Žena zaručena za svoju bivšu učiteljicu otkrila je kako zbog dobne razlike od čak 25 godina ljudi često za njih misle da su unuka i baka, a ne ljubavne partnerice, piše Daily Mail.
Monica Ketchum (31) iz Big Rapidsa u Michiga. nu, bila je 2004. ljubimica svoje učiteljice znanosti Michelle Foster (56).
16 godina nakon što je Monica maturirala, odlučila se putem Facebooka javiti svojoj nekadašnjoj učiteljici, piše Jutarnji list.
Dvije su žene ubrzo postale vrlo bliske, a prijateljstvo se nakon nekog vremena pretvorilo u ljubavni odnos. Iako one same svoju razliku u godinama ne vide kao problem, drugi ljudi često misle da je Michelle Monicina mama ili čak baka.
Unatoč dobnoj razlici, dvije žene imaju mnogo toga zajedničkog: obje vole glazbu, kampiranje, aktivnosti na otvorenom i craft pivo.
‘Na početku je ta dobra razlika najviše brinula Michelle, dok je meni bilo posve svejedno. Uvijek su me privlačili stariji ljudi - privlače me stare duše, pa mi dob nije predstavljala nikakav problem‘, kaže Monica no ipak dodaje da ju povrijedi ako netko pomisli da joj je Michelle mama ili baka.

‘Često me pitaju jeli mi to mama, pa sam nabavila majicu na kojoj piše ‘Ne, to mi nije mama!‘ Pokušavam ne misliti o tome, no povrijedi me takvo pitanje. Zašto je to ljudima toliko važno?‘
Nije joj jasno zašto ljudi uopće moraju postaviti to pitanje, pogotovo ako vide dvije žene da se ljube u javnosti.
‘Naučili smo se ne brinuti o tome, ali ako ste nas vidjeli da smo se poljubile, kako to možete uopće pitati?‘, kaže Monica.
‘I još nešto što me stalno pitaju je jesam li bila zaljubljena u nju kad sam imala 13 godina. Naravno da nisam! Ona mi je bila učiteljica i to je bilo sve.‘

Dobna razlika bila je veći problem za Michelle. Iako joj je bilo jako drago kad su se ponovno povezale putem Facebooka, brinulo ju je kako će to utjecati na njihovu vezu.
‘Bila sam zabrinuta no s vremenom sam naučila to pustiti. Postalo mi je jasno da moram donijeti odluku sama za sebe bez obzira na to što netko misli. Tada kao da mi je pao kamen sa srca. Otkad sam to pustila, mi smo kao par procvjetale. Shvatila sam da ljudi mogu misliti što žele, a da ja moram raditi što moram kako bih bila sretna. A jako sam sretna što pored sebe imam tako prekrasnu dušu s kojom mogu provesti ostatak života‘, kaže Michelle.
Objasnila je da je znala da je Monica ona prava čim je 31-godišnjakinja ponudila da se brine o njoj.
‘Uvijek sam se voljela brinuti o drugim ljudima, a kad me ona pitala može li se brinuti o meni, ne mogu vam ni opisati kako je to bio dobar osjećaj.‘
Monica je odlučila javiti se Michelle nakon jedne teške obiteljske situacije. Odrasla je u strogoj kršćanskoj obitelji, no udaljila se od obitelji kad je otkrila da je gej.

Za tada 13-godišnjicu Monicu škola je bila pravo utočište, pa je kasnije odlučila ponovno se javiti učiteljici s kojom je imala divan odnos.
Kad su se ponovno susrele, otišle su na ručak koji je potrajao pet sati.
‘Jako smo se zbližile i postale prijateljice. Mogle smo o svemu razgovarati. Obje smo prošle kroz teško razdoblje pa smo se osjećale dobro u društvu nekoga tko te razumije i s kime možeš biti ranjiv.‘
Obje su žene prekinule svoje prijateljske veze kako bi mogle biti zajedno, a Michelle se čak razvela od svoje tadašnje supruge.
Monica je Michelle zaprosila u rujnu 2022. Otada žive zajedno, a obje imaju i djecu iz prijašnjih brakova. Planiraju se vjenčati u lipnju ove godine.
Iako ih stalno napadaju internetski trolovi i tvrde da je Michelle zavela Monicu dok je ova još bila njezina učenica, to ne može biti dalje od istine. Unatoč tome što ljudi ponekad pogrešno gledaju na njihovu vezu, žene o njoj javno govore na društvenim mrežama, piše Jutarnji list.
Objašnjavaju kako je ‘jako važno biti otvoren o pitanjima zajednice koja silno treba svoj glas u javnosti‘.
‘Želimo biti one u kojima će ljudi u sličnoj situaciji naći utjehu i podršku. Želimo svima pokazati što je ljubav. Napadaju nas zbog razlika u godinama i to ne možemo razumjeti. No ako to ne smeta nama, zašto bi to smetalo drugima? Ljubav je ljubav i smijemo voljeti koga god želimo.‘

Žena zaručena za svoju bivšu učiteljicu otkrila je kako zbog dobne razlike od čak 25 godina ljudi često za njih misle da su unuka i baka, a ne ljubavne partnerice, piše Daily Mail.
Monica Ketchum (31) iz Big Rapidsa u Michiga. nu, bila je 2004. ljubimica svoje učiteljice znanosti Michelle Foster (56).
16 godina nakon što je Monica maturirala, odlučila se putem Facebooka javiti svojoj nekadašnjoj učiteljici, piše Jutarnji list.
Dvije su žene ubrzo postale vrlo bliske, a prijateljstvo se nakon nekog vremena pretvorilo u ljubavni odnos. Iako one same svoju razliku u godinama ne vide kao problem, drugi ljudi često misle da je Michelle Monicina mama ili čak baka.
Unatoč dobnoj razlici, dvije žene imaju mnogo toga zajedničkog: obje vole glazbu, kampiranje, aktivnosti na otvorenom i craft pivo.
‘Na početku je ta dobra razlika najviše brinula Michelle, dok je meni bilo posve svejedno. Uvijek su me privlačili stariji ljudi - privlače me stare duše, pa mi dob nije predstavljala nikakav problem‘, kaže Monica no ipak dodaje da ju povrijedi ako netko pomisli da joj je Michelle mama ili baka.

‘Često me pitaju jeli mi to mama, pa sam nabavila majicu na kojoj piše ‘Ne, to mi nije mama!‘ Pokušavam ne misliti o tome, no povrijedi me takvo pitanje. Zašto je to ljudima toliko važno?‘
Nije joj jasno zašto ljudi uopće moraju postaviti to pitanje, pogotovo ako vide dvije žene da se ljube u javnosti.
‘Naučili smo se ne brinuti o tome, ali ako ste nas vidjeli da smo se poljubile, kako to možete uopće pitati?‘, kaže Monica.
‘I još nešto što me stalno pitaju je jesam li bila zaljubljena u nju kad sam imala 13 godina. Naravno da nisam! Ona mi je bila učiteljica i to je bilo sve.‘

Dobna razlika bila je veći problem za Michelle. Iako joj je bilo jako drago kad su se ponovno povezale putem Facebooka, brinulo ju je kako će to utjecati na njihovu vezu.
‘Bila sam zabrinuta no s vremenom sam naučila to pustiti. Postalo mi je jasno da moram donijeti odluku sama za sebe bez obzira na to što netko misli. Tada kao da mi je pao kamen sa srca. Otkad sam to pustila, mi smo kao par procvjetale. Shvatila sam da ljudi mogu misliti što žele, a da ja moram raditi što moram kako bih bila sretna. A jako sam sretna što pored sebe imam tako prekrasnu dušu s kojom mogu provesti ostatak života‘, kaže Michelle.
Objasnila je da je znala da je Monica ona prava čim je 31-godišnjakinja ponudila da se brine o njoj.
‘Uvijek sam se voljela brinuti o drugim ljudima, a kad me ona pitala može li se brinuti o meni, ne mogu vam ni opisati kako je to bio dobar osjećaj.‘
Monica je odlučila javiti se Michelle nakon jedne teške obiteljske situacije. Odrasla je u strogoj kršćanskoj obitelji, no udaljila se od obitelji kad je otkrila da je gej.

Za tada 13-godišnjicu Monicu škola je bila pravo utočište, pa je kasnije odlučila ponovno se javiti učiteljici s kojom je imala divan odnos.
Kad su se ponovno susrele, otišle su na ručak koji je potrajao pet sati.
‘Jako smo se zbližile i postale prijateljice. Mogle smo o svemu razgovarati. Obje smo prošle kroz teško razdoblje pa smo se osjećale dobro u društvu nekoga tko te razumije i s kime možeš biti ranjiv.‘
Obje su žene prekinule svoje prijateljske veze kako bi mogle biti zajedno, a Michelle se čak razvela od svoje tadašnje supruge.
Monica je Michelle zaprosila u rujnu 2022. Otada žive zajedno, a obje imaju i djecu iz prijašnjih brakova. Planiraju se vjenčati u lipnju ove godine.
Iako ih stalno napadaju internetski trolovi i tvrde da je Michelle zavela Monicu dok je ova još bila njezina učenica, to ne može biti dalje od istine. Unatoč tome što ljudi ponekad pogrešno gledaju na njihovu vezu, žene o njoj javno govore na društvenim mrežama, piše Jutarnji list.
Objašnjavaju kako je ‘jako važno biti otvoren o pitanjima zajednice koja silno treba svoj glas u javnosti‘.
‘Želimo biti one u kojima će ljudi u sličnoj situaciji naći utjehu i podršku. Želimo svima pokazati što je ljubav. Napadaju nas zbog razlika u godinama i to ne možemo razumjeti. No ako to ne smeta nama, zašto bi to smetalo drugima? Ljubav je ljubav i smijemo voljeti koga god želimo.‘
