Osim djece na klizalištu na Poljani koja su s jučerašnjim danom zaključila svoje ovogodišnje uživanje u zimskim radostima na popularnoj lokaciji, Šibenik je gotovo opustio, čemu je pridonijela i hladnoća koja je stisnula Krešimirov grad tijekom proteklog tjedna.
Šetnjom gradom od jednoga sata mogu se susresti tek rijetki prolaznici u središtu grada sa zatvorenim dućanima.
Prije desetak godina u Šibeniku smo susretali ljude s maskama na licu i čudili se čemu to. Doduše, bili su to turisti Azijci, ponajviše Japanci, kod kojih je to njihov nacionalni običaj, navika. Štititi se na javnim mjestima na taj način od mogućih infekcija.
Znali smo tome i prigovoriti, kao: “Što oni misle kakva smo mi zemlja...“.
A danas, u doba ove pošasti od korone i sami se čudimo kako je u gradu nikoga s maskama na licu nema, iako to nije obveza. Proveli smo neko vrijeme ulicama grada poljanom i obalom i vidjeli samo jednu maskiranu šetačicu.
I među velikim skupinama djece u klizanju na ledu nikoga nema vidjeti sa zaštitnom maskom. Tog uzrasta mladih do petnaestak godina kao da se to na njihovu okupljanju uopće ne tiče. I svi oko njih, ponajprije roditelji - mrtvi hladni.

Posebna su priča u takvim prilikama prazne šibenske ulice, sa sve većim brojem dućana što stavljaju ključ u bravu i zastiru izloge papirom, dok ih vlasnici prostora uporno nude za iznajmljivanje. Ali u sadašnjim uvjetima, na oglase o ponudama odgovara nema. Zatvori butigu i čekaj „bolje sutra“.
Nije samo po srijedi epidemija, već opće stanje odumiranje dijelova grada s toliko praznih kuća u kojima nitko ne stanuje, jer su stariji pomrli a mlađi se iselili. Pa je „revitalizacija“ tih nekad prenapučenih gradskih predjela te samo puka želja. Pustošenju trgovine kumovala je i vrsta jednoobrazne ponude namijenjene pretežito turistima koji su ih jednostavno - zaobilazili.
Nešto živosti vidjeli smo na šibenskoj rivi u dijelu ugostiteljstva čiji su vlasnici odlučili poslovati u vrlo otežanim, sada i zimskim uvjetima. Ipak, gosti se broje na prste. Nije bolje ni s kafićima koji su ljetos bili prepuni a sada zjape prazni.
Naposljetku, svemu pridonosi i zima, jer vani samo što ne mrzne. Ali imali smo i šibenskih zima, s mrazem i s njegovima, osobito 2012. pa je bilo drukčije.
„Ako je i zima, nije lav“, poznata je stara šaljiva uzrečica. Očito je, sada u mnogočemu šale nema!

Osim djece na klizalištu na Poljani koja su s jučerašnjim danom zaključila svoje ovogodišnje uživanje u zimskim radostima na popularnoj lokaciji, Šibenik je gotovo opustio, čemu je pridonijela i hladnoća koja je stisnula Krešimirov grad tijekom proteklog tjedna.
Šetnjom gradom od jednoga sata mogu se susresti tek rijetki prolaznici u središtu grada sa zatvorenim dućanima.
Prije desetak godina u Šibeniku smo susretali ljude s maskama na licu i čudili se čemu to. Doduše, bili su to turisti Azijci, ponajviše Japanci, kod kojih je to njihov nacionalni običaj, navika. Štititi se na javnim mjestima na taj način od mogućih infekcija.
Znali smo tome i prigovoriti, kao: “Što oni misle kakva smo mi zemlja...“.
A danas, u doba ove pošasti od korone i sami se čudimo kako je u gradu nikoga s maskama na licu nema, iako to nije obveza. Proveli smo neko vrijeme ulicama grada poljanom i obalom i vidjeli samo jednu maskiranu šetačicu.
I među velikim skupinama djece u klizanju na ledu nikoga nema vidjeti sa zaštitnom maskom. Tog uzrasta mladih do petnaestak godina kao da se to na njihovu okupljanju uopće ne tiče. I svi oko njih, ponajprije roditelji - mrtvi hladni.

Posebna su priča u takvim prilikama prazne šibenske ulice, sa sve većim brojem dućana što stavljaju ključ u bravu i zastiru izloge papirom, dok ih vlasnici prostora uporno nude za iznajmljivanje. Ali u sadašnjim uvjetima, na oglase o ponudama odgovara nema. Zatvori butigu i čekaj „bolje sutra“.
Nije samo po srijedi epidemija, već opće stanje odumiranje dijelova grada s toliko praznih kuća u kojima nitko ne stanuje, jer su stariji pomrli a mlađi se iselili. Pa je „revitalizacija“ tih nekad prenapučenih gradskih predjela te samo puka želja. Pustošenju trgovine kumovala je i vrsta jednoobrazne ponude namijenjene pretežito turistima koji su ih jednostavno - zaobilazili.
Nešto živosti vidjeli smo na šibenskoj rivi u dijelu ugostiteljstva čiji su vlasnici odlučili poslovati u vrlo otežanim, sada i zimskim uvjetima. Ipak, gosti se broje na prste. Nije bolje ni s kafićima koji su ljetos bili prepuni a sada zjape prazni.
Naposljetku, svemu pridonosi i zima, jer vani samo što ne mrzne. Ali imali smo i šibenskih zima, s mrazem i s njegovima, osobito 2012. pa je bilo drukčije.
„Ako je i zima, nije lav“, poznata je stara šaljiva uzrečica. Očito je, sada u mnogočemu šale nema!
