Švedski su dužnosnici upozorili svoje građane da budu ‘spremniji nego ikada‘ za slučaj rata.

U svibnju 2022. su Švedska i Finska, poznate po svojoj neutralnosti, najavile da će se pridružiti NATO savezu kao odgovor na rusku invaziju Ukrajine. Finska se službeno pridružila savezu u travnju 2023., a kandidatura Švedske je naišla na prepreke kada je turski predsjednik Erdogan kritizirao navodnu neaktivnost nacije protiv islamofobije, nazvavši to ‘crvenom linijom‘. I Mađarska je izrazila zabrinutost oko članstva Švedske u NATO-u.

Erdogan je kasnije dao odobrenje za pristupanje Švedske NATO-u, iako Velika narodna skupština Turske tek treba dati zeleno svjetlo. Mađarski premijer Orban rekao je krajem prošle godine da se njegovoj zemlji ne žuri dati odobrenje.

Međutim, glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg rekao je prošlog tjedna za njemačku novinsku agenciju DPA da je Švedska učinila sve potrebne ustupke, predviđajući da će zemlja biti odobrena kao 32. članica NATO-a do sljedećeg summita, zakazanog za srpanj u Washingtonu.

Ulazak Švedske u savez pojačao bi regionalni utjecaj NATO-a dajući svih pet nordijskih nacija gotovo potpunu kontrolu nad ‘NATO jezerom‘, referencom na stratešku važnost Baltičkog mora. Vojna zračna snaga NATO-u u ime Švedske bila bi izazov ruskim snagama na moru, rekli su stručnjaci za Newsweek.

Švedski ministar civilne obrane Carl-Oskar Bohlin u nedjelju je, tijekom godišnje konferencije u Sälenu, izdao upozorenje građanima.

- Za naciju kojoj je mir bio ugodan suputnik gotovo 210 godina, ideja da je to nepomična konstanta je opasnija nego ikad. Mnogi su to rekli prije mene, no dopustite da to učinim u službenom svojstvu i vrlo jasno: Moglo bi doći do rata u Švedskoj, rekao je Bohlin.

Dodao je da njegove riječi nisu za cilj imale izazvati strah, već stvoriti svijest o situaciji. Istaknuo je kako su i Ukrajinci vjerojatno mislili da je njihov sukob s Rusijom stvar prošlosti sve dok Putin nije odlučio ilegalno anektirati Krim 2014., a zatim osam godina kasnije pokrenuti potpunu invaziju na zemlju.

- Nije dovoljno samo razmišljati o tome. Civilna obrana nije primarno teoretska vježba, dodaje Bohlin.

Švedski ministar obrane Pål Jonson izdao je isto upozorenje tijekom govora u ponedjeljak u Sälenu. Rekao je da ratovi u Ukrajini i na Bliskom istoku pokazuju da je svijet postao opasniji nego što je bio prije samo godinu dana.

 

Također je naveo nesigurnost u pogledu smjera kojim će SAD ići nakon izbora 2024.

- Ne može se isključiti oružani napad na Švedsku. Rat može doći i do nas. Ova ozbiljna vremena zahtijevaju jasnoću vizije, sposobnost djelovanja i upornost — jasnoću vizije da bismo razumjeli da je cilj Rusije i dalje iskorjenjivanje slobodne Ukrajine i stvaranje Europe u kojoj je ‘moć ispravna‘ s tampon-državama i interesnim sferama, rekao je Jonson i dodao da je to već doživljeno u prošlosti.

- Ne smijemo se vratiti tamo i dopustiti da naša djeca odrastaju u takvoj Europi, rekao je Jonson, prenosi Newsweek.

Širi obrambeni plan Švedske trebao bi biti predstavljen kasnije ove godine, a za njega švedski dužnosnici smatraju da će ojačati utjecaj zemlje kao NATO saveznice.

Švedski su dužnosnici upozorili svoje građane da budu ‘spremniji nego ikada‘ za slučaj rata.

U svibnju 2022. su Švedska i Finska, poznate po svojoj neutralnosti, najavile da će se pridružiti NATO savezu kao odgovor na rusku invaziju Ukrajine. Finska se službeno pridružila savezu u travnju 2023., a kandidatura Švedske je naišla na prepreke kada je turski predsjednik Erdogan kritizirao navodnu neaktivnost nacije protiv islamofobije, nazvavši to ‘crvenom linijom‘. I Mađarska je izrazila zabrinutost oko članstva Švedske u NATO-u.

Erdogan je kasnije dao odobrenje za pristupanje Švedske NATO-u, iako Velika narodna skupština Turske tek treba dati zeleno svjetlo. Mađarski premijer Orban rekao je krajem prošle godine da se njegovoj zemlji ne žuri dati odobrenje.

Međutim, glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg rekao je prošlog tjedna za njemačku novinsku agenciju DPA da je Švedska učinila sve potrebne ustupke, predviđajući da će zemlja biti odobrena kao 32. članica NATO-a do sljedećeg summita, zakazanog za srpanj u Washingtonu.

Ulazak Švedske u savez pojačao bi regionalni utjecaj NATO-a dajući svih pet nordijskih nacija gotovo potpunu kontrolu nad ‘NATO jezerom‘, referencom na stratešku važnost Baltičkog mora. Vojna zračna snaga NATO-u u ime Švedske bila bi izazov ruskim snagama na moru, rekli su stručnjaci za Newsweek.

Švedski ministar civilne obrane Carl-Oskar Bohlin u nedjelju je, tijekom godišnje konferencije u Sälenu, izdao upozorenje građanima.

- Za naciju kojoj je mir bio ugodan suputnik gotovo 210 godina, ideja da je to nepomična konstanta je opasnija nego ikad. Mnogi su to rekli prije mene, no dopustite da to učinim u službenom svojstvu i vrlo jasno: Moglo bi doći do rata u Švedskoj, rekao je Bohlin.

Dodao je da njegove riječi nisu za cilj imale izazvati strah, već stvoriti svijest o situaciji. Istaknuo je kako su i Ukrajinci vjerojatno mislili da je njihov sukob s Rusijom stvar prošlosti sve dok Putin nije odlučio ilegalno anektirati Krim 2014., a zatim osam godina kasnije pokrenuti potpunu invaziju na zemlju.

- Nije dovoljno samo razmišljati o tome. Civilna obrana nije primarno teoretska vježba, dodaje Bohlin.

Švedski ministar obrane Pål Jonson izdao je isto upozorenje tijekom govora u ponedjeljak u Sälenu. Rekao je da ratovi u Ukrajini i na Bliskom istoku pokazuju da je svijet postao opasniji nego što je bio prije samo godinu dana.

 

Također je naveo nesigurnost u pogledu smjera kojim će SAD ići nakon izbora 2024.

- Ne može se isključiti oružani napad na Švedsku. Rat može doći i do nas. Ova ozbiljna vremena zahtijevaju jasnoću vizije, sposobnost djelovanja i upornost — jasnoću vizije da bismo razumjeli da je cilj Rusije i dalje iskorjenjivanje slobodne Ukrajine i stvaranje Europe u kojoj je ‘moć ispravna‘ s tampon-državama i interesnim sferama, rekao je Jonson i dodao da je to već doživljeno u prošlosti.

- Ne smijemo se vratiti tamo i dopustiti da naša djeca odrastaju u takvoj Europi, rekao je Jonson, prenosi Newsweek.

Dramatično upozorenje švedske vlade građanima: ‘Pripremite se. Ne želimo izazvati strah, ali...‘

Švedski su dužnosnici upozorili svoje građane da budu ‘spremniji nego ikada‘ za slučaj rata.

U svibnju 2022. su Švedska i Finska, poznate po svojoj neutralnosti, najavile da će se pridružiti NATO savezu kao odgovor na rusku invaziju Ukrajine. Finska se službeno pridružila savezu u travnju 2023., a kandidatura Švedske je naišla na prepreke kada je turski predsjednik Erdogan kritizirao navodnu neaktivnost nacije protiv islamofobije, nazvavši to ‘crvenom linijom‘. I Mađarska je izrazila zabrinutost oko članstva Švedske u NATO-u.

Erdogan je kasnije dao odobrenje za pristupanje Švedske NATO-u, iako Velika narodna skupština Turske tek treba dati zeleno svjetlo. Mađarski premijer Orban rekao je krajem prošle godine da se njegovoj zemlji ne žuri dati odobrenje.

Međutim, glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg rekao je prošlog tjedna za njemačku novinsku agenciju DPA da je Švedska učinila sve potrebne ustupke, predviđajući da će zemlja biti odobrena kao 32. članica NATO-a do sljedećeg summita, zakazanog za srpanj u Washingtonu.

Ulazak Švedske u savez pojačao bi regionalni utjecaj NATO-a dajući svih pet nordijskih nacija gotovo potpunu kontrolu nad ‘NATO jezerom‘, referencom na stratešku važnost Baltičkog mora. Vojna zračna snaga NATO-u u ime Švedske bila bi izazov ruskim snagama na moru, rekli su stručnjaci za Newsweek.

Švedski ministar civilne obrane Carl-Oskar Bohlin u nedjelju je, tijekom godišnje konferencije u Sälenu, izdao upozorenje građanima.
