima i turistima za šibenske otoke.

Na jedno putovanje na Molat krenuli smo i mi sredinom šezdesetih godina, o čemu je sačuvana i snimka skupine, koju smo snimili pri dolasku na pustopoljini Molata gdje je bio logor, od koga su ostala tek dva napuštena objekta. Ali, nigdje nismo vidjeli obilježja da je tu bio logor.

Iz Šibenika smo na putu do Molata od dva sata “takali” Kaprije i Žirje, odakle su fašisti u doba okupacije također pokupili velik broj “kandidata” za logor.

Slušali smo priče tih stradalnika terora kao da im se sve događalo jučer. Strah za svoje živote, glad, razne bolesti, batine.

Mnogi su na Molatu ostavili svoje kosti prije negoli je došla sloboda. Fašistička Italija kapitulirala je ujesen 1943. godine. Logorska posada stražara i batinaša s Molata je pobjegla, a mučenici su se mogli vratiti svojim kućama sretni što su živi.

Logori zatočeništva kažnjenika i osoba, civila “nepoćudnih” totalitarnim režimima kao oblik nasljeđa onih iz Drugog svjetskog rata, kad su postojali i logori smrti (Dachau, Auschwitz, Treblinka), postoje i danas u raznim dijelovima svijeta.

Neke od njih, posebno poznate iz doba surove staljinističke vladavine, opisao je i nobelovac Aleksandar Solženjicin u svojoj znamenitoj knjizi “Arhipelag Gulag” u dalekome Sibiru tadašnjega SSSR-a.

U nas je po svome zlu i zločinu obilježen Jasenovac. No, bilo je i logora koji doduše nisu slovili kao logori smrti, ali u kojima su teške godine uzništva proveli nevini civili, često cijele obitelji.

U Dalmaciji je u doba talijanske fašističke okupacije bio poznat logor na otoku Molatu, koji su Talijani koji su okupirali i pripojili Dalmaciju zvali Melada. Onamo su okupatori slali u “internaciju” brojne građane i obitelji čiji su članovi bili antifašisti ili se borili u partizanima.

Nakon rata u više navrata je iz dalmatinskih gradova upriličen posjet Molatu, pa i iz Šibenika, odakle je stotinjak bivših logoraša vozio legendarni brod “Tijat”, koji je i danas još u službi i na usluzi putnicima i turistima za šibenske otoke.

Na jedno putovanje na Molat krenuli smo i mi sredinom šezdesetih godina, o čemu je sačuvana i snimka skupine, koju smo snimili pri dolasku na pustopoljini Molata gdje je bio logor, od koga su ostala tek dva napuštena objekta. Ali, nigdje nismo vidjeli obilježja da je tu bio logor.

Iz Šibenika smo na putu do Molata od dva sata “takali” Kaprije i Žirje, odakle su fašisti u doba okupacije također pokupili velik broj “kandidata” za logor.

Slušali smo priče tih stradalnika terora kao da im se sve događalo jučer. Strah za svoje živote, glad, razne bolesti, batine.

Mnogi su na Molatu ostavili svoje kosti prije negoli je došla sloboda. Fašistička Italija kapitulirala je ujesen 1943. godine. Logorska posada stražara i batinaša s Molata je pobjegla, a mučenici su se mogli vratiti svojim kućama sretni što su živi.

Logori zatočeništva kažnjenika i osoba, civila “nepoćudnih” totalitarnim režimima kao oblik nasljeđa onih iz Drugog svjetskog rata, kad su postojali i logori smrti (Dachau, Auschwitz, Treblinka), postoje i danas u raznim dijelovima svijeta.

Neke od njih, posebno poznate iz doba surove staljinističke vladavine, opisao je i nobelovac Aleksandar Solženjicin u svojoj znamenitoj knjizi “Arhipelag Gulag” u dalekome Sibiru tadašnjega SSSR-a.

U nas je po svome zlu i zločinu obilježen Jasenovac. No, bilo je i logora koji doduše nisu slovili kao logori smrti, ali u kojima su teške godine uzništva proveli nevini civili, često cijele obitelji.

U Dalmaciji je u doba talijanske fašističke okupacije bio poznat logor na otoku Molatu, koji su Talijani koji su okupirali i pripojili Dalmaciju zvali Melada. Onamo su okupatori slali u “internaciju” brojne građane i obitelji čiji su članovi bili antifašisti ili se borili u partizanima.
