Na stranici 'Mamine tajne..' jedna žena je postavila pitanje: Znate li što je ovo? Bratu se pojavilo na nozi... I postavila je jednu fotografiju crvene lezije.

Većina žena je rekla da se radi o ugrizu krpelja. I doista, prema fotografiji koju je objavio HZJZ radi se o Lyme boreliozi (Lajmska bolest).
- Lyme borelioza je zarazna bolest uzrokovana bakterijom Borrelia borgdorferi. Na ljude se prenosi ubodom zaraženog krpelja.
Karakteristični simptomi su visoka temperatura, glavobolja, umor te osip na koži koji se naziva erythema migrans. Ukoliko se bolest ne liječi u ovoj ranoj fazi, infekcija se širi na zglobove, srce i živčani sustav.
3-30 dana nakon uboda krpelja na samom mjestu uboda u 80% zaraženih ljudi javlja se crvenilo prstenastog oblika (EM- erythema migrans) koje se širi do čak 30 cm u promjeru, koža u sredini prstena ostaje blijeda. Ova kožna promjena ne svrbi, ne boli ali je lagano uzdignuta i topla.
Kod nekih osoba uz osip javlja se i visoka temperatura, umor, glavobolja, bolovi u mišićima i zglobovima te otok limfnih čvorova.
Ukoliko se ne primjene antibiotici u ovom početnom stadiju unutar nekoliko tjedana ili mjeseci nakon pojave EM, infekcija se širi na druge dijelove tijela i organske sustave.

Tada se od simptoma javljaju:
-nove kožne lezije na drugim dijelovima tijela
-paraliza facijalnog živca
-jake glavobolje i zakočenost vrata zbog početnog meningitisa
-bolovi i oticanje velikih zglobova
-probadajući bolovi koji remete san
-poremećaji u radu srca
Ovakvo stanje može trajati tjednima i mjesecima s povremenim poboljšanjima. Bez liječenja 60% pacijenata razvije artritis s jakim bolovima i oticanjem velikih zglobova, osobito koljena. Oko 5% pacijenata ima neurološke probleme u smislu probadajućih, munjevitih bolova, trnce u rukama i nogama, te deficit kratkotrajnog pamćenja.
Dijagnoza bolesti u ranom stadiju postavlja se na temelju kliničke slike a kasnije serološkim testovima.
Bolest se liječi u fazi kožne promjene Sumamedom ili nekim drugim antibiotikom čime se u potpunosti prekida daljnji razvoj bolesti. Međutim, ukoliko se bolest ne prekine u ovoj fazi, dalje napreduje do neuroloških ili srčanih oblika a tada se liječi intravenskom primjenom penicilina, dakle neophodna je hospitalizacija. Dio pacijenata koji su liječeni antibioticima godinama nakon izlječenja ima zaostale neke simptome kao što su bolovi u mišićima i zglobovima, kognitivni deficiti, poremećaji sna i umor - navela je za Zavod za javno zdravstvo "Sveti Rok" Virovitičko - podravske županije Darija Petrovčić, dr. med., specijalist epidemiolog.
- Lyme boreliozu prenose zaraženi krpelji koji sišući krv na domaćinu ubacuju i svoju "slinu" - tekućinu koja sadrži Borreliu burgdorferi. Pretpostavlja se da krpelj mora biti zaboden u kožu domaćina 48 h ili više da bi prenio bakteriju. Bolest se ne prenosi s bolesne osobe na zdravu.
Ukoliko ste imali na svom tijelu krpelja i izvadili ga, pregledavajte mjesto uboda slijedećih mjesec dana. Ako primijetite crvenilo kože u obliku prstena javite se svom liječniku.
Najbolja mjera za sprječavanje Lyme borelioze je prevencija. Izbjegnite ubod krpelja na slijedeće načine:
izbjegavajte kretanje kroz grmlje i drugo gusto raslinje
koristite repelente, sredstva koja odbijaju insekte
neka tijelo bude pokriveno odjećom pri boravku u prirodi (dugi rukavi i nogavice, nogavice ugurane u čarape)
nakon povratka iz prirode promijenite odjeću, otuširajte se i pregledajte tijelo
ukoliko pronađete krpelja na tijelu što prije ga uklonite
primijenite repelente i na svojim kućnim ljubimcima jer oni mogu donijeti zaražene krpelje u vašu blizinu - objasnila je liječnica.

Na stranici 'Mamine tajne..' jedna žena je postavila pitanje: Znate li što je ovo? Bratu se pojavilo na nozi... I postavila je jednu fotografiju crvene lezije.

Većina žena je rekla da se radi o ugrizu krpelja. I doista, prema fotografiji koju je objavio HZJZ radi se o Lyme boreliozi (Lajmska bolest).
- Lyme borelioza je zarazna bolest uzrokovana bakterijom Borrelia borgdorferi. Na ljude se prenosi ubodom zaraženog krpelja.
Karakteristični simptomi su visoka temperatura, glavobolja, umor te osip na koži koji se naziva erythema migrans. Ukoliko se bolest ne liječi u ovoj ranoj fazi, infekcija se širi na zglobove, srce i živčani sustav.
3-30 dana nakon uboda krpelja na samom mjestu uboda u 80% zaraženih ljudi javlja se crvenilo prstenastog oblika (EM- erythema migrans) koje se širi do čak 30 cm u promjeru, koža u sredini prstena ostaje blijeda. Ova kožna promjena ne svrbi, ne boli ali je lagano uzdignuta i topla.
Kod nekih osoba uz osip javlja se i visoka temperatura, umor, glavobolja, bolovi u mišićima i zglobovima te otok limfnih čvorova.
Ukoliko se ne primjene antibiotici u ovom početnom stadiju unutar nekoliko tjedana ili mjeseci nakon pojave EM, infekcija se širi na druge dijelove tijela i organske sustave.

Tada se od simptoma javljaju:
-nove kožne lezije na drugim dijelovima tijela
-paraliza facijalnog živca
-jake glavobolje i zakočenost vrata zbog početnog meningitisa
-bolovi i oticanje velikih zglobova
-probadajući bolovi koji remete san
-poremećaji u radu srca
Ovakvo stanje može trajati tjednima i mjesecima s povremenim poboljšanjima. Bez liječenja 60% pacijenata razvije artritis s jakim bolovima i oticanjem velikih zglobova, osobito koljena. Oko 5% pacijenata ima neurološke probleme u smislu probadajućih, munjevitih bolova, trnce u rukama i nogama, te deficit kratkotrajnog pamćenja.
Dijagnoza bolesti u ranom stadiju postavlja se na temelju kliničke slike a kasnije serološkim testovima.
Bolest se liječi u fazi kožne promjene Sumamedom ili nekim drugim antibiotikom čime se u potpunosti prekida daljnji razvoj bolesti. Međutim, ukoliko se bolest ne prekine u ovoj fazi, dalje napreduje do neuroloških ili srčanih oblika a tada se liječi intravenskom primjenom penicilina, dakle neophodna je hospitalizacija. Dio pacijenata koji su liječeni antibioticima godinama nakon izlječenja ima zaostale neke simptome kao što su bolovi u mišićima i zglobovima, kognitivni deficiti, poremećaji sna i umor - navela je za Zavod za javno zdravstvo "Sveti Rok" Virovitičko - podravske županije Darija Petrovčić, dr. med., specijalist epidemiolog.
- Lyme boreliozu prenose zaraženi krpelji koji sišući krv na domaćinu ubacuju i svoju "slinu" - tekućinu koja sadrži Borreliu burgdorferi. Pretpostavlja se da krpelj mora biti zaboden u kožu domaćina 48 h ili više da bi prenio bakteriju. Bolest se ne prenosi s bolesne osobe na zdravu.
Ukoliko ste imali na svom tijelu krpelja i izvadili ga, pregledavajte mjesto uboda slijedećih mjesec dana. Ako primijetite crvenilo kože u obliku prstena javite se svom liječniku.
Najbolja mjera za sprječavanje Lyme borelioze je prevencija. Izbjegnite ubod krpelja na slijedeće načine:
izbjegavajte kretanje kroz grmlje i drugo gusto raslinje
koristite repelente, sredstva koja odbijaju insekte
neka tijelo bude pokriveno odjećom pri boravku u prirodi (dugi rukavi i nogavice, nogavice ugurane u čarape)
nakon povratka iz prirode promijenite odjeću, otuširajte se i pregledajte tijelo
ukoliko pronađete krpelja na tijelu što prije ga uklonite
primijenite repelente i na svojim kućnim ljubimcima jer oni mogu donijeti zaražene krpelje u vašu blizinu - objasnila je liječnica.
